Do you have a version of this site with the header style of your other theme, here “http://preview.imithemes.com/?theme=Gaea-WP” ? I want to use this header style but with the crowdfunding funtionality… Can it do fixed and flexible funding?
Also, is either theme Gaea or this one compatible with Ignition Deck if we want to use it? Working on this now. Thanks!

The header styles of different themes are for them only respectively. If you need then my support team can assist you in editing header style of BornToGive theme to replicate the style of Gaea.
We have not officially checked BornToGive or Gaea with ignition deck plugin but both works well with WP Charitable plugin.

Hey there, We’re so happy with this theme! It’s been really great for us so far. Can’t recommend this enough to people. How can we display the total amount we’ve raised from all our campaigns? It shows in the dashboard under the Charitable Donation Statistics, however not on the front end. Thanks again!

Thank you! I’ve contacted them. Is there a plan to add a Visual Composer widget for this? On your demo (http://preview.imithemes.com/?theme=Born-To-Give-WP) you show a widget that says “TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED $7850098”, however you need to manually update this amount. It would be great if this would update automagically!

Good Day I have a multisite with the main site and 3 subsites. One of the subsites has the white screen of death when the Revolution Slider is activated. The advice I can find is to change a line in the functions/meta-functions.php. I cannot find this. Please advise.

1. Can Users submit Events from the Front End?2. I'm planning to use Give WP in order to make use of other Payment Gateways & Add On's - Is it possible to integrate the Theme with Give WP?3. When users Submit a new Project/Cause, is it possible to select a Currency of their choice instead of a Global Currency, for example if a Charity in South Africa submits a Project/Cause can the target amount be calculated in Rands then if a Charity is in USA, can they select USD?4. How can I customize the Login, Registrations/ Submit Forms to be pop-up?Thank you once again for the Theme & I hope to get a reply soon.

1. Sorry, no front end event submission in the current version of theme.
2. Theme is compatible with Give plugin for donations page but you won’t be able to use it’s add on’s for the WPCharitable plugin campaigns/causes. They both are separate plugins.
3. For this the plugin’s people would answer you more clearly, you can contact them here: https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/
4. Campaigns/Causes donation popup form can be modified with custom hooks the plugin’s provide. Registration form for events needs theme files customization to modify it.

Hello, I have purchased and installed this theme and having problems with Visual Composer, appears not to work and will not properly activate. I have logged into the support forum but cannot post this only read messages for some reason. Can you please rectify this – send me a version that works today please. Thanks a ton. Just a couple more things and the site should be perfect.
1- Is possible to change the the “blog” header title for all the post pages?
2- Is it possible to remove all date information for the events, or to hide it on the archive (grid) page (using BORNTOGIVE Events) AND the individual pages?
3- I’d also like remove the featured image from the event pages. (There’s not setting to remove these and all the css I’ve tried will not work)
That’s it, any suggestions would be super helpful.
Any chance I could get the css code to remove featured images from the event pages? It seems like a setting that should be built into the theme. Along with removing the date information of the single event pages.

I’ve handled all the other customization… just looking for a few quick questions. Please don’t tell me you’re gonna make me pay $40 to renew support for the fact that you have a theme with no way to turn off the featured images on event pages, or remove unnecessary information for past events.

Your theme was difficult to customize. Lacked several logical functions, and also had several settings that were seemingly unrelated that would “break” content from loading properly, like events loading into a grid archive page.
I’m especially disappointed you couldn’t take 2 seconds to answer my questions when I had not asked for help up to this point.
Hi, Sorry for not replying earlier. We as an author also find it so difficult to tackle these kind of situations caused by the Envato so called support policy change. We all were happily providing the free support to all theme users and never asked to made this change. But now we are in a situation where we just can’t provide support without an active support term. But I just can’t get over this fact that people started calling a theme bad as soon as their support period is expired but before that all was super cool for them. Please don’t take it personally but this is a fact which you would have also experienced serving people in your own business. Providing an option to hide the event featured image is not a mandatory WordPress theme requirement as far as I know after been developing WP themes for over 10+ Years. I know the points you asked would have taken 10 seconds for me but if I keep on doing this for every user(Support expired) then it will be a real time deal for me. However, I actually sent an message to the email you left, and I have now gone back and forth 3-4 times trying to explain the situation and get answers to those questions that “would have taken 10 seconds” to answer. I am having a problem with the special characters in the theme font (‘,”,etc) all changing to ?’s Regardless of copying the exact page or code. Once I input the new text it changes the correct characters to ? marks. Can’t figure out why one page will work and the next will not, even though it’s an exact copy. Super frustrating.

Since making the latest update, our Revolution Slider has stopped displaying on the homepage, along with all banner images on individual pages, and the text “DESC” now appears on several pages throughout the site.
It’s a total nuisance that I will have to once again pay for support because the “updates” received for the theme are always problematic, rather than actually updating for the better.
Further to that, the fact that the Born to Give theme requires almost 10 plug-ins to properly function is a total headache as well.
I sincerely hope you’ll address the above issue re: slideshow/banners/DESC with your current update ASAP. And it would be very nice if you did so without referring me to the support forum for which I’ll have to once again pay to use a theme which seems to never be functioning.

I am a little surprised while reading this sentence as we are among the very few authors here who keeps on adding new and new features to all of our themes for a long period of a theme life. Some problems may occur with new features despite of our all testings. If there is something that is a problem caused by an update then you can simply create a support thread to report it and if we found it with the theme itself then we are always ready to fix it.
You are not obliged to install all the plugins as not all of them are required but yes to use the theme to it’s full extent you have to install the recommended plugins. You must not be aware of the fact that as per the current WordPress standards most of the functionality must not be included in the theme instead in plugins.
I am not here for customers to refer them to support forums only, but if something that need a little investigations before I recommend any solution then I had to do so.

I have created the support ticket re: slideshow & banner images.
As can be seen from previous posts, with each BTG update since purchase we have encountered various problems. While you may be surprised, my point is that the ‘required’ plugins for the theme to function properly are numerous, and with other themes we have utilized in the past, many of those functions (shortcodes, visual composer, etc.) would be built-in to the theme itself. But now with BTG, we have our plug-ins maxed out because of the theme’s requirements, and those plug-ins require constant updating. It’s time consuming and very frustrating when we now have this larger than life margin of error.
We love the theme, honestly. I just really wish that it was more streamlined in terms of its plug-in integrations and ultimately, that when updates are released, they don’t immediately destroy all the time and effort we’ve put into building the website.

As I said the WordPress theme submission requirements are getting strict with each passing day. You may have had experience with the other themes in the past with these additional plugins incorporated in the theme but the themes of current times won’t have like that. We are not allowed to do that and Envato Theme Reviewers won’t pass our themes if by chance we do so.

After updating the theme today, I cannot add new posts or pages and am getting error messages all over the site (including text “DESC” on the home page that I cannot find the source of… it appears to be embedded in the HTML). I don’t know how to start a support ticket and this URGENTLY needs to be resolved!
