Hello. Quick question about this theme. Is the Top Bar a WP nav_menu? Or is it limited to what can be placed in it?

Thank you for the great theme. Although we have some troubles with the mobile and tablet view of our videos. We imported MP4 formats as “Feature Element” in our portfolio items, but they only work on the desktop view… We optimized every single video for web, but we couldn’t find any solution yet. Did we miss something?

About the videos on mobiles, unfortunately, there is nothing to be fixed or changed as this is not a theme-related issue. Web browsers on devices do not support HTML videos. That is why we have included the option to use a background image that will be shown in devices. Additionally, background videos don’t have controls and Apple has disabled autoplay for HTML videos due to bandwidth. Hope this makes sense!

Hello! Is it possible to vertical align content in column? Cant find such options!

By default the column content is being aligned on the top. You can also align it in the middle under Inner columns. In case you are looking for an option to vertical align content in column independently (bottom for example), there is no such option. That would be very easy for us as we already provide this in our latest theme, Zuperla – http://docs.euthemians.com/tutorials/column-options-in-zuperla/ – which offers one of the most advanced grid systems in the marketplace. However, it is really too risky for us to modify the grid system of Fildisi as it is a theme with almost 500 live installations. Shortly, it is easy to be added but it requires code modifications that will possible harm the existing content in several live sites. Thanks for your understanding on this matter!

Yes, sure you can have what you see on the first page of our demo. The only exception is the right button (Why Fildisi) which was created via the child theme for demonstration purposes (we share this code with our lovely customers). Hi,
I’m using the Scrolling Full Page Sections style with a Full Width Background video. How can I enable the sound? Can I add video controls (pause/play, mute, etc.)? The video must still be full width.
Instead, I also tried to just embed the video using YouTube (with autoplay and video controls enabled) but I’m unable to scroll to the next slide—it stops working. Another problem with this method is the video controls at the bottom are cut off. If I resize the video to fit in height then it becomes too small in width with black bars on both sides. I don’t mind stretching it a little but I’m unable to do this either.
Please help…

Hi, my support has expired, but I think I found a bug. So could you take a look? Here goes…
I use extra large images on a three column setup of icon boxes. This looks great on mobile, and on desktop (even on landscape ipad). But on portrait ipad, and probably landscape mode on big mobile phones, the images gets squashed to squares.

I think that you are just using the icon box in a wrong way. There are other elements for such usage (image, image text, media box) since you need images.

Thanks! Media box works much better. Sry for the bother. Also, I can’t post in the support forum because my support has expired. I started working with this back in january, but my client got breast cancer so everything was put on hold. Now she is back in form, and the work can proceed. If I run into a lot of trouble I’ll renew the support fee.

Minor thing, just want to make sure I haven’t missed anything: is there a parallax option for a background image in page title area? Can’t find it… if it does exist..
I think that you must enable and use the Feature section for such effects instead of the default page title. Hope that helps!

Hi, the Ticksy support forum doesn’t work (atm), so I’ll post here instead. Its just a feature request… here it is:
When I use the dropcap block I can’t format that text with links and other stuff. So its a bit limited. And then I thought, why not implement the dropcap function in the textblock settings? For example as a fourth option to “Text style” (after None, Leader and Subtitle).
Just a thought to make it possible to use dropcap in a more varied way. I hope you’ll consider it for the future.

I am not quite sure if we can do this as the Dropcap is a separate element with several settings. I also think that you can easily add a link in the dropcap text with simple HTML like:

Yes, there is an issue in the WP 4.8.1 with the VC 5.2. There will be an update in the next days in which the newest version of VC (5.2.1) will be included. In case you need the newest VC before the next theme release, open a ticket in our Support Forum.

Hi, in the modals there is an option to customize the color from Light to Dark. Dark is a black background. How do we change that color?

For this page we use the Scrolling Full Screen Sections template. You could have a read at the following article: Full Page Scroll. You can indeed add the content you wish via the Visual Composer and have video as background. Ι have to add that I do not know if you will have any performance issues though if you overdo it.

Just before I buy, I noticed an error on the gallery page, when you view on tablet, you are left with a blank space as they’re doesn’t appear to be enough images, however on desktop, the image count is fine. Is this editable in the theme?

On this, check on tablet and desktop. On tablet you are left with blank space, but if you added another photo, you would get blank space on desktop.
Do you mean the last gallery there? This is the masonry gallery – http://docs.euthemians.com/tutorials/usage-of-the-handcrafted-fildisi-elements/#gallery – where you can specify the columns per device. However, you cannot have different image items per media screen in order to avoid the blank spaces. This is how masonry works – https://isotope.metafizzy.co/layout-modes/masonry.html . You need the classic grid for this, check the first gallery on the same page.

The images are resized to 1920×820 – instead of retaining the original upload size. Now do you know what I mean?
This is exactly what I answered before. The images are being resized when you upload these based on the theme image sizes. Then, you can select among the available sizes in the portfolio element (check the related article). Maybe you are missing the fact that with the usage of the original upload sizes, your site will have multiple load issues. Looks like a great theme, and that it’ll work very well for the client.
Just a quick couple questions if you don’t mind: 1 – In the Features List, there is mentioned “Top Bar Header Elements”. Is this referring to the option to have a ‘bar’ above the logo and main menu, that can hold widgets, for example, or at least be configured to present contact information, etc, in theme settings? 2 – Would it be possible to add a background image to the footer and/or copyright areas? Or at least to the copyright section, and to set a large margin for this. I’ll be using the child theme, and assume there’s place for custom css in Appearance/Customize? Also the center all content on the copyright footer section?
