Have tried uploading to the latest version v1.4.7.5, but the home page now shows blank. Looking at the code that is rendered it just stops when it gets to the header tag https://prnt.sc/feyvjw

Hi

try to enable wp_debug https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress and let me know what the error is. At that line the function ‘workscout_header_class’ is called,

Hi, I have purchased the theme. but I want to upgrade to Core Add-on Bundle because I need only the resume Addon. Do I have to pay extra $125? I thought the Resume feature already included in the theme.

You can buy just the Resume Manager https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/resume-manager/ You can try coupon code corebundlepersonal for 25$ discount on a bundle, but I’m not sure if that still works

Hi Purethemes,

Can I ask for links to the following demos: 1. Basic, without any plugins 2. With the premium/paid recommended plugins

and how much would each item cost? Thank you very much!

Hi

here’s the basic demo http://light.workscout.in/ without premium plugins and here’s a demo that uses all of the official WP Job Manager add-ons https://workscout.in/ – that one is a 125$ bundle https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/bundle/

Hi,

I have imported the demo, but the category icons are missing.

Am i missing something?

Thank you.

sorry, it’s a typo, i meant smaller. i’m still trying to make the change using the child theme, but it won’t stick.

I’m about to release update that has a option for this, but you can also do it via CSS:
#banner.with-transparent-header .search-container {
    padding: 90px 0;
}

Awesome. By the way, you have an amazing product and thank you so much for the quick responses. I really appreciate it. Cheers!

Hi there,

still awaiting a reply for my email I sent you please can you respond asap, its pretty important. thanks

Hi, I’m sorry! I missed that somehow, I just replied to it.

Hi Lukas, Thanks for getting back to me.

I am currently using the WooCommerce – Social Login plugin which I found suggested in reading through the support comments. In the comment it mentioned that you could supply a quick fix in order to achieve the social login within the signup and login modal / popup.

Please advise.

I replied to your email, please continue there. Thanks!

Hi, hope you can help me.. How do i switch off the button: post a job, it’s free, because with “in Appearance -> Customize -> Jobs” i can’t do that! Thank in advance.

You are using Job Categories Page Template for that page, so it’s not jobs archive page. For this one you need to edit file template-jobcategories.php and remove the button from there (lines 31-34)

Thx…works :)

Hi there, Can I add one more field in the homepage banner search bar? I would like to add category drop-down select in the search bar of the homepage instead of the browse button. So the the search will be by “job title”, “city” and “category”. Thanks

Thank you for your reply. May I know when is the next update please? I would like to buy the theme as soon as possible. Thanks

I’m working on it right now, so today or tomorrow :)

Great :) Thanks

Hi,

I bought this theme few days ago. I’m working on it and for now I have two questions:

1) I want to change height of input field on home page. I found this in style.css class name .search-container input but when I change padding and update file and reload everything the style is same? But in style.css is changed.

2) Is there any possibility to put one more input field like first is job title, keywords… second one city, province or region and to make new one like categories and to put all categories in that input field like select field (drop down)? So can I change this with wordpress editor or I must go into code and make new things?

That’s all for now thanks :)

1) I resolved but I don’t know how :D Like I clicked few things in page editor now it’s changed. But still if there is something that I need to know please tell me.

1) is working 100% so only 2….

Hi

it’s a little more complicated but I’m planning to add an option to have more fields for search on home page, maybe even I’ll add it for the upcoming udpate this week

Hi. Is there a way to show only max salary on the job listing feed? Thing is most employers –at least in México– won’t fill in a range but an offered salary. My idea was to hide the min salary field and translate max salary as just salary in Spanish, but if only max salary is filled it won’t show on the feed.

Would appreciate your help figuring this out.

Other solution (maybe easier to implement) would be that if only min salary gets filled only min salary is displayed, if only max salary gets filled only max salary is displayed and if both are filled both are displayed. That implementation could prove useful for all your customer base…

I’m planning update this week so I’ll address this issue, thanks for the feedback!

OK, so I updated and the way you solved the salary/salary range issue was great. Thanks a lot, that will be very useful.

I came across a couple of issues/bugs though:

- On Mobile Safari a tiny white gap appears on the right side of the page: https://cl.ly/kgSk (you can spot it by comparing the page width with Safari’s address bar in that image). If I disable my child theme and enable the parent theme problem is still there: https://cl.ly/kh2n So it isn’t my custom styling. - Also as you can see from that image the category dropdown has different styling, maybe is Safari trying to use it’s native styling. - About the category dropdown a little feedback: would be great if instead of the first category it has placeholder text translatable from PO/MO files or even customizable from WordPress customizer. Just an idea. - The “keywords” placeholder text on the job search bar isn’t translatable, it was on the previous version but I couldn’t translate it this time.

Hope this is useful. I’m very pleased with this theme. Keep the good work.

The categories box no longer appears with this shortcode [jobs show_pagination = 1]

What should I do to get back in? Thanks

This shortcode is for displaying list of jobs, to show categories box you need to use this http://kb.purethemes.net/article/20-boxjobcategories (or Visual Composer element)

Hi, I have already purchase de theme but I want to upload all the sample demo content, even the slide of “Find a job” like the Home #5 example. Also de menu footer, categories of the jobs, filters, etc.

This is our URL http://talentorhggalimentos.com/

Thanks

Just use the Setup Wizard – it starts after first theme activation, but if you have cancelled it you can find it in Appearance -> Setup Wizard – this will install demo content (but the images are heavily blurred versions as we can’t include original)

Hi there, is the payment gateway from Mollie working on this template? I need this for Ideal payments

Hi

it uses WooCommerce and there is Mollie plugin for it https://wordpress.org/plugins/mollie-payments-for-woocommerce/

Thanks. Yes i did the same and it’s alright now. Please consider changing your 404 page and make it modern like 1- http://prntscr.com/farqds 2- http://prntscr.com/farqmr

If possible consider changing the style sheet of job listings and resume listings like 1- http://prntscr.com/fas00q

Hi

thanks but if you need theme customization I can recommend https://wpkraken.io/?ref=purethemes

Hi,

If you upload resume file and that is not properly visible on candidate profile because it’s just showing the file name it suppose to be a box like download resume or resume file that’s all. i don’t know how to explain that’s why i attached 3 photos first one is from your theme and if you will compare all photos you will understand what i mean.

1- http://prntscr.com/fai7s0 2- http://prntscr.com/fai8gn 3- http://prntscr.com/fai8vu

You should consider this change and for the job categories on the homepage it suppose to show statistics with each job category like number of jobs available in that categories like these photos.

1- http://prntscr.com/faib30 2- http://prntscr.com/faibjs

Thanks

Hi

ad1) You can just change in single-resume.php in line 52 the <?php echo basename( $resume_file ); ?> to ‘Download CV’ – thing is user might upload more than one file, so you can have more than one Download CV which makes less sense

ad2) You can already to that by setting jobs_counter=”yes” to the shortcode that displays categories (or switch it in Visual Composer)

Hi there, I will probably buy this theme. But please add some design-variations to jobs-listings-templates. Pretty much all themes look the same boring way, using the same structure…. e.g. Appthemes´HireBee looks different, colorful, efficient and although good…. However Appthemes´ support and quality su..s ...Jobify is a design trivial and SEO nightmare…. and I could go through all the other JobBoard Themes…. yours seems to be the only reasonable solution… but please work on your design and usability.

Not everybody that wants to post a job has a logo or a photo to share… and in that case of no photo upload, almost every Wp Job Manager based theme looks baah.

Another issue which dramaticaly disturbes me… why would you need to show a big map on top of the listings, or elsewhere??? Have you ever searched for jobs? People don´t care so much about the exact location when they search for jobs… there are realy other things that matter and should gain more eye-catching-attention. A map is useful when you visit the single-listings page and thats it.

I worked on your demo-site via web-developer extension to try different style. This is what I have done https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bx9FgdK0uiWTYnRLdzdNNFdoejg/view?usp=drivesdk ... but I am sure you can do it even better.

or why not learn from the best and try displaying things this way: https://www.glassdoor.de/Job/m%C3%BCnchen-jobs-SRCH_IL.0,7_IC4990924_SAMV.htm I now, glassdoor.de is a masterpiece. But I am sure you can do something similar to this too and drive your sales up through the roof.

Regards, Wilhelm

Hi Wilhelm

thank you for your feedback.

The map is optional and you can easily turn it off, just like many other elements in the theme.

The fact that a WP Job Manager based themes share similar elements is exactly because they are all based on the same plugin so it’s not possible to avoid some of this similarities . We did a lot of work to move the filters to sidebar and add new custom filters, which none of other themes for WPJM does.

The layout you showed is however far from our vision of the theme, so I’m afraid we’re not going to change it that way. However, after almost 2 years of working with WPJM, we might try to develop our own solution for job boards from the scratch, so maybe we’ll use some of those ideas.

Thanks again

Hello and thanks for your reply.

Now I am getting curious :-) ... How much time do you think you might need to release it?

It still just an idea, probably for late 2018 or even 2019 with my current workload

Hi

First of all you don’t have Purchased badge on your comment, please verify your purchase if you wish to get any support

Hi Lukas, This is continued our discussion that since 10 days i have been trying to find out problem of when i post job it is not automatically taking lat and long. It is happening i’m manually updating Geo_location values from admin section and i tried following to find issue.

1. Disabled api domain restriction on google console 2. Followed your workscout documentation to create api and enabled those five services. 3. Installed theme on localhost (Xampp) and tried posting job to check if it’s working on localhost.

Unfortunately none of the above things have worked for me. Please i need your help ..

It is not working for both “default location input come in theme” and also to “predefined regions”

also i tried deactivating extra plugins in my wordpress which are not recommended to check if they conflicting, but it too not worked for me

Hi

the geolocation in backend is handled by wp-job-manager/includes/class-wp-job-manager-geocode.php – it should throw errors if the geolocation wasn’t successful, so please check your error logs.

I can assure you that it works on my test site, and no one else reported any issue with that recently.

Ok great.. thank you!

Hi, I had a question regarding the theme… instead of the Employers paying to pots the job… we would like the Candidates to pay to access the jobs… Also the name of the company should not be there just job description… is that possible with the theme or any added plugin? Thank you…

Hi

you can do something like that using this add-on https://plugins.smyl.es/wp-job-manager-visibility/?v=9b7d173b068d

Hi Thank you… what about this point – instead of the Employers paying to post the job… we would like the Candidates to pay to access the jobs…

That’s what this plugin does when active with WC Paid Listing, please read the description :)
