Thanks for writing. The one click demo import overwrite the navigation menus, widgets, theme options and front page set up. No content will be erased if you don’t choose to eliminate the content. We always recommend to import a demo on a staging site and then work on production.

You can import a different number of demos in order to see how it is that they are done, that way you can later change their configuration and adopt them as their own site. The main goal for the demos is that you import them and you learn how it is that you can do all different sites with the same theme.

I find this theme to be so very nice and has lots of features.
But I just wanted to know if I can use this to the website I am planning to make.
1. Can I make the homepage as a Portfolio type but the boxes will be of the same sizes or all are perfectly squares (not so big) fit in a 4-5 columns maybe and comprises of 200 boxes but will only shows 50 boxes and will just have a next button for the rest?
2. Can I also added a Blog menu for an article based page. And another News menu for the news categories. Can I somehow combined the different demos you have from a single theme?
3. Can I also integrate a 3rd Party API.

1. Yes, they can be squared and they can have a “Load more” button in case you need to load more.
2. I’m not sure if I’m getting you on this one. Where would you like to create those menus. Yes, you can combine the different demos, in the sense that you can import one, see how it works, and import the other one and see how it works. The demos are meant to be examples of what can be done with the theme.
3. What type of 3rd party API? That’s independent of the theme I guess. That’s more related to the service you’d like to add, and how you add it.

Yes, you can use multiple authors, in any WordPress site. WordPress relies on gravatar.com to manage and display avatars. With regards to social networks perhaps you can find a plugin or you can do some sort of customization to the theme.

I started using Smart recently and I really like it so far. Smart is easy to use and has most of the features that I need. I encountered a few issues with the theme that I’m hoping will be resolved soon. I installed Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer and it broke my website. I also noticed that the customize function does not work Every time I try to use the theme customizer I receive an error message that says: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in /home/aieabowl2014/public_html/new/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 904. Are there some bugs that still need to be worked out? Please help me to resolve this issue.

We have created our own tailored version of visual composer, with our own elements. The main reason of doing this is that we’ve found that visual composer was slightly bloated in some way and it wasn’t optimal in terms of performance. By saying that it broke your site you mean that it started displaying a white screen or what is that happened?

Unfortunately there’s no demo like the main demo, we’ve created that one with the goal of showing the other demos and the different features the theme comes with. So, it cannot be imported, but it was created with the visual builder.

The Latin extended version at first has to do with the font you choose. Our theme includes the fonts in a way all glyphs should be included. But, in case they are not, we will support you to get it sorted.

I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t be compatible. In theory, our tailored version would be exactly our own VC add-ons. As long as they fit into rows and columns, and if they use their own JS, I’m pretty sure it won’t be a problem.
