Hello milingona team, I am not sure if you are alerted when i submit replies. I am creating a new post as I have not received a response to my latest reply. I’ve also been e-mailing you directly but not receiving a response there either. Forgive my persistence, but I am unsure how to fix the problem and am in desperate need of help.

In summary, the website performs miserably when Visual Compser plugin is enabled. Even the dashboard/backend is unusable. Screenshot can be seen here of how the wordpress dashboard looks when Visual Composer is enabled. http://imgur.com/YK9vXov

When Visual Composer is disabled, the website is super super fast. Unfortunately the pages are just a bunch of giberish, of course. So leaving it disabled is not an option. Can we please troubleshoot my Visual Composer to rectify this issue?

As I stated in comment above, I am giving you 24 hours. I asked for help 11 days ago and followed up 9 days ago. I’ve also sent multiple e-mails to your support address. Part of the reason I purchased your theme was the promise of support. You’ve not provided support, you’ve not even sent an acknowledgement which should be professional courtesy. It seems I am being ignored as others are receiving responses to their requests for help. If I do not receive a response in 24 hours, I will be reporting you to Envato, demanding a refund and leaving a strongly worded negative review. Regretably, I really do not want to have to do any of that but I feel you leave me choice.

Please make sure your max execution time and memory limit are set high enough. Reset database and try again to install the demo content from Bakery > Install Demo Content.

How can we get the social shortcode [vu_social_network url=”#” icon=”fa fa-facebook”] to work in the footer / copyright bottom area? Currently, if the social shortcode is added to the footer / copyright area it is not recognized. Thanks!

You should modify line 25 of wp-content/themes/bakery/footer.php>

Theme’s been working fine until this week. In the backend of Wordpress, when I go to edit a page, nothing is coming up as expected. Visual Composer doesn’t come up and the visual editor is completely blank. Further, none of the dropdowns or buttons work on the page.

I’ve attempted to de-activate plugins with no success. All plugins are updated. Wordpress is latest version. I was going to attempt to update the theme, but on the themes page, the mouseover/button scenario isn’t working, so while I can switch themes, I can’t uninstall so that I can re-install, and the Envato toolkit doesn’t seem to be giving me options to update.

The site is still operating fine, but I can not edit any of the pages at all. Any insight you can provide to solve the issues?

I see that you have replied to other users’ issues, but have yet to weigh-in on mine. I’m not able to make any changes at all to my site, and could really use some help/ insight.

Hello Milingona team, I have a dire problem and hope you can help or at least point me in the right direction. I have been building a site with the Bakery theme for some time with great success. Very suddenly I have had problems loading the site. It takes 10 – 20 seconds to load a page and sometimes times out saying ‘Page cannot be displayed”. If I change the theme from Bakery to say Wordpress Twenty Seventeen then the site becomes very responsive and loads without issue. Can you please help? www.OrlandoProvisions.com

Optimizations did not seem to help. The fact of the matter is the website was fine until I switched URL’s. As you pointed out in your comment, the 51d was the the older, temporary URL. Does Visual Composer maintain a database that is having issues with URL change? Can we reset Visual Composer, can we update? If Visual Composer plugin is disabled then the website is super super fast. I would appreciate a quick response as I am under tremendous pressure to get this issue resolved immediately. thank you thank you thank you :)

I hoe you are doing well. I am looking for support for our client’s site, www.meghall.com. We’re experiencing a new design issue/conflict and cannot resolve the issue on our own. meghall.com is running the current version of Themeco’s X theme (5.1.0), and is also using Visual Composer’s WP Bakery plugin.

We’ve tried disabling plugins one by one, checking dev tools for errors, confirming that all plugins are up to date, and reading through the theme’s changelog for any obvious conflicts. I reverted the site to June 25, as that was the earliest date I was able to (the client has form entries up to June 24).

The site is also using the most recent version of Wordpress, 4.8—which may be causing the issue. I am not sure when the conflict began; I haven’t checked the site for ~2-3 weeks.

Looks that you’ve written your issue not in the right place. We’re not the author of X theme nor the author of Visual Composer plugin so you should contact them and ask for support.

Google Maps is not working in this theme on my computer. It says something about fixing a JS error. Is there a way to do that?

To fix that please visit this link, generate a key and insert it in Bakery > 3rd Party > Google Map API Key.

1. How to change the background color of the upper header, where it appears Email – Phone – Social Networks … Is CSS, where?

2. In the headings style options, we use the Custom image on each page, this image always appears with a semi-transparent background, similar to the primary color of the theme … How can we eliminate this color ?, we want That the custom header images do NOT have that semi-transparent layer …

3. We have problems with the use of the Events Calendar plugin, since the page that is created by default (Events), uses the same header photo as the blog … Do you know any other plugin that works well with the headers of your Theme?

1. To change the top bar color, add the following code in Bakery > Custom Code > CSS Code:

}

2. To remove the color overlay, add the following code again in Bakery > Custom Code> CSS Code:

.full-header-container:after{background-image:none !important;}

3. We cannot give you an exact plugin name that could help you. But if you want we can customize it for you for an extra fee, just leave more details here.

I purchased the theme and tried using the one-click demo content install, but it gives me an error pop-up that says “There was an error importing demo content:”

Very suddenly I am getting a 500 Internal Error and page will not display. I’ve renamed my plugins folder via FTP and found that the problem is being caused by WPBakery Visual Composer plugin. If the plugin is deactive then everything is ok. If plugin is active then I lose the site. What can I do to fix this?
