We can’t see such issue on our end, most likely such problem is caused by cache. We’d advise you to clear it: deactivate and activate cache plugin, contact your hosting provider in order to clear the cache on the server, and check how settings are applied. Sometimes it happens that due to some server peculiarities there is a need to upload the theme to the server directly. Some servers don’t allow to implement any changes in .htaccess, but still the theme can be successfully installed even without edits.
The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning this type of the theme installation – please look through it. The theme documentation can be found at the DOCS folder you downloaded from the Themeforest together with the theme archive (open index.html file in any browser)

This is a great theme! I have a couple questions.
1. How do I make the navigation bar stay the same height when you scroll down the page? I still want it to be fixed to the top of the page but I want the height to always stay the same.
2. Is there a way that I can make the social media icons in the navigation bar & footer bigger? I tried changing stuff in the CSS but nothing that I changed would work.
3. In the demo “Get Involved” page there are portfolio images that have rollovers that say “teach children, church school, etc.” but I couldn’t figure out how to get those rollovers on my portfolio items.
4. I can’t get the google maps to work. I saw another comment that you need to get a key and activate API’s so I did that but I get an error that says “Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.”

4. The matter is that a while ago Google changed the way Google Maps should function and now API key is required (it wasn’t required previously). Please add your key in Theme Settings – Elements – Custom codes tab. The key can be generated here. Here is a video instruction so that you can see how the key should be generated. Please be sure that you activated the Google Maps JavaScript API and Google Maps Geocoding API.
Concerning the Events month view – please note that this page is generated automatically by the Events Calendar plugin, to find it please make sure that this view is activated in Events – Settings – Display tab, and you can find and change the url to your events page in the General tab.

As for the messages concerning purchase code – as developers we are the owner of proper purchase code exactly for Revolution and Layer Sliders. Slider licenses prohibit us from distributing sliders purchase codes, that’s why we cannot provide it. Theme purchase code won’t be accepted in slider as it refers to a completely another product. But please note that purchase code isn’t required for slider functioning, it allows to get plugin updates via dashboard, it’s not necessary as updates will be provided in theme updates on the Themeforest. You can download the latest theme update and find the Layer slider plugin version 6.3.0 in my-religion\framework\admin\inc\plugins\LayerSlider.zip.

Please note that Sermon Slug can be changed in Theme Settings – Single Posts – Sermon tab. I also recommend you to re-save your permalinks settings after changing the slug for the correct functioning.

One thing I love about your theme demo is how the background in the slider on the homepage moves. Can you help me do that? I was able to get the words to move but cant get the background.

In fact the desired changes require some code modification, as the theme doesn’t presupposed mentioned displaying for profiles with horizontal layout. You can proceed to \wp-content\themes\my-religion\framework\function\template-functions-profile.php and delete the highlighted code.
Besides I’d like to pay your attention that we strongly recommend not to change the theme files as it may cause problems with the theme functioning and we don’t bear responsibility for the customization you provide, in fact customization, code changing and theme modifications are beyond our support policy. After you import demo content the menu isn’t set. you need to proceed to Appearance- Menus and choose the main menu as primary navigation.
Also you need to choose your homepage in Settings – Reading – choose Static page and select Home Page for a drop down.
Besides our theme comes with a detailed How-To available in the DOCS folder of the general theme archive (it’s the index.html file which should be opened with your browser). Hope it would be helpful.

Thanks for the help! One last question, for the portfolio shortcode page (Portfolio grid with no gap) there is padding on either side of the squares, are the rows fixed at 4 items per each row or do they automatically expand to fill the width of wider screens e.g. if I add 8 items, will they expand to 8 per row, or in general is there any way to adjust the minimum number of items per grid row on a large display?

I know this seems like a very simple problem but I wanted to try and get it fixed. On the main home page there is a “Next Events” section and on your demo page the find out more tab is aligned to the right, but on my page it just puts it right after the event title. Not sure why this is happening.

Our events view is achieved with the help of Events Calendar Pro plugin that comes with the Events Countdown and Events list widget with extended options. But please note that Pro version should be purchased separately as this plugin is prohibited from third-party distribution.
In the free version of the Events Calendar plugin you can use basic Events List widget. More information about Events Calendar PRO plugin can be found here.

It’s just that on My landing page, the events don’t count down like in the demo. Is there documentation that guides how to set up an event. I don’t see an option to set up a date on My Events options only time

Hello, just purchased this theme. Installed and integrated demo content. On the home page, the revolution slider is full width, however, everything that follows appears boxed (not full width). Theme settings are set to liquid layout, as well as page settings. Each section in the “HOME” page is set to custom width but theres no place to indicate “full width.” Thoughts on why the other sections aren’t full width?

I am adding my staff profiles and everything looks great until I get to the mobile version of it. The heading background image becomes a sliver when reduced to mobile. Where do I need to go put in a custom height for mobile scale heading?
