I am trying to post a ticket on your support website but it is not letting me. After selecting ‘[Verified] Aurum’ and clicking ‘Verify purchase with Envato’, it takes me to page which I must either approve or deny. After selecting ‘Approve’, it simply takes me to the previous page with no changes or option to actually write a ticket… Any guesses as to why?
Anyhow, my questions are as follows:
1.) I have recently updated both WordPress, all 3rd party plugins, and Aurum to the latest versions. I noticed that the map for the contact page required a Google Maps API. After pasting in the API code, I noticed that I was not able to select zones for the locations. As soon as I go to type something in the field, it automatically changes from ‘Search for address…’ to ‘undefined’. The search option also serves no value, as it remains saying ‘Searching…’ for an indefinite amount of time. Any guesses why this is happening?

After following the proposed troubleshooting methods of disabling themes and plugins, the error message continues. Any ideas?

Also, are you able to address my above inquiries? As they are not customizations or tweaks, simply glitches within the Aurum theme. Will these be fixed in future releases? I would appreciate some thoughts and solutions towards fixing this.

1— Please check if you are using the latest version of the theme because we haven’t received any complain for this area by any user.
The latest version of the Aurum is 2.9.8.1 (for the moment), you can read the changelog on this link.
2— This should be a problem on your server so please contact your hosting provider or Layer Slider support.
If you where using an old version of the theme then you need to update this plugin to the latest version that our theme offers.
3— Read the first answer. It looks that you are using an very old theme update (2.5).

These issues are occuring on a dev site I have setup, not my main website, www.voltfuse.com. My dev site has wordpress, woocommerce, Aurum, and all plugins up to date.
The issues seem to lay within Aurum and the Advanced Custom Fields, Advanced Custom Fields: Coordinates, and Advanced Custom Fields: Repeater Field.

I can remember inquiring some time ago about you guys adding a feature that would expand additional details for map pins, showing store locations and their details. Is this a feature you have added yet, or know how we can achieve?

1— This feature is not available on our theme for the moment.
2— This is how Wordpress blog handles the text by default. And this is a customization question but I will try to help you this time. If you want you can apply this fix, that will make your images 100% of the devices that are 720px and below.
Please add the code below to your Custom CSS area:

Will this be updated in the next theme release? I’ve tried updating and manually replacing the file but no luck.
Also, LayerSlider support said that the theme author is responsible for handling my above question. I suppose I will wait and see if the next theme release fixes it.

I noticed that the same file that is mentioned at the end of that article for Kalium is the same file of that is out of date for Aurum. However, I assume that download that is included in the article would not solve the Aurum issue.
I assume we can soon expect an update for Aurum that will be compatible with 3.0.8?
I have files that are out of date… The core files are the wrong version.

As we always write this information in Aurum changelog: “Laborator recommends not update WooCommerce to a newer version than 3.0.5 before we release compatible version of latest WooCommerce update”.

Please make sure that you are not using Child theme, because maybe you are using an outdated file on your Child theme files.
We don’t have this issue on our theme, and it should work to you too. Can you please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don’t come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

Hi, I already checked your live demo theme, your theme is beautiful and awesome. But i have 1 question about the checkout page? Can it separate checkout page into 2 steps, step 1st: customer will put their billing information, and shipping address also. Step 2nd customer will see the order detail and finish the payment.
The main purpose of all 2 step is for collecting the customer info. Just in case they will not finish the checkout. So i can use abandoned email campaign for recovery the sales. IF you know Shopify checkout process you will see they’re doing this.
Can i do that with your checkout process in your theme? thank you.

That is not possible through the theme options or by default via WooCommerce settings, but I have found YITH WooCommerce Multi-step Checkout plugin which does the checkout part step by step. Unfortunately I don’t know if the plugins collects information before proceeding with the checkout.

I’m experiencing some responsive issues and would really appreciate your help to solve this. My support has expired and I understand if you can’t pick this up, but if so, please could you let me know if you would be able to help me with below before I extend my support?
1. When browser window is between 980px and 1200px, the product images in my product carousels becomes very small and items are no longer centered.
2. I have a product carousel on the shopping page, with the Columns count set to 2. When browser window is larger than 1200px I see 2 columns as expected. However as I shrink the window it changes to 3 columns, until the window is the size of a mobile, and then only showing 1 column. When 2 columns has been defined, I would expect to always see 2 columns no matter browser size?
Finally, I have an issue with responsiveness on the cart page, where the product overview is wider than the window, and creating a “horizontal scroll”. This happened after I updated the latest version of Aurum and Woocommerce 3. Is this a know issue that will be resolved in a future update?

Envato has introduced a new plugin that can update the themes it is called Envato Market and we have added this version from the Aurum 2.9 that we released on March 2016. (see changelog).
If you still have any problem with the update then please send us your site URL, WP and FTP credentials on email? We need to investigate your problem and then get back to you if we have any possible solution.
To send us email use this link and please write us your request again, because we receive a lot of emails on daily basis and we unfortunately can’t remember all customers requests.

aurum/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/grouped.php version 3.0.3 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.7,

hello Team, My support has expired. But could you please help me with this. The visual composer , it doesnt work. on clicking on the classic mode nothing happens . on clicking on the front end it just opens up the page and nothing happens. When you try to add elements, nothing happens. Its just not responding. Do we have to purchase the visual composer since it doesnt work on my website? doesnt it come with the theme update?

That is happening because you are using the latest version of our theme but you haven’t updated Visual Composer (and probably other premium plugins too).
To update those plugins you just need to go to your Wordpress dashboard > Appearance > Install Plugins.
If you can’t update any premium plugin that comes with our theme go to Plugins > Installed Plugins and delete that plugin then install it from Appearance > Install Plugins page again.

The Visual Composer just loads if I try to edit the page. How can that get solved?

Please make sure that you are using the latest Aurum update, currently version 2.9.8.1 (see changelog).
Then after you update the theme make sure to go to Appearance > Install plugin to update your Visual Composer version to the latest one that the theme offers.

Layer Slider is not a required plugin for Aurum theme, so if you don’t want to use sliders on your site or you want to use another plugin (such as Revolution Slider on your case) then you can disable or delete this plugin

I got a similar problem. I’ve updated Woocommerce to the 3.7.0 version and when I click “Products” at the WP Panel, the page shows me this sentence:
