When I activate the child theme, I get the error message “DFD Theme Extensions is enabled but not effective. It requires DFD Native theme in order to work.”—This does not go away. Why does this happen?

This message used to show up if the child theme name is changed in style.css file. Could you please submit a ticket here and we’ll help you to get this sorted.

Ah that’s what I did. I changed it to “Customer Name – Native Child Theme” as this is the format I like to work with.
That’s it a problem, just submit a ticket here and we’ll mail you short instructions on how to make your child theme to be recognized by the DFD-extensions plugin.

We’ve checked your site and as we can see the issue is connected with the background-size set for the footer background image.
To fix the issue, we’ve set the image for you as a background for the row and set it to ‘cover’ background-size, please clear cache and check your site now.

so…I figured it was connectd to the rtl
then I switched to ltr and it worked.
still need the rtl to work though

We released the RTL support yesterday. The latest theme version is 1.1.5. and you will get the latest verison if you download the theme package from your Themeforest profile Downloads section. You can also manage the automatic updates by following the instructions from this article

Hi there, brilliant theme and support but that DFD accordion drives me crazy. It needs a little bit of attention. I.ie. Paragraphs doesn’t have paddings inside of text block, styling doesn’t work properly in dark mode when row has selected dark background. Hope you fix this.

Omfg – this is extremely slow and extremely demanding for normal pc. It is so irresponsible to put something like that on the market. Google says 56/100 – poor. Do you guys have any intention to solve some fundamental problems and to speed up site a bit in the near future? As for your question, it is quite strange to receive the results you’ve described, since as you may check the results from Google PageSpeed Insights we have from our end, the performance is quite high (Good, 87 / 100).

In case you buy the theme, you can optimize your images, install caching plugins etc and optimize your site even more.

That’s the problem – you manipulate and you lie about the results. You do not want to face the reality. You have defected product. The sooner you accept that fact, the better for you and your sales.
Please spend a few minutes and have a look at the elements need to be optiomized according with the google page speed results. You will see that there are from 1 to 3 files in the list of js files located in the theme and they are placed at the very bottom of the recommendations list. The css recommendations are the same. The top of the list is the list of wordpress core and third-party plugins which cannot be accessed and optimized from the theme. We also have an analytics code on or demos which affects the results as well. At the same time the available features also matter. The more features you get the more affect on performance you get. Twenty_fifteen is a good and fast theme but doesn’t provide customization possibilities. Our theme provides those possibilities. So, it’s up for you to decide.

We used header style 1 for that page on our demo and you have header style 2 on your page. Simply change header style to header style 1 in pgae backend > Header style> Select header style dropdown.

I did and it looks just the same: it overlaps with the content below and it’s basically invisible, as the font and the logo are white.

How can i set diffrent menu hover styles? I want something else than only the line above the menu item itself.

At the moment we do not have other hover styles.

When I install the theme demo data to recreate the online demo (Shortcode pages, Pages, Home data & Homepage layout) the website is huge. When I back it up, the backups are all around 350mb – 450mb – which is pretty huge – does this sound right?

It appears after installation the Theme Options menus are not available and shows up blank. Also the javascript doesn’t seem to work when trying to access each theme option menu directly.

I think that we have a bug with the DFD Extensions update, a workaround is to delete the plugin and reinstall
