I would like to have two separate login options. One for jobseekers and one för employers or if you would like to call it business-login. And I want them to see different category options in the main menu after they have logged in. Is that possible?

And, for the website I would like the employers to be able to filter between those jobseekers who have created a profile on the website. The filtering options I would like to have is for example “two years experience of javascript” “three years experience of programming HTML”.. Is that possible?

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Jobify out of the box uses a single Registration form for users which allows you to select a Role for them. See here.

You can use the in order to display certain menu items for logged in users or users with a specific role.

At this time, you can allow employers to search jobseekers using the Resume Manager plugin. This will provide only the default search filters available at this time. You would need to create a custom filter for filtering years of experience.

Hope this answers your question.

If you have further questions regarding Jobify, please contact us throughsupport!

Hello, can I add custom fields by using this plugin to search?

https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-field-editor/?v=f9308c5d0596

Thank you.

Hi, I got it and thank you.

Do you have any idea what would be the cost range to add about 5 more searchable fields? No problem if you do not know. I am just trying to estimate how difficult it is to add these fields and keep the theme running smooth.

We don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP CurveEnvato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Hi, thank you for provided information. It is useful. :)

I have tried to submit a ticket through your ticket platform but i wasn’t able to as it didn’t recognise my purchase from theme forest. I need to remove space above the Footer and widgets area (footer widgets) following the instructions in the documentation this didn’t work – if i can get help with this through here or help in setting up the ticket on your own support system.

Hi there!

I did see your ticket! I replied to it already! :) Let me know if you have any further questions today and I can help!

Kind regards,

Fernando

I’m planning to buy the theme but I have a question before that. When I post a job can I add multiple locations for one job offer? For example IT Specialist – New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles

Hello there!

Hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately, a job post can only contain 1 address at a time. You will need to create a new job post per address/location.

Hope this helps!

Cheers! Fernando

Hi Fernando,

You’ve got several thousand comments but one person mentioned this issue and it didn’t seem to get a response.

Also on your website, you showcase three job boards that used the jobify theme, namely “Strive For” as one of them. When I google that business ‘Strive For’, they don’t turn up at all which is concerning. Can you clarify?

I also have a few more additional questions:

1. How do bloggers (employers) manage their job dashboard? Can they see all applicants that have applied? 2. How do candidates manage their job dashboard? Can they see which employers viewed their resume? or how many views it has received? 3. Are candidates resumes open to public? Or must there be a log in? Can employers only see resumes if they have an account or they don’t require an account? 4. How can I send candidates recommended jobs to suit their field of work automatically? 5. Is there a way of letting candidates know when a job has been filled? 6. I understand with jobify you can link your application to Linkedin and Facebook. Is it possible to add Instagram? 7. With Ninja forms can you link your resume to the above social media or is that an add-on plug in? 8. Another competitor has a job board theme called “Job Career” which includes all the plug ins you have to pay for for the Jobify theme http://chimpgroup.com/theme/jobcareer-wordpress-job-board-theme/ can you explain how yours is more superior despite having to pay for the additional plug ins?

Many thanks,

Nisha

Hello again Nisha,

Hope you are doing well once more.

I was able to find the review, that is not the case for all our other users. The user who submitted the review never once reached out to us. We always try to improve our themes capabilities and should there be an issue we always like to provide a solution.

Regarding the other website, there could be many reasons. We do not personally know the website’s settings. There is always a way to improve the visibility of your website on a search engine, it might be this website has not enabled this.

Question: 1. How do bloggers (employers) manage their job dashboard?

Answer: After the user submits’s a job, they can manage them on the jobs dashboard page. All jobs will be displayed there.

Question: 2. How do candidates manage their job dashboard? Can they see which employers viewed their resume? or how many views it has received?

Answer: Similar to a jobs dashboard, candidates can manage their resumes through the resume dashboard. There is no feature to view the users who viewed theme, but you can track the view count using the Stats plugin.

Question: 3. Are candidates resumes open to public? Or must there be a log in? Can employers only see resumes if they have an account or they don’t require an account?

Answer: The Resume Manager plugin has visibility settings to prevent users from viewing a candidate’s page based on a role. This will force users to create an account.

Question: 4. How can I send candidates recommended jobs to suit their field of work automatically?

Answer: There is no built-in feature. What can be done is using the Job Alerts plugin they can create alerts when a job matches their search criteria.

Question: 5. Is there a way of letting candidates know when a job has been filled?

Answer: There is no option.

Question: 6. I understand with jobify you can link your application to Linkedin and Facebook. Is it possible to add Instagram?

Answer: At this time Applying with Facebook is available. Instagram is not possible.

Question: 7. With Ninja forms can you link your resume to the above social media or is that an add-on plugin?

Answer: No, each one is their own separate method. If you apply with the form, you can’t apply using the social media method.

Question: 8.

Answer: Although I have seen a few users migrate over to Jobify. They were not happy with the overall service they provided. We aim to provide the best service to our users when it comes to helping them set up their website.

Yes, it may sound like it is awesome to have all the features included within the theme, but in doing so the theme itself does not follow best practices. A public WordPress theme, free or paid, is supposed to pull data from the database and display it. That is all. These bloated themes also contain features you may not use and it will just slow your website down.

Also, should you wish to migrate to another theme, you will not be able to migrate the features since they are incorporated into the theme.

It is not just about why our theme is better, there are many factors why bloated WordPress themes are not the best solution. We provide quality service to our customers and provide themes that follow the WordPress Best Practices.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

1) Hello, unfortunately my google map doesn’t work http://ödp-jobs.de/finde-einen-job/

2) and an other question How can I change the English words into Germany? Where are they in the editor?

Hello there!

Question: 1) Hello, unfortunately my google map doesn’t work http://ödp-jobs.de/finde-einen-job/

Answer: Looks like the HTTP Referrer URLs were not set up right. You will need to modify them in the correct format. Try: .ödp-jobs.de/ ödp-jobs.de/*

Question: 2) and an other question How can I change the English words into Germany? Where are they in the editor?

Answer: You can translate your website into Germany as mentioned here: http://listify.astoundify.com/article/282-create-a-full-translation

Hi, I need to make one package Free for candidates (Post a resume) and two paid options for Featured candidate (1. – 1 month and 2. – 3 months). Now I followed the docs and installed Wc Paid Listings (it works great for Job packages) but it won’t show these packages for ‘Candidates’. I cannot find the settings required in docs. What do I need to add? A shotcode? Where? Thanks

I forgot. I have assigned ‘Resume Packages’ for these two packages in woocommerce product options.

Hello there!

Looks like you found the solution to your problem! :) You will need to assign packages for resumes by setting the correct type. This will display them on the Resume Pricing page.

If you need further assistance with this, contact us through support! We will be happy to assist!

do you have any plans to add questions to the jobify theme whereby an employer can state questions such as: ‘do you have 5 years experience’ and then the applicant wuold have to tick the box confirming he/she has this?

Hello there!

Hope you are doing well today!

At this moment, the Admin can create a custom application form for the job listings. This can include questions like “do you have 5 years experience” and a confirmation checkbox.

Hope this answers your question!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hello there!

Is it possible to have my social media icons on the top next to my page menu instead having the icons in the footer?

Hello there!

The social media icons at this time are only available in your footer area. There is no setting to move them to the page menu instead out of the box.

Hope this answers your question!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi Fernando

I have written to Adam but have not received a response. Can you please answer this question before i proceed to purchase this theme: I read reviews that the theme coding for Jobify blocks google’s search analytics with the result that sites using jobify theme do not appear in google search results. Something to do with the buttons in the theme- can you clarify this problem and how it might be fixed?

Thanks!

Hi there!

I saw your email and replied back to you. Would you be able to check my response and let me know? :)

Thanks,

Fernando

Hello,

I am using the latest version of Jobify with the latest version of WooCommerce, WP Job Manager, WPJM extensions etc. and for some reason I can’t create/save Job Package Subscriptions. It just saves as a simple subscription.

Any reason why this is happening?

Thanks!

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out. This seems to be an issue between the WC Paid Listings plugin and WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. I would get in touch with the developers of the WC paid listings plugin.

They can provide you with assistance regarding this matter.

Cheers! Fernando

Hi, Fernando.

About customization in the widget called Jobify – Page- Stats:

Is there any way I can show statistics from other factors? F.example. I Would like stats from From resumes manager such as Resume categories, Resume Regions, Resume skills. The stats will show the employers who look into my site, the various skills or education my candidates have. I tried to illustrate my issues https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B95a8oREGSo3LUZWc0lpYXp5aVk/view

If yes: Do I have to buy a new license or who should I contact for customisation job? Otherwise: Where can I find the source code of the widget and try by myself?

Thanks

Regards Stefan

Hello, Stefan!

Hope you are doing well today!

At this time only the default Stats will display on the Stats Widget. This includes the following:
  • Jobs
  • Positions Filled
  • Companies
  • Users
  • Resumes (Resume Manager plugin required )

To add custom stats would require modifications to be done to the widget. We don’t offer custom work right now or provide consulting on how to customize your theme. However, we are partnered with and highly recommend WP CurveEnvato Studio or Codeable if you need help customizing your website.

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Is it possible to alter the job posting submission form to allow for the inclusion of a PDF version of the posting as well?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today.

There is no additional step to add a PDF version of the job by default. You can use the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin to integrate an additional field where users can upload a PDF of the job.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Fernando

How to reduce the page header and remove the scroll effect?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today.

If you are using either the Hero callout widget you can adjust the height if not you will need to use CSS to adjust the height.

Regarding the Site Header, there is a setting to toggle the sticky header on or off.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Okay.. so where in the CSS do I adjust the height of the .site-header?

You can add your own custom CSS to the style.css file. This will override the default CSS with your own.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Could you use this theme to create a freelance portal such as Upwork, freelancer, etc?

Hello there!

Hope you are doing well today!

Jobify is meant to be used as a Job Board website. You are able to achieve something like Upwork, but will need custom work to achieve what the website offers.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Thank you for your reply Fernando! I looked through your Listify theme and noticed that all of your plugins are available for this template. For the Jobify theme, are all of these plugins also available? The main one I want is the ability to charge to list and also a review option (does the review option work for both the candidate and employer?) also, are users available to create accounts on the jobify theme?

Sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure I make the correct purchase

Thanks for your time

J.

Hi there J!

All premium plugins are sold separately for Jobify just like our Listify theme. You can integrate charging a user using the WC Paid Listing plugin.

Regarding reviews, at this moment there is no compatible feature to allow reviews on Jobify.

You can read about compatible plugins here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/811-currently-compatible-add-ons

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Does this theme support menu icons through Ion or Font Awesome?

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out!

Our theme uses ionicons. You can add the’se iocns to menu items.

There is no built in option to add custom icons and would require customization to add them.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi Fernando,

I tired adding Ion Icons to the Jobify Theme and the Icons don’t seem to show up. Does Jobify support Ion Icons in the menu items?

Thanks!

My apologies for the confusion, but at this time Jobify does not support icons on the Primary menu at this time!

My apologies for any confusion.

Kind regards,

Fernando

LOVE your theme! On the ‘Create Your Profile’ link, there is a popup which lets the user register. Can we add additional fields in that form? If so, how? We need to add in school, age, etc. Thanks!

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out!

You can add the Role selector field to the registration form, but not additional fields like Age or School.

On the Job or Resume Submission form, you are able to add additional fields, using WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. On these forms, you can add custom fields.

Hope this helps!

If you need further assistance or have any further technical questions regarding Jobify, please contact us through our support page! We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
