Agent investigated this again recently, so please give them FTP access also, so they can test few things since theme is working just fine, and if there is some issue it is certainly due to server resources, and it can be fixed even by our side by some minor changes.

Background image will cover entire container area if it is large enough, but if you are setting it over single image element then you can place it inside different columns. Anyway, you can contact support team over email support[@]mikado-themes.com and they will help you out. Also, please provide a link to your page with WordPress admin access.

You can upgrade our theme by performing following steps:
1. Download latest All files & documentation file from ThemeForest (your Downloads page)
2. Extract it and locate servicemaster.zip
3. Extract servicemaster.zip and locate servicemaster folder
4. Copy/Replace the content of servicemaster folder to /wp-content/themes/servicemaster folder of your web site.
Using this method, none of existing content or settings will be lost.
How to upgrade Visual Composer plugin to latest version? You can upgrade Visual Composer by performing following steps:
1. Please make sure main theme is activated while performing other steps
2. Go to Plugins page in your WordPress Dashboard, locate Visual Composer in the list, deactivate it and delete it
3. You will see message that required plugin is missing at the top of your WordPress Dashboard
4. Install the plugin and then activate it

All home page demos are available in single demo import, so in order to set some other demo for your home page, simply set different home page from WordPress back end > Settings > Reading.

I am unable to import any of the content. I wanted to import the pages/layouts from the demo and alter them for my client but when I try to go to Mikado Options -> Import it locks up on Content import every time and I have tried several and waited upwards to 3-5 hours. Is there a way I can manually import the demo data?

That is usually an error related to your PHP version on the server. Try contacting your hosting provider and ask them to increase your PHP version to the one suggested by wordpress here: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ . For this error, PHP version 5.4 would be enough to work well but we highly suggest to use PHP 5.6 since it is minimum required version for WooCommerce plugin which is supported by our theme.

All our themes are using unique text domain for translating theme labels so you can translate text strings with poedit software. Also, beside translating theme labels, you need to translate some text strings in core plugins which comes with the theme and the principle is the same.
Regarding Cyrillic fonts, theme support a lots of google fonts, so you just need to choose font which supports Cyrillic characters. Beside google fonts, you can also choose few system fonts which all have support for Cyrillic.

Logo is changing on our side https://www.screencast.com/t/vYIKtA2Gq . depending on header skin being used different logo can be loaded so make sure that you have set all logo types from Mikado options > General.

Thanks I realize now what was causing it not to change – yeah the logo was set in the page options on the specific page…. sucks for me because I had cloned this specific page about 40 times for the rest of the content! lol

Theme use query_post function. This function will completely override the main query and isn’t intended for use by plugins or themes. Therefore pre_get_posts not work.

query_posts() is valid WordPress function, which can be used, and also all themes are tested by people from Theme Forest, and if this is issue, I am sure that they would had instructed us to perform query in another way. Thanks for noticing this. Developer investigated this and it was some minor fix for negative margin which was caused in process of building demo content. This is fixed, and you can take look on Firefox, just clear browser cache in case that you are still seeing version with odd positioned section.

1. Sorry but these are two different themes that comes with their own features. You can not combine those two unfortunately.
2. Yes you can add one more column. Our theme uses Visual composer and shortcodes and you can easily add elements.
3. In Service master theme the shortcode icon with text has a different layout http://servicemaster.mikado-themes.com/elements/icon-with-text/ But with help of Visual composer you could make your own elements that contain an icon and heading that will have an background.
If there is anything else feel free to ask and if you somehow referred to Renovator theme only please let us know, because then you could use those elements you are asking about.

Hi guys. I’ve successfully imported the data but there are some issues which I’ve detailed in TICKET #1188445 on your support system. The biggest issues is that the menu is missing. If this is by design then others thinking of buying this theme should be aware of this because it takes much longer to set up the theme without the menu in place. (I’ll update my progress here when this issue is resolved).

Our developer was investigating this. It seems like it is issue with wordpress importer and PHP 7. And import of import of menu items will fail, but everything else will be in place. This is not a theme issue. Agent replied to your ticket, so please continue on your ticket.

It seems like that but it is due to wordpress importer and it is functionality for WordPress, but beside that all theme functions will work just fine with PHP7, it is just problematic for importing menus.

I have struggled for 3 full days to work with this theme unsuccessfully.
Here is my progress update for any one considering buying this theme:
1. Data import on PHP7 will not work. It will report 100% but your menus will be incomplete.
2. Changing the logo size cause serious layout issues requiring CSS fixes which don’t work consistently.
3. Due to issues 1 & 2, I have asked support to implement “wide menu” as shown on their demo. Following their instructions did not work correctly.
4. Replies here on themeforest are fast and friendly but the actual technical support is just not acceptable. Poor understanding of the issue, untested fixes and looong waits.
This theme is really good in many ways but after 3 days I must now consider an alternative. I would like to give support a final chance to fix my issues (simply provide me with what is shown on demo site) but I’m honestly not sure they have the ability.
