Is there a way to make the template work as a catalog where people offer their skills, professions or talents to other people so that they can hire them? ... For example, I am an electrician and offer my services to any person or company that May need me for a price that can be agreed in advance. I have not yet bought the template but I am thinking of doing it to start a business online. Thanks in advance.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

The main purpose of Jobify is to make a Job Board website. Something like this might be able to be accomplished but would require some custom work to achieve. All depending on the complexity of your project.

You can let Professionals submit their profile using the default job submission form and allow users to contact them to hire them.

You might want to check out our Listify theme where you can list professionals and allow users to view their profile. Listify is more flexible with creating a directory for users. See here where you can compare your options.

Let me know if you have further questions!

Hello, I have purchased the theme. It is very nice. Thank you!

I want to run a website that provides jobs and accommodations listings for backpackers. Can I have two separate job boards, one for jobs and the other one for accommodations? I am happy with the current functions for the job board and I think changing some of the wordings will make it fine for listing accommodations as well. I would like the two “job boards” serving different purposes to work independently. Is that possible?

Or shall I install a listing plugin instead for the accommodations part? I was not aware of the Listify theme when I purchased Jobify. But since I want the job searching as the major function of my website, I prefer keep using Jobify. What would you recommend? Thanks.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today.

Currently, Jobify will allow you to create a Job Board website. Jobify is not meant to be used an accommodation listing website as it was not built to be used for accommodations.

Your best option would be using Jobify as the job board website and creat e WordPress Multisite environment where you can install another theme like Listify to provide a Listing Accommodation counterpart.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando

Thank for your reply!

Using multisite sound good! I prefer using Jobify as I like the look and functions of it and want to keep my sites looking consistent. If I use Jobify themes in both sites under the multisite network, will the job boards work independently? Can I customise one of the sites to be used for accommodations? The users can post or apply for jobs in one site and as well post or look for accommodations in another site. Cheers.

Yes, the job board will work independently. The listing counterpart will also work independently but your users can access either of the sites.

Yes, using Jobify for one of the sites you can allow users to apply for jobs and using the other that uses Listify users can look at accommodations.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

how do i update to the latest version of rev slider that was included with this theme?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Jobify is not bundled with any slider plugins. I would go to the plugin page and get the latest version of the slider.

Hope this helps.

Hi, I’ve purchased this theme under my client’s account. I’m wondering if I can change the field title “PROFESSIONAL TITLE” on the submit resume page to something else, and if so, how? Thanks!

Hello there,

Yes, it is possible to do so.

You can make changes to the default theme and plugin texts using the SayWhat plugin. Using the domain “wp-job-manage-resumes” you should be able to make the change.

If you need further assistance, please contact us through support!

Can I still edit jobs from wp-admin or all can only be done from wp job manager.

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

Question: Can I still edit jobs from wp-admin or all can only be done from wp job manager.

Answer: As admin, you can edit jobs from the front-end and back-end. Regular Employers only have front-end access.

Question: Will existing job automatically be added to jobify

Answer: If the job is added through WP Job Manager, yes it will be added automatically.

Question: Does it work with yoast seo?

Answer: Yes, you can use Yoast SEO with Jobify.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

The job is added via job roller job board; will that work??

Job Roller is a WordPress theme. When using our Jobify theme you will need the WP Job Manager plugin in order to add Jobs.

Hope this helps.

I just bought jobify and need help. For the registration pop up there is only option for employer and customer. I don’t see one for candidate. Thats what i’m looking for.

Hey again! :)

Hi! Just installed WP Job Manager – WooCommerce Paid Listings. Is there a way to customize the widget Page: Price Table? I’m stuck in a three column layout (need 2 or 4), and might want to change the sorting. Just using CSS sadly won’t work here. Thank you!

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well.

At this moment the Pricing page allows a Max of 3 columns per row. Adding additional column will place it in a new row. This can’t be altered by default without modifications to the default template, unfortunately.

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hi, I use listify and jobify with the plugin “Extended Location for WP Job Manager”. Listify offers “Autocomplete for Locations”, jobify does not. Is this wanted? Or is there a way to enable or use Autocomplete?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today.

Although Listify offers this feature out of the box. Jobify at this time does not offer such a feature, unfortunately. The Extended Locations plugin does not offer this feature as it was built on the Listify theme by default.

Hope this answers your question.

Cheers! Fernando

Can you please list some website that have used this theme?

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well!

You can see a list of Jobify website here.

Hope this helps.

1. When applying for a job, the application is sent to the email entered on the Email field, and isn’t received by the employer who posted the job ad.

2. When posting a job ad, the location field is set to Optional. Is it possible to convert the Location field to required?

3. In the log in POP-up form, the site requires a captcha to be submitted but there’s no captcha that can be seen.

4. How do you create a “Contact Us” form?

5. When installing Jobify, the default theme is Classic. When changing to Extended, a lot of features weren’t imported and some features overlap. Is there a possible way to install the Extended theme cleanly?

Hello! I need a wordpress theme for real estate (sale and rental of real estate) that under the thumbnails appears the value of the property, number of rooms and parking spaces. And after clicking on the thumbnail, open the details of the property and if possible the map of your location. 1) Will your theme be able to make a beautiful site in this way? 2) Could you send me the link for an example of this?

Hugs

Hi there,

Saw your comment in our Listify board. For something like this Listify would be your best choice. Check out my response to your other comment.

Fernando

apologies if I missed this, but is there a defined list of the premium plug-ins

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

You can see a list of the main plugins compatible with Jobify. Please see here.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Your recent Jobify theme update seems to break WP Job Manager upload photo functionality. Switching back to old theme or default Wordpress theme resolves issue. Believe the latest release (3.7.1) may have fixed this issue, however. I am still testing.

Hi there!

Let us know if you find anything. We will also look into this.

Thanks,

Fernando

I will 3rd the comment that as of two updates ago (3.7.0), all new jobs in the list (front end and backend) are displaying a location of “anywhere” but do list the location when editing a job. I’ve had 4 jobs posted since May 26, 2017 that this has affected.

I fixed this by reinstalling WooCommerce which appears to be dependent for displayed location estimation

Hi there,

Also, make sure you have added a new API key under Job Listings>Settings to ensure addresses are showing up on your website.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hi, This theme has been brilliant until the latest update – unfortunately its caused all sorts of errors with our jobs importing (xml via wp all import), as well as removing the predefined regions from the jobs themselves (and a few style issues as well)

Rolled back to before 3.7 for now (errors occurred with complete fresh install as well as updates)

Thanks

Hi there,

I would contact the WP All Import team for assistance with their plugin.

Regarding the Jobs Location, you will need to create a new API key for your Job settings under Job Listings>Settings.

This new key needs the “Key Restrictions” to be set to “None”. Also make sure to enable the Geocoding, Geolocation and Javascript APIs.

Adding this key under the API settings in Job Listings>Settings will resolve your issue!

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi,

pre-defined job regions still don’t work unfortunately, also the import no longer works due to the columns being renamed (this is due to ‘jobify_ prefix being added to a number of areas of the database, which has stopped some of our custom work as well)

I’ll try the woocomerce solution as mentioned before – but unfortunately it seems like pre-defined job regions just don’t play ball anymore (as well as company logos on the job columns) which means we cant update for now.

Thanks so far though!

Pre sale question. The majority of job seekers browse and apply for jobs using Mobile Phones. 1) Is it possible or is there a plugin that allows “Apply with Dropbox”. Click button, locate resume stored in dropbox and upload . 2) Or, Apply with resume stored in google drive/cloud. Same scenario.

Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, there is currently no add-on available to allow “Apply with Dropbox/Google Drive”. WP Job Manager does not have a compatible add-on for this at this time.

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Kind regards,

Fernando
