Hi, I know you don’t offer support, but didn’t know if this qualifies under a different group. Tried replacing quote.png in assets/images, as I can’t see the image on the page being white, but no matter what it doesn’t show. don’t understand “quote.png?1478527386” or what to do.

Also, I am curious what your plans are for duration of updates. Thanks.

Hi. Yes, unfortunately, this also qualifies under a support since it is not a bug. The image you are trying to change is just one of the images in the sprite, you will need to modify icons-(some numbers).png to modify the quote.png image.

For updates, we currently don’t have any big plans for CarPress. The theme is stable and as far as we know bug-free. We are still planning to update the theme if there is any newly found bug or any kind of security issue. Take care!

thanks. I had a cache issue on my server. Do you know if it will be another year? I see you are still selling it, and I know as of now you are still updating, just want to make sure my client doesn’t get caught off guard.

Hi. Yes, definitely. We are not planning to stop updating any of our themes anytime soon. For example, our oldest theme HairPress from 2013 is still online and it has regular updates. It will be the same with CarPress and all other themes from ProteusThemes. You are in good hands.

those images are not responsive, also 100% Width Hook never works on iframes.

if you visit any inner page using mobile u will understand.

lots of other people complained about the same issue so there must be a fix already.

How can i get some sort of support on this theme? is it not available? I even tried to open a ticket and i have no luck. I cant even register carpress as one of the themes

Hi there, having trouble changing the background colour for the home page testimonial widget? The font is white which is fine with the clients black background, however with that widget the background appears a light grey which makes it impossible to read the content.

No options to customise this within the admin panel?

Is there any update available for this theme? Wordpress has updated itself 3 times since the installation. I’ve started to have low page speed insights in google.

Hi. The last version of CarPress is currently v1.11.5 which were published on November 7, 2016. We update our themes all the times where there is need to do it. Take care!

Hi, i just brought this theme a few weeks ago and only now realized that this theme is unsupported and will not be having any new features added to it etc? I am not really happy with this now, as there are alot of new features on your replaced theme AUTO! What is the best way around this? Shall I submit to ENVATO that I would like a refund for this theme and then purchase the new AUTO theme? I really like this theme but the new AUTO theme has far better features etc and is similar!

I have a client with these theme and it keeps getting hacked by junk redirecting visitors to sedalbi.com and 202.142.215.0. It might be advisable to not buy it. It is updated to the latest version.

Hi. Sorry, but on CarPress we don’t use any kind of Composer or Page Builder at all. We also don’t bundle any page builder plugin. Are you sure you are using CarPress?

This theme is constantly getting hacked. Deleted all plugins except basics and it’s still hacked non-stop. Latest is the header.php getting replaced.

Did you try to get in touch with your hosting company? They might have some more data available about it, how exactly the attacker came in the system. WordPress themes are one possible way, but surely not the only one.

Hi, I have added a blog post with a featured image and I can’t change the size of the featured image it is to small and cropping to much of the image, how do I change this so the image is bigger? thanks

This theme is so quick ! What have you guys development wise done to make it speed optimised ? i really need to know

Thanks for nice words. We are always happy when customers see how much we are trying to make sites as optimised as possible.

There are many different things that make our websites so fast. One of the most important is definitely how our themes are coded, without the bloat and with the optimized assets (css, js, images).

The second thing is the WordPress caching. We use WP Rocket plugin for caching the pages.

The third thing is the server. We use VPS servers at digital ocean, running nginx + php 5.6 + mariadb database.

The fourth thing is the CloudFlare CDN which is taking care for about 75% of our static assets and delivering them as fast as possible from the nearest data center to your location.

Hello, what plugin or other type of pop up box would you recommend for announcements to use with this theme? Or is there something else I could use inside the theme itself? I’d like something I could turn on or off. Thanks

For some reason, Yoast has disappeared off of the site. When I go to reinstall, it says that the files are already installed. However, the SEO settings have disappeared. This happened fairly recently, in the past couple weeks. Was there an update? Anyone know how to fix this?

How do you choose a background image for the header of the Team page please?

I have opened a ticket (#7122). It was closed and I was told I would not receive support. I can solve my own problem with CSS but I was wondering what the ‘proper’ way to do it is in case the client wants to change it themselves?

Even though we have a public policy about the supported and unsupported themes and in this case you are not entitled for personal support, I went to double check the issue and I can confirm the bug regarding this setting. It should be located within Appearance > Theme Options > Layout.

I will fix it ASAP and the update of the theme should be ready for download by tomorrow.

I am having an issue on my site here: http://residentialcarwash.com/contact-us/ where the Google Maps that comes with the theme is not working. I had the same issue with a plugin and added an Api key and it began working. Is that the same issue with your theme that I purchased?
