Please, note we included function that displays logo image double smaller then original size to insure good quality on retina devices, too. So, just upload image for logo that is double bigger then the size you want to see in frontend. Also, please, have in mind that logo image is surrounded with header container, so height value you set in Select Options > header > header height should be bigger.

Probably because you have set blog page from WordPress back end settings > readings and then templates cannot be used on configured page. Keep blog posts page undefined and then you will be able to choose page templates.
