The Slider Revolution plugin is included in the theme. You can normally use this plugin without registering the product purchase code, the product activation option is available for users who have purchased this plugin individually and to enable auto update for the plugin. Of course you don’t need it since it was packed with the theme and need to be updated by the theme author.

The frontend editor is disabled in this theme as stated on the theme features: https://themeforest.net/item/overlap-high-performance-wordpress-theme/15344205#item-description__theme-features

This theme comes with custom elements and they are not compatible with the Frontend Editor so it was disabled by default.

We would recommend you to use the Backend Editor instead, it’s faster and we always use it to build the pages and any content on our demo sites.

Regarding the purchase code, the purchase code you have is for your purchased product, of course it’s for the theme so you couldn’t use it to register any other plugins.

Both Slider Revolution and Visual Composer are included in the theme, you can normally use it without registering or activating the product as stated in our documentation. That gallery is a carousel. Unfortunately, the carousel displays only 1 image on mobile and tablet by default. We will change the carousel settings in the next update. Thank you for reporting this issue.

First of all, try to check the column settings to see if you have disabled it on mobile. Edit the column container of the Video Player, select the Responsive Options tab and make sure you have unchecked all options in “Hide on device”.

You can manage it in the Timeline Controls at the bottom of the slide editor. You can drag and move the time of the Slide Main Background (blue color) to change the time of the whole slide, see more details in the documentation here: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/layer-animations-timeline/#layers-timing-sorting

Of course you can modify the blog layout similar to the link above.

This theme allows you to edit the blog template file in your child theme. Copy the blog template file from “wp-content/themes/overlap/templates/blog/content.php” and put it in your child theme “wp-content/themes/overlap-child-theme/templates/blog/content.php” and then edit it to suit your needs.

However, as you know the theme modification is not included in the support, you will need to do it by yourself I couldn’t help you with this.

Of course you can add your image logo into an Image Layer in the Slider Revolution.

However, the EPS file is not a web format image, all major browsers do not support this file format, you have to convert it to image format such as PNG.

This Overlap Slider is a custom slider from this theme, it has only an arrow icon to show the next slides in the right side, this is the theme design. You have to click on a dot navigation below the next arrow icon to show the previous slides or click next until it displays the first slide again.

If you’d like to show both previous and next arrow buttons, please use the Slider Revolution instead.

In our demo, we use HD MP4 video (1280×720px) and the file size is 3.9MB, the length is 37 seconds. Actually you can use a smaller one if you’re using a shared webhost or use YouTube and Vimeo videos rather than MP4 self-hosted video that won’t slow down your site.

I see that the sizes are cropped on your demo, but when we first starting using the Overlap setup on our Blog page, it actually would allow for vertical images to display fully. Please see this page – http://wyominguntrapped.org/category/news/page/2/ – for an example (The March 15 post). So I am confused, because clearly it was working a different way for a while?

Because that image is smaller than 960×540px so it displays without cropping but stretches to full the image area instead, as you can see it looks a bit blurry. Of course it will be cropped if it’s larger than the target size.

You can choose the text color in the column settings, edit the column container of the Testimonials and choose the Text Style.

What about the background?

When you choose the Light for Text Style, the background color of the Testimonials will be black to make the text stand out from the background, as you can see in our demo: http://wydethemes.com/overlap/elements/testimonials/

To change it to other colors, you have to add custom CSS below to Theme Options -> Advanced -> Head Content:
