Presale question: Is it possible to organize jobs by country and have same categories across all countries?
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!
Currently, WP Job Manager only sorts jobs by date. With the latest job posts at the top of the results. You would need to customize how they are sorted as it is not possible out of the box.
As for Categories, All categories can be used for all countries.
Hope this helps!

Not useful at all! Waste of money. Cannot adjust the width of any pages so website looks cheap and nothing like the demo. Contacted support and keep being directed to a widget article. Such a simple thing but not there.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
I can personally have a look at your website and see what the issue is. I will be happy to assist and have it look like our demo!
Please feel free to contact me at fernandp[at]astoundify[dot]com.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Also having the issue where location is marked as “Anywhere”.
I have:
1. Got a new API key and installed it as described in all previous comments here. 2. Reinstalled Woocommerce.
I would advise against anyone buying this product until this issue is resolved – candidates are not interested in applying for jobs where the location is “Anywhere”.
I am using Jobify with WPJM, and both products are fully updated. Employers choose location from a drop-down on the job submission page.
Can you offer any further suggestions? Please do not mention anything to do with an API key. I have tried this and it has FAILED.
Thanks,
Ed
Hi Ed,
Hope you are doing well today.
If you have added a new API key with the “Key Restriction” settings set to “none” all new jobs will show the address entered within the Location field. If you have an existing job showing “Anywhere” Try to update ith from the back-end and the job Address will get GeoCoded.
Hope this helps.

There’s no way to actually get support for this product. We bought this thru ThemeForest, and now Astondify is asking for a Envato login to get any support, or to access our downloads, or see any future tickets? How are we supposed to get actual support for this product?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
You can access our support channel where we can provide you with Product support. Since the theme is purchased through Envato, you will need to login with your Envato account. We ask this so the Envato API can provide us with your purchased license key.
Let me know if you are still having issued accessing support.
I will be happy to help further,
Kind Regards, Fernando.
interested In jobify for my wp job manager plugin. Question I am using a main theme (newspaper) for my site but want to jobify theme for just the job page. Is that possible?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Out of the box, there is no option to run two themes on an individual website. You can create a WordPress multisite environment to have your default theme show for one site while using Jobify for the Job Pages on the other site. This will allow you to have both themes running within a single WordPress Environment.
Hope this helps.
Fernando.
Hello,
I am curious how soon until there is an update to the theme? I am still having formatting issues in the employer dashboard when viewing candidates that have applied for jobs https://i.imgur.com/hQAxuVd.png
Thanks!
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
We hope to release an official update soon. We do have a fix for this at this moment. I can provide you with a fix. I just kindly ask if you could email me directly at fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com and provide me with your theme license.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Being the owner of the website, can I actually see when a candidate contact the job poster? One of the employer who posted a job on my website told me that he is receiving occasional spam emails. I just want to find out if there is any way for me to see the inquiry and then if it is genuine inquiry from the candidate, I can send it to the employer. Thanks
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
If you are using Ninja Forms, you will be able to view all your form submission on the back-end. The Ninja Forms plugin has an option to allow you to view submitted applications. Same with Gravity Forms.
Contact form 7 does not have the option available out of the box, but you can use a plugin to allow you to save submitted applications: https://contactform7.com/save-submitted-messages-with-flamingo/
Hope this help!

Hi can I create custom packages for employer? Sell a number of CV downloads instead of the number of job posts.
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today.
Currently, the Packages option available is only used to charge a fee to submit jobs and Resume profiles. There is no option available for charging users on the number of Resumes they can download.
Hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
Fernando.
Hello Fernando.
I have few more questions..
1. When applying for a job, I really would like the uploaded CV/resume to be sent directly to the employer (if he provided his e-mail address) or to be redirected to another address (if he provided an external link) instead of a popup that will appear with an external links. Will it be possible? It would look more professional.
3. Will an employer be able to create his profile? I can’t see it in your demo.
4. Is it possible to allow applying only logged in users?
5. Will it be possible to include FEATURED EMPLOYER option in one of the paid packages?
5.In your demo there are 3 featured jobs displayed on your homepage. What will happen if there will be 4 or 5 featured jobs? Will it work like a slider so all featured jobs will be displayed?
Thank you.
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.
Question:
Answer: I really would like the uploaded CV/resume to be sent directly to the employer (if he provided his e-mail address) or to be redirected to another address (if he provided an external link) instead of a popup that will appear with external links. Will it be possible? It would look more professional.
Answer: If a user provided a contact email, you can customize your job application form to allow the user to upload their resume. Each form plugin has a different option available. If a user used an external link, there is no option available to send a CV/resume.
If you have the Resume Manager plugin you can change the process and allow only Registerd candidates to apply with their resume. See here: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/resume-manager/#section-7Question:
Question: 2. Will an employer be able to create his profile? I can’t see it in your demo.
Answer: Employers will be able to Register first where they can create their default account. After when they submit a job a linked company profile will be created for the job.
Question: 3. Is it possible to allow applying only logged in users?
Answer: Out of the box there is no option, but Ninja forms has a premium feature to get users to register to see the application form. Also, if you are using the Resume Manager plugin users need to create a candidate profile first before being able to submit a resume.
Question: 4. Will it be possible to include FEATURED EMPLOYER option in one of the paid packages?
Answer: You can create a Featured Job option for your paid packages.
Question: 5.In your demo, there are 3 featured jobs displayed on your homepage. What will happen if there will be 4 or 5 featured jobs? Will it work like a slider so all featured jobs will be displayed?
Answer: If there are more than 3 featured jobs created, they will be placed underneath in a separate row.
Hope this answers your questions.
Kind regards,
Fernando

Hello, I am looking to purchase your theme. I have a couple of questions. In the standard demo (without WP Job Manager and WooCommerce) IS it possible to charge per listing added on the site?
Would I have control to add and edit sections in post a job section?
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today.
Question: In the standard demo (without WP Job Manager and WooCommerce) IS it possible to charge per listing added on the site?
Answer: The Classic demo does not have the option to charge users for listing on your website. Although it is possible to do so when creating a Listing Package.
Question: Would I have control to add and edit sections in post a job section?
Answer: As an admin, you will be able to Create your own jobs. You can also edit your jobs and the jobs other users submit.
Hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hi, I have bought your theme a couple of years ago, but I haven’t used it yet. I have few questions to ask since I am planning to build my website on your theme.
1. Can someone submit a job without registering an account? I am planning to have the option for free job listings.
2. Is it possible to charge the candidates for posting their profile on the website?
I am planning to use most of the premium addons from the wp job manager page.
Thank you
I have one more question. I cannot import the demo content. I installed all the plugins and then I push import demo and I get an error message.
Please help!
More questions. 1. On your extended demo the pre footer call to action is shown on every page except the home page. When I go to Customize>Footer>Call to Action there is only an option of turning on or off. But How can I make it visible on everypage but not the homepage.
2. Also I find problem with the Companiew we helped widget. Instead of showing everything on one row it brakes and shows the last image on a second row. No matter how many images-companies I choose to show it keeps showing them in two rows. How to fix this?
Hello there!
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!
Question: 1. Can someone submit a job without registering an account? I am planning to have the option for free job listings.
Answer: Users who are not registered will be able to submit a job, but when they submit a job an account will be created for them automatically. This is due to a job requiring to be linked to a registered user account.
Question: 2. Is it possible to charge the candidates for posting their profile on the website?
Answer:Yes you will be able to charge a user to post a candidate profile by creating a Listing Package.
Question: I cannot import the demo content. I installed all the plugins and then I push import demo and I get an error message.
Answer: Is there any possibility you can contact us through support?
Question: On your extended demo the pre-footer call to action is shown on every page except the home page. When I go to Customize>Footer>Call to Action there is only an option of turning on or off. But How can I make it visible on every page but not the homepage?
Answer: At this time it is only possible to display it on the homepage only.
Question: Also I find problem with the Companiew we helped widget. Instead of showing everything on one row it brakes and shows the last image on a second row. No matter how many images-companies I choose to show it keeps showing them in two rows.
Answer: Can you make sure you have our latest release of our plugin. You should have version 3.7.1. That should resolve the issue.
Hope this helps.

Hello!
Does Jobify only work with woo-commerce registration forms?
We creating a career site/portal for our company only and are not in need of selling space etc. as we will only post our own job ads/vacancies for applicants for our own company. .
So woocommerce have no real value for us.
Is there any other you can recommend for registration of job seekers for our company career portal that works with your theme?
Kind regards DreamQuest
Can someone please respond? Thanks!
Hello there!
Terribly sorry for the delay. Last week was an interesting week with both the Canada Day and 4th of July holidays. I would be happy to answer your questions today!
Question: Does Jobify only work with woo-commerce registration forms?
Answer: WooCommerce and our WooCommerce Simple Registration is what we use and recommend to get the same functionality as our demos. You can use alternate options should you wish.
Question: Is there any other you can recommend for registration of job seekers for our company career portal that works with your theme?
Answer: At this time we only recommend using WooCommerce, but there are various options out there you can use as an alternative. I have seen users use 3rd-party plugins that you can integrate with your website.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Thanks for your reply Fernando!
It feels like a big overkill though and unnecessary to run Woocommerce when you are not going to sell anything as in our case where we built an job portal for our won company so applicants that which to apply for a job at our company can do so. Also having installed software plugins that you do not use is somewhat considered a security risk and completely pointless to have installed if you don’t intend to use it. .
Not everyone has a which to run HR company job portal and sell that as you probably know.
It would be nice and very appreciated if you guys wither build in support for another one option too or simply built a nice login template (that you could customize somewhat .eg colors etc) straight into the theme for all of us that are just building a job portal for our own company. That should not take you guys much time. Maybe a few hours to build a login template?
Kind Regards DreamQuest
Can you please process or respond to the refund??
Hi there,
We will review it shortly.

Hello, a pre-sale question i need the bokmark option or contact maybe; but for internal proposal, for example if i have a company interested in any jobs have the posibility to contact the admin website not the freelance?
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well. You can use our Astoundify Favorites plugin to allow users to bookmark jobs/candidates.
Also, you can adjust the Contact forms to be sent to you and not the candidate. This is done through the Form settings.
Hope this helps!
Fernando
Hello! thanks for the answer do you know if i can select more than one profile in the job section? for example if i a big company and need select 20 or 30 persons it is posible? can i add custom item filters? example, country, city, age, scholarity, timejobs, etc?
Hi again,
Hope you are doing well once more!
There currently is no available feature for selecting multiple candidates for the job hiring process.
Also, there is no available solution for adding custom search filters unless through code.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
1. What premium plugins will I have to purchase for this theme to get the same result as it shows in demo?
2. Is this theme combatible with BuddyPress and bbpress forums?
3. Is it possible to remove the map on Jobs page?
4. When applying for a job it is not possible to attach any files like CV or Cover Letter.
Thank you.
one more question regarding applying for job. If employer has provided his email address I understand that when applying, the application will be sent directly to him? But what will happen when employer has provided a link to his website? What will happen when someone will click on APPLY button? Will he be sent to the website?
Is it possible to allow applying only logged in users?
Thank you.
Hey!
Hope you are doing well! I swear I had replied yesterday to your questions! Not sure what happened, but happy to answer them now!
Question: 1. What premium plugins will I have to purchase for this theme to get the same result as it shows in demo?
Answer: Our classic demo does not use any premium plugins. Only our Extended demo has premium plugins. You can see a list of plugins used here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/734-what-paid-plugins-are-used-on-the-jobify-extended-demo
Question: 2. Is this theme compatible with BuddyPress and bbpress forums?
Answer: The Theme ate this time does not officially support BuddyPress or bbpress. You can integrate them and should work, but Jobify offers no special styling for the plugins.
Question: 3. Is it possible to remove the map on Jobs page?
Answer: Yes it is possible. You can edit the results page and by simply changing the page template, you can remove the map.
Question: 4. When applying for a job it is not possible to attach any files like CV or Cover Letter.
Answer: You will be able to customize the forms using the supported plugins. By default, we recommend using Ninja Forms, but the upload field is a premium feature. An alternative is using the Contact Form 7 plugin.
Question: one more question regarding applying for job. If the employer has provided his email address I understand that when applying, the application will be sent directly to him? But what will happen when the employer has provided a link to his website? What will happen when someone will click on APPLY button? Will he be sent to the website?
Answer: A popup will appear letting them know where to apply. They will be presented with an external link which if they click will it take them to that page.
Hope this helps!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hello, can you please respond to my request??
Hi there,
We will review it shortly.

It would be great if the Jobify theme would list Caldera Forms as a “Contact a Job Form” option (when you click on apply for job and can choose a form in the settings). Caldera Forms supports a file upload option for free without paying extra for that (compared to Ninja Forms where you have to pay). Would you consider to implement that? I know that Contact Form 7 also supports that but it won’t hurt to have another additional contact form option available.
Hello!
Thanks for reaching out!
Currently, it is not possible, but like you said, don’t hurt to have it.
I can pitch it to our team and see if we can integrate this with out theme!
Thanks for the feedback!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hi Fernando, Thank you for your reply
. Do you also think it is possible to add “Xing” as an option to the Social footer? Xing is a huge platform like LinkedIn with lots of international clients from around the globe.
Hi there!
You will be able to add “Xing” under your Footer menu items. See here: Manage the Social Footer
The only issue might be getting an Icon as there is no available icons out of the box.
If you need additional help, please let us know through support!
Kind Regards,

Is there a way to create pages that automatically list job posting based on a given city location. For example; goodjobs.com/nyc will open only NYC jobs page with the map on top of the page – showing all the available jobs in NYC. goodjobs.com/london will open only London jobs page with the map on top of the page – showing all the available jobs in London. This will be great for Google indexing jobs based on a city and serve up only the page related to the city user interested finding jobs in. If it is possible to implement it, what are the steps to create these city pages so that they auto-load job-postings related to each city.
Thanks so much!!
Hi there!
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!
There are 2 ways you can do this.
The first is using the Predefined Regions feature. You can create a Region that links to the appropriate Jobs. From there you can view the Archive page and all the results linked to the region will return.
The other option is creating a landing page for the appropriate location. See here: Create a Landing page
Hope this helps!
Fernando
The other option you talk about has a broken link, can you provide the proper link to “Create a Landing page”?
You can find it here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/1050-create-static-results-pages-to-increase-seo-rankings
Sorry about that.
Hope that helps.
