Hi, I’m about to buy these theme, only two questions: -is it possible to charge more than a photo into the same post ( more photos or photos and videos) -is it possible to add external link to my posts? Thank you

My featured image only shows after I click ‘continue reading’ and can view the entire post. It doesn’t show on the homepage or on the slider? Do you have a link on how to fix this?

For now, we don’t have a theme which has a portfolio template. But some of our customers have been using 3rd party plugins to add portfolio features into our themes. Maybe you can try it too!

This theme is beautiful! Love it. I’m having trouble getting the slider to work. I found the help file that says to install the Baxel Slider plugin and see the note in WP that says I should install that, but it’s not linked anywhere. I don’t see the plugin in the WP marketplace and a google search didn’t turn up anything either. Am I missing something? Is it part of the downloaded package and I just can’t find it? Help!

The slider is a part of the package and the only thing you need to do is to follow the instructions.
Bummer. I would consider buying the theme for future support but if I can’t guarantee the slider will work, which is kind of what makes the theme so beautiful, I can’t justify buying it. I followed the instructions and this is what I see in my WP install:

Just downloaded free version to use. Cannot install on wordpress.org…says the style.css file is missing. Please advise…
I’m enjoying the theme a lot so far, but for the life of me, I cannot get it to accept a background image. I’ve tried customizing the CSS in the WP customizer, editing the style sheet itself, even installing a plugin, and nothing works. I did manage to get it to add a background image on the homepage at one point by using Custom CSS in the WP customizer…but only on the homepage. The background didn’t appear on any other page, even when I tried manually putting in the CSS again just to test.
I really want to stick with this theme because otherwise it’s doing everything I want and need. But this little hangup has me scratching my head. Any thoughts?

As I teach my children when you are wrong you are wrong and should have no problem admitting it! I WAS, OF COURSE, WRONG and I realized it shortly after writing it but one of my turd nuggets (children) had a meltdown and I didn’t have a chance until now to get back on the computer. I appreciate your prompt response which has been faster and more complete than themes I have purchased on Envato/theme forest. 1. Yes, you can do it.
2. Yes, you can use Visual Composer but the integration is on you. By default, we did not add anything to our theme to make it integrated with VC. https://wpbakery.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/VC/pages/21463048/Theme+Integration
3. Baxel hasn’t got a page builder and all you see on our demo site has been controlled by theme customizer. (Native WordPress customizer.) Blog layouts, header styles, post options etc.
4. No, Baxel is not compatible with WooCommerce for now. Unfortunately we can not guarantee that the result you’re planning to get will work perfectly. But we may add this feature in near future.

So here’s another question: On the Grotte theme that I already have, could I make a front page similar to your demo but use the shortcodes to display a mix of blog posts and products rather than only products?

Please go to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” and add the code below:
h1, h2 { color: #F00; }
This will make your headings red. You can change the #F00 part as you wish.
If you’d like to change the title on post page, use the following CSS:
h1.article-title { color: #F00; }
And for the titles on your blog homepage feed:
h1.article-title a { color: #F00; }

As I understand, you want to add some CSS for a specific widget, even if you have 2 of them. For example, you have 2 “Recent Posts” widgets, but you need to change one of them only.
If so, you’ll need the “ID” of the widget. To find out the ID value, please right click on the widget on your site and click “Inspect” (for Chrome). There you’ll see the ID to use in the custom CSS.
For example: https://i.imgur.com/pSK8nir.jpg
So you should use the “baxel_widget_selected_posts-2” ID like that:
#baxel_widget_selected_posts-2 { color: #000; }

Hi, I really like the look of the theme and I’m thinking about buying it. I have some pre-sale questions though. I’d be grateful if you could answer them.
1. Does the theme provide blog subscription integration for widgets like Jetpack subscribe or Mailchimp subscribe?
2. Would it be possible to integrate the post views plugin so that view counts appear on the home page and on single posts?
3. Does the theme support gravatars?
4. Is it possible to remove the share buttons, categories and tags on front page post stream without altering theme code?
5. Would you be able to tell me which font type you used to create the Baxel logo? I really like it and would like to use the font to create my own logo.

1. Yes, you can use MailChimp for WordPress plugin.
2. We can’t guarantee that all of the 3rd party plugins will work with our theme perfectly, but for the plugins like Post Views, I think it’ll be fine.
3. Yes.
4. Sure! Please go to “Appearance > Customize > 1. Post & Page Settings > 1.8. Show/Hide Elements” and you’ll see the related checkboxes over there.

6. Yes. On “Edit Page” screen, you’ll see a box named “Baxel Post Options” at the bottom right of the screen. There, please check “Hide Sidebar on Post Page” box.

Great theme! Before I buy, just one question about the theme’s capabilities: Is it possible to set up the theme such that upon loading it shows the header in “HERO STYLE”, but upon scrolling down, once the navigation bar reaches the top of the window, keeps the nav bar in place? I don’t want the nav bar to exit the view only to pop back up a moment later. That doesn’t feel clean and IMO goes against the minimalist intent of the theme. Thanks in advance
