Thank you for answering my other question. My client is wanting to have each of the vertical panels’ images show at the same time, but as you hover over a panel, the full image will show. Would that be possible anytime soon?

When do you anticipate the next update to be? Is there an option for making the image full screen on hover (over the panels)?
The update is already available. The hover effect that you mention will look bad, because the image is centred on the panel and when you rollover it will “jump” to the middle of the screen.

Currently the number of panels is limited to 5 mostly because with 6 you will get real thin panels (specially on smaller screen sizes). Just wanted to share. If you cant install the theme in wordpress ON A LOCAL HOST Go to the php.ini file and change. IT ALL SO MIGHT HELP PASTING THE FILE IN THE MAIN DIR FROM WORDPRESS

This is not exactly a rule, because that depends also on other factors (like number of active plugins, server side restrictions, ...). The only setting that seems to be truly important is the memory limit.

I have a problem with anything related to a portfolio stops the page from loading.
So if I put a portfolio feed on a page it won’t load and also if none of the portfolio pages will load either, even the demo one.
What do I need to do?
Is it a hosting problem? I build a site with the theme on my other domain which I installed via FTP. This time I did a one-click install from my host’s c-panel should I do an FTP install instead?

Hi Pirenko. I have been using your Verve theme successfully until today’s update. After I uploaded the new theme files I have couple of error lines on the homepage of my website concerning the functions.php custom fonts: error in the lines: 117, 120, 123 & 207. On mobile devices (iOS) it is 3 lines: functions.php 120, 123 & 207 (I have made screenshots but I cannot upload anything here, sorry). I have saved the old Verve theme folder before the update upload to my FTP, and because I need a functioning theme, I have now replaced the update which was causing errors, with this old folder, and the page again works perfectly. I now that it is neccessary that I make those updates for the page to work well with WP updates in the future – so : Can you help? I don’t know what’s causing it, I indeed changed the fonts, but they were listed in the theme admin panel font tab. I didn’t use any font’s which weren’t provided by the theme.

I hope you are fine I’m writing to you because I have found an issue with your theme. I purchased Verve recently and I started to create in a test area a restyling of a website. Basically, on the Team’s section, I cannot see the preview of the page. Instead of the page, I see the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’=>’ (T_DOUBLE_ARROW) in /wp-content/themes/verve/single-pirenko_team_member.php on line 246.
When I saw this I created a new test area with Wordpress from 0 and then I installed your theme. After that, I tried to preview the team page but I got a 404 error.
So, do you think that you can help me with this problem? Could be a syntax error on the php file single-pirenko_team_member.php?

I am having some trouble with the latest portfolio widget. I am trying to make 2 rows with 8 columns of portfolio items. They all show up underneath eachother instead of in a grid. If I change the columns number to 6 it works fine with 2 rows of 6 plus 4 in the 3rd row. If I change to 8 columns, they all show up under eachother. https://goo.gl/9LD94C

Ah, I see. There’s a difference between logged-in and logged-out view. If logged in, the page is loading completely while if not logged in, only the content is loading, and that’s why the menu keeps the same.
That is related with the Ajax load feature that is OFF when you are logged in. Once again, if you still need help, just send me a private message.

Theme updates will not have any effect on the website. You only need the child theme if you are going to introduce manual changes to the theme file system or styles.

Sorry, How do I display the [i] icon with slide out contact panel on the menu?
You can activate that button/area on the Hidden Sidebar tab of the theme options. After activating this area you can add content under Appearance>Widgets.

Just an update. If I change the width of my browser, the site loads fine at 869px wide and below. anything above and I just see the menu full screen
The problem was that you did not had any option for ”
Logo bar display”. I selected an option and it is fine now.

That option is on the Branding tab of the theme options. You are free to change it.
