Jobify Structured Data JobPosting mark up has a lot of critical errors from Google. I hope the developers will fix this issue because this is a coding issue. Example, errors from Google: “Missing or invalid field: hiringOrganization.name (Critical issue)”, “Missing or invalid field: jobLocation (Critical issue)”, “Missing or invalid field: datePosted (Critical issue)”, “Missing or invalid field: jobLocation.address (Critical issue)”. This is a not a support issue but more on effective coding. I hope the developers know about this issue. Screenshot: https://www.screencast.com/t/ZWSeshkoFY5w thanks.
Hello there!
Thanks for reaching out to us with this,
Can you confirm you are using the most up to date version of our theme? Also making sure your plugins are up to date. We have been always making sure every update there are no critical errors with the themes structured data.
Nonetheless, I will bring this up to our team to review and see what we can do.
Kind regards,
Fernando
hello, I have the latest version of the theme. I saw that you have an existing markup for Job but Google has a strict guidelines on this. Please see the screenshot I gave so you will have an idea with of the items are missing on your codes. Thanks!
I’m trying to improve the flow of my site, could you tell me how i change the Add to Cart buttons on the pricing and plans page to Get Started like on your live demo. Thanks
I purchased this theme a couple of years ago, without much luck with SEO I’ve now employed an SEO agency to work on the site. But I’m keen to improve the flow and features. The new demo looks better. Can I upgrade or do I need to purchase again? Also If I were to upgrade would i lose all the customisations and content? Thanks
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today and thank you for reaching out!
1)If you have our Listing Payments plugin or the WC Paid Listings plugin, you can direct the pricing page to direct users to the submission form. This can be set from within Listings>Settings Pages.
2) You can improve the features by updating the theme. You can download the latest release from your ThemeForest downloads. As long as you have a child theme you can update your theme without losing all customizations and content.
Hope this helps.
Fernando

Why the contact employer form is not filled with candidate info if the candidate already signed in?
Hello there,
This is a feature that can be enabled with the Resume Manager plugin. Once a user signs up and creates a resume submission, you can apply with the resume profile. This is enabled within the settings.
See here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/resume-manager/#section-6
Hope this helps!

Your video about Google Maps API Key is outdated. The part where you talk about Browser Key in the video is no longer in the steps to get the Google Maps API Key. Please tell me the steps on how to get Google Maps API Key for Jobify, I spent an hour trying your steps but it doesn’t work. Please help!
Hi there!
With the most recent updates with Google and WP Job Manager, there have been some changes to the requirements of creating an API key.
When you create a new API key, make sure you set the “Key Restrictions” for your key to “none” and enable the Geocoding, Geolocation, and Javascript APIs. From there add the keys under Appearance>Customize>Jobs>Map Settings and Job Listings>Settings.
This should resolve any issue you experience.

You can signup for our 7-day host trial free and test out the features the theme has. See here: https://astoundify.com/hosted/
As for the job listings, they only appear in list format and not in Grids.

Just purchased this theme for a second website and no child theme seems to be available in the package.
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today!
Please follow the Getting Started Setup Guide. Once you follow the steps and begin to import the Demo content, the Child Theme will be created for you. This happens when you import either the Classic or Extended demo content.
Hope this helps!

Does Jobify sends notification in the my account section to the employer whenever a employee applies for the job.
P.S : By email it is possible using contact form 7 but I want to understand there is a notification in my account area whenever an new application is received.
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today.
You can use Contact Form 7 to allow users to submit applications. The submission will be emailed to the user. Out of the box there is no notification system within the My account page. An email will be sent out only.
If yo wish to add an Application dashboard you can use the Applications Add-on. Where users can view applications within the website.
Hope this helps!

Does Jobify allow job seekers to subscribe for notification of new job postings on the entire website or by a particular employer or company ?
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today!
Using the Alerts add-on you can allow users to create alerts when there is a new job that matches their search criteria. This way when they get a match they are emailed.
Hope this helps!

GD! Does the theme and pre-built pages can be edited with Visual Composer?
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out!
Jobify out of the box comes with pre-built page templates. Although they can be edited through the settings, there is no support for Visual Composer at this time.
Sorry about that.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just thought that I’d leave a quick comment.
I purchased this theme for a client website about a month ago.
As a regular Wordpress developer, I did think that the way many of the page templates were built was a little strange. (In this theme, many page templates use a widgetised approach). So for me, I found it a little cumbersome to customise, and had to write a bunch of code to make it work the way I’m used to working with Wordpress.
The Testimonial area was in my opinion very limiting and didn’t allow for customers to post testimonials in the front end, which I thought was a bit lacking. But that was solved by using CPTUI and Advanced custom fields to create a custom post type. I then used FormidablePro to create forms that allowed logged-in users to create posts with the appropriate fields.
However…. if you weren’t interested in a lot of customisation – perhaps you’re a business owner and just want an instant job board, Jobify is perfect.
There’s plenty of really simple settings in the Customiser, and you don’t need to be a Wordpress Expert to work it out.
The main functionality (once you have purchased all the relevant WP Job Manager plugins and installed your Google Maps Api Key), works exactly as advertised.
So with those things in mind, I’m happy to recommend this theme.
But I haven’t even mentioned the best part – the support was awesome! Really fast response (less than 3 hours in my case) and polite, informative and useful info. Cheers, Fernando, you’re a star!
Hi there!
Thanks for the comment and feedback! We greatly appreciate it!

Hi, just a quick questions ! Are you theme and plugins compatible with the latest version of WordPress and should I update everything ?
Hello there!
Yes, our theme and plugins are compatible with the latest WordPress release. Please feel free to update to the latest update. Also, always make sure to have the latest theme and plugin releases for your website!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hey, just a quick question pre-purchase.
I saw in the images that the theme has unlimited use (100% GPL). Does this mean that although I’m buying the regular license, I can use it as much as I want?
Thanks, Sam
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well Sam!
The Theme itself and the images that get imported with the theme, are 100% GPL. So you will be able to use theme multiple times!
If you have multiple projects, you can use them to create multiple websites.
Hope this answers your question!

Hi, I am still having problems with all jobs showing as ‘Anywhere’ even after getting a new Google API. Please advise ASAP, this is making my website look terrible.
Hi there,
You will need to create a NEW API key dedicated to the API field found under Job Listings>Settings. This key needs to have the “Key Restriction” setting set to “None”. You do not need to create HTTP Referrers. Also, enable the appropriate APIs.
Once created Add the key only under Job Listings>Settings and it will resolve your issue.

Hi,
I updated to the latest version of your theme and WordPress 4.8 and the styling for reviewing job applicants seems to be broken https://i.imgur.com/hQAxuVd.png
will there be a new update soon?
Thanks!
Hi there!
Yes, we are already looking into this and will release a fix in the next theme update! Stay tuned.
Fernando
any idea when the next theme update is coming to fix the above issues?
pre-sale question: Can companies view applicants and search on them based on skills or other similar keywords?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today!
At this time, the Resume Manager plugin allows filtering of jobs like in our demo.
Hope this helps!

I am very much intrest to buy this theme. But, before i have a doubt. Is this theme really fullfil my needs or not. If it fullfils my below needs, i am ready to buy now… Here are that…
1. Registered user only access to view resumes, jobs… 2. I want to a create a membership levels…
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today!
Question: 1. Registered user only access to view resumes, jobs
Answer: Out of the box only the Candidate pages have a visibility restriction that can be set according to a user’s roles. There is nothing in place out of the box for jobs. It can be implemented using the Restrict Content Pro but not out of the box.
Question: 2. I want to a create a membership levels…
Answer: You can create membership levels using Restrict Content Pro. You can also try creating Listing Packages for submitting jobs or resumes.
Hope this helps!
