You need to get icon names from font awesome site. With the new update you will just select the icon. No need to write its name.

I am having trouble with the video background. I uploaded a video to You Tube and changed the settings to video background. I must be doing something wrong. Are there more thorough directions for adding a video background somewhere?

You can add social media links to only footer. You can enter them via Royal theme options panel.

You can add Youtube video background from Site Sections. Add new section and select “Section Content” as “Parallax Video” and enter Youtube Video ID.

This is the home page. In the Dashboard > Settings > Reading what do I put there? I have selected the Home page I created. When I add a new section, under the “Section Content” my options are the pages I created. I see no “Parallax Video” option. Hello, unfortunately the map problem is still existing. There is no map shown. I deactivated the contact 7 form – nothing happens…. And by trying to use the native theme contact form even this is not visible on the page.

It is responsive. Bg image fits by its height on the screen to avoid empty spaces.

I know it’s supposed to be responsive, but it’s not actually scaling on mobile devices I’m testing.

You can use your desired dimensions of images.

The problem with that is the image don’t seem to properly in the header section if it’s larger than 110×25. . Perhaps that is related to the other part of the question: How do I change the Royal logo in the upper left corner of the home page prior to scrolling?

There is not a width-height restriction in theme CSS. Can you send me a test url to see what the problem is?

Please, use 25-40px height logo or fix the style.css in wp-admin like that:

Thank you for the solution, but you’ll have to forgive me, I’m not entirely sure where to find that code to adjust it, or, if it need to be written, where to write it. I don’t see anything like it in the style.css. In the wp-admin, I followed this path is Appearance -> Editor -> Stylesheet.

Is there a CDN system on your site?

Because, I installed Royal Child theme to make modifications without touching the main theme. But, I can’t view its style.css.

I don’t know what a CDN system is so I don’t know, sorry. Also, feel free to make modifications on the regular theme. I haven’t done enough work on the site where I’m afraid of losing anything. As you can probably see I’ve just started building it so it’s no big deal for you to modify the main theme if that’s easier.

Can you please provide a description as to why I need to contact the plug-in author about the issue?

The plug-in works on all other images used throughout the site (but they have been disabled), except the items listed in the portfolio (gallery) section. Only when you click on the featured image of the gallery item, does the plug-in not work.

This seems to be a problem with how the portfolio item is called when the feature image is selected. If you’re able to prove otherwise, I will get in touch with the plug-in author.

Please, open Royal / Home section in wp-admin and add an image into Video Callback Image field. Because, some mobile phones doesn’t run videos automatically as I told you.

I did an update for videos. If you run your site in HTTPS, open layout/js/main.js and remove http: from the beginning of Youtube API loading code.

I’ve changed the main.js, but without any result. The video is still not playing on the homepage after clicking on the “Play”-Button, instead the whole website is loading new. Please give me some advise. Thank you.
