How do I change the Currency globally to GBP (£). I am just using the standard theme, not the Shop.
Actually nevermind, I found it from a previous comment in Settings->Portfolio->Currency
Yep, that’s the correct answer. Kind regards!

Here you have the custom code you should paste into Bakery > Custom Code:
.tabs-big-container .vu_pi-price .woocommerce-price-suffix {
display: block;
text-transform: none;
line-height: 1.2;
}
Kind regards
How to add currency format (need comma and dot) on portfolio item price. Im using Rupiah, the smallest ammout is 1.000. Any files to override from child themes?
You do not need to override anything. Simply specify your currency and value at Price field inside Portfolio Item Settings.
Kind regards
Hello. I just purchased bakery theme and i want to use it for my online shop. I have a small problem with woo commerce templates because are outdated. Can you help me with an update for that files?
Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for your purchase! That’s because the theme is not yet compatible with the latest WooCommerce version. Please leave us an email here and the support team will help you out.
Thanks and cheers
How can I reverse the scroll direction of the vu_parallax-container on pages? I want it to show the top of the background image first, and scroll to the bottom of the image as the user scrolls down in the page.
Thank you
To change that please replace this file with the current file on ‘wp-content/themes/bakery/assets/scripts’.
Warm regards
That seems to make the revolution slider on the homepage disappear (id=rev_slider_2_1_wrapper) and did not reverse the direction of the vu_parallax-container on pages.
Please provide us your site URL so we can investigate the issue more closely.
hi I am a new year and i was installing this template according to instructions but i was unable to import the demo files but the auto process was not able to install the demo files (WB post and Pages) so i was trying to do that manually but don’t know where to get the demo contents xml fine, can you please get me the file for demo post and pages it will be great help to make the sate as the display demo.
Hi,
Probably that happened due to your lower max_time_execution limit. The demo files are hosted on an external link so please leave us a message here along with your purchase code and we will send back you the demo content download link.
Thanks and cheers
How do I resize the vertical height of the “top-section” class? Thanks.
You can change the height of that area by using the code below in Bakery > Custom Code:
.full-header-container {
height: 400px !important;
}
Is the Bakery theme coded according to Standards For Good Coding as defined by the makers of WordPress? I’m looking to buy a WYSIWYG plugin called Divi, but want to be sure it will play nicely with the Bakery theme.
Thanks
Of course, the theme complies with the latest best coding standards. Divi is a popular multi purpose theme and looks that you want to buy a plugin that is compatible with it. Considering this I am afraid that the plugin will play nicely with the theme.
Thanks and cheers
Hi there,
I’m using the Bakery theme with the Visual Composer. Is there a way to create multiple Order Forms that offer different products/services within the provided Order Form functionality?
Thank you!
Hi,
Unfortunately that’s currently not possible. We will add this in our to-do list and implement in the upcoming theme updates.
Thanks and cheers
Hello,
I’m trying to customize my website, currently working on a “menu” menu. you can take a look at it http://sweetcoziness.com/ if that will help better understand my question My idea is to have under the menu, the following items as shown below like this:
“Menu”
Cakes Bread Candies
etc. My idea is to use “Menu-grid” stile/page for all these subcategories (cakes, bread,candies, etc. ) as I like it the most. What would be the easiest way to use “Menu-grid” page as a template for all subcategories under “Menu” menu ? Permalinks have to be unique for each subcategory. Hope that makes sense to you, sorry I’m not a web designer and new to WP.
Thanks !
Hello,
You should simply use the Menu Item shortcode with Grid style chosen in the Menu page. After setting up the category image and description you can specify the URL link to the respective category page eg. http://sweetcoziness.com/menu/bread/.
Thanks and cheers
Hello, thank you for the response to my last inquiry about the next update to the bakery theme.
By looking through the comment section, I seem to be experiencing an issue that others have had as well.
For products in the shop that utilize the +/- quantity updater, it generally displays multiple +/- options on each side of the numeral quantity field.
Sometimes it will display correctly, sometimes it displays multiple. This even carries over to the cart itself. So it will also display multiple +/- in the cart overview to update all items within the cart.
From all of the comments within this section regarding this same issue, I see that you typically require the site link to view. So i’m providing the link to a product within the site along with 2 other links of screen captures because I have found in the past that some issues don’t seem to always show them-self when needed. So I am supplying this as well to help expedite any assessments/resolutions that you may have in mind.
Product link on site https://www.tappups.com/annual-spring-show/ Screen Captures of the issue https://www.tappups.com/images/TP_screencapture_v1.jpg https://www.tappups.com/images/TP_screencapture_v2.jpgI have tested this out in many different circumstances from versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, modifying CSS, fresh installs, all the way to different servers and so on always with the same result.
I have some custom CSS added in for some of the “input” tags within the build of the site, but this does not affect whether or not there is duplicate displays of the +/-
Thank you for your attention regarding this matter.
Thom
Hi Thom,
Yeah, that’s a known issue for us. Please download this file here and replace it with wp-content/themes/bakery/assets/scripts/woocommerce.js.
Thanks and cheers
Hey there! I love this theme. It has made my client sooooo happy. I’m wondering if it’s okay for me to update WooCommerce (because it’s a pretty substantial update) or if I should wait until I have an update for the theme.
Please let me know. Thank you!
Hey bjbowen,
So glad you and your client are loving our theme. The theme is not yet compatible with the latest version of WooCommerce so you should better wait until the theme update comes live. Just make sure to check “Get notified by email if this item is updated” option from your Downloads tab.
Best regards
Question. I like how when I hover over a product and click the ‘add to cart’ button it doesn’t refresh page and keeps current position on the page. How can I keep the same behavior with a custom add to cart button? See ‘Add to Cart’ button here – http://51d.811.myftpupload.com/thumann-products
Hi Nathaniel,
You should add ‘add_to_cart_button’ and ‘ajax_add_to_cart’ classes to the button as well as some other attributes to the anchor tag like the example below:
<a rel="nofollow" href="/shop/?add-to-cart=778" data-quantity="1" data-product_id="778" data-product_sku="" class="button add_to_cart_button ajax_add_to_cart">Add to cart</a>
Kind regards
That worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
Glad for that. You’re very welcome!
In the Bakery settings under Map, I see that I can select a map style. How do I then embed this map style with the location I specified, into my site?
You should first insert Map shortcode in your page. If you want to use the settings specified at Bakery > Contact there is nothing more to do; the location, map style and all other settings will be inherited from theme options. Cheers!
Hi,
I have translated the bakery.pot file in french with POEdit and transfered bakery-fr_FR.po and bakery-fr_FR.mo files to bakery-child ->languages directory. But it doesn’t work… Can you help me please ? Thanks.
Hi,
You don’t need to place the translated files under the child theme folder. You should leave them in the language main theme folder. Please see more details here.
Cheers
Hi, It does not work either when i place the translated files in the language main theme folder…
Hi again,
Could you please send us your WP & FTP details via here so we can investigate the issue more closely.
Thanks in advance
Just sent. Thank you for your help.
Thanks! We’ll get back to you shortly.
We are struggling to get the ratings to work for our product reviews. The from shows, but not the ratings. We have gone thru the documentation and have not been able to find the issue. We have reviews and ratings enabled, we updated the theme and the plugins, really not sure what the issue is.
Hi there,
That could happen due to any theme and WooCommerce compatibility issues. Please first provide us your site URL so we can have a closer look at that and then get back to you with a more exact and definitive answer.
Thanks
development site is alpine.nmdbuilder.com.
Just took a look at the live site but couldn’t notice anything wrong. The ratings seem to be working fine: http://alpine.nmdbuilder.com/product/caramel-sea-salt-chews-24-piece/#comment-53?! Thanks and cheers!
There are no rating – it lets us submit a form – but the ratings do not work. So we can review – but not rate.
Did you check the link above? The rating and review are saved but waiting for approval…
We are all good – thank you. we found a CSS issue that we adjusted.
Glad for that. You’re very welcome!
Hey, I got all of the live demo installed. I am trying to build my site around the forms provided. I tried to test the order form and contact form to send to my Gmail but it is not appearing. Are there any extra steps in order to have the forms to successfully send to my email? Also, I will like to have the product images to open an order form such as the demo but I cannot figure it out. Please Help
Hey there,
1. First make sure to specify an email address that ends with your host like info@yourdomain.com at Bakery > Contact > From. If that still does not work then try to replace line 155 of wp-content/pluging/bakery-cpt/shortcodes/order-form.php file:
$headers = 'From: '. $email . "\n". 'Reply-To: '. $email ."\n";
with the following:
$headers = 'From: youremail@yourdomain.com' . "\n". 'Reply-To: '. $email ."\n";
2. Make sure to insert the products from Portfolio > Add new and enable ordering from Bakery > Order Form > Ordering.
Kind regards
Does it only work with my host email? I will like to use my company Gmail account.
You can try to enter a host email even if you don’t use it. Or you can get WP Mail SMTP plugin to replace the in-built contact form configuration.
