Hi, I recently installed the Advanced Booking Calendar Plugin from https://booking-calendar-plugin.com/ however the date picker doesn’t work unless you refresh the page. Having spoken to the plugin developer, they have advised me to contact you as there are issues with JS files. This is what they said:
“Ok, the slider was not the problem (also it generated hundreds of JS errors in the console). Your theme is loading the JavaScript files at the beginning of the visit, but if you change pages, it is not reloading the necessary files for that page. Could you contact the support of your theme regarding that topic. We can’t fix it from our side, sorry.”
Try to disable AJAX Page feature in Theme Options -> AJAX Options to see if it works.

I asked this question on official WordPress forum but they told me to ask it here.
I set this option to have seperate homepage and separate posts page. Everything was working great until the last couple of days when all the posts disappeared from the custom (/blog) page. I tried to delete the latest post as I thought it was them causing the problems – but apparently not. I also created a new empty page to change the posts page in the settings thinking that wordpress encountered an error with this particular permalink.
I would be grateful for your help!

Actually if you create a new empty page, and then set it as the Posts page in Settings -> Reading. That page should automatically display all posts from your site.
There may be a plugin conflict on your site. Try to deactivate other plugins to see if it works.

The mobile site does not show the navigation. How can we fix this AND i saw an update to this theme in June. I do not have access to this – can this be resent or the most recent update available please!

Please make sure you’ve updated Wyde Core plugin and other bundled plugins too. After you update the theme, you will see a notification to update the bundled plugins. Click on a link in the notification to see the new update of those plugins.

I have a WP Tag Cloud element in the Visual Composer and I am using it to show all the tags but I want to customize which tags it will show. Currently, it is showing all tags or none. what element can I use to show certain Tags or how else I can do this? Also, how can I show a list of categories the same way? I want to be able to customize which Tags or categories?

The WP Tag Cloud and other elements with the name WP are built-in WordPress widgets. As you can see in Appearance -> Widgets, those widgets don’t have any option to choose some tags or categories. They always display all tags and categories from your website.
I think you will need to install the third party plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/selective-tags/
Dear Wyde, congratulations on a superb WP theme. I have a simple question, hope you can help: the pictures I have for ‘Team Members’ are low-res (300×300px) and getting better ones is a no-no. Is there a way to make the size smaller within Team Member Slider. I have only 2 items. The way they are now, the image is awfully pixelated. Thank you in advance.

The Team Member Slider always stretch to full the column. You have to reduce the column width to make the slider smaller.
There are a couple of ways to reduce the column width:
1. You should NOT use a full-width row, edit the row settings and change the Content Width to “Default” instead of “Full Width”.
2. Add more columns to the row, change the row layout to 3 columns so you will have a smaller Team Member Slider.
3. Edit the column settings and choose “Large” for the “Padding Size”, you will have the large gap between the column and content inside it.
Thanks for the ultra-quick reply. One final issue: checking old posts, I came across a user asking how to “change the color of the contents of the description of team members (name, descprition , icons , ...)”, to which you replied “You can change the color of the text in the Team Members Slider by changing the text color in the column settings. Edit the column container, change the Text Style to “Custom” then choose the color.” Must be dumb, but I can’t find that option (column setting) anywhere. Could you please explain more in detail where it is? Thank you again,

When you choose “Middle” or “Bottom” for the “Content Vertical Alignment” option in the row settings, it will automatically enable the equal height feature of the columns.
When www.szrek.com loads, the first image it loads is the white watermarked background. The first frame of the video (a very dark image) in the slider revolution then loads. After that the video starts. The client does not want to see a white screen while site is loading. They want to see the dark image ( an image of the the first frame of the video). Is there a way to get the theme to load the first image in the slider revolution instead of the background image of the home page? If that is not possible, we would like the screen to be very dark to match the slider revolution. Because the site is slow to load, this white screen particularly difficult to look at when the whole initial look and feel is dark… thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
As you know the browser always displays the image that was completely loaded first. That means your page background image (white watermarked background) has been loaded before the slider background image.
Try to enable Preload Images in Theme Options -> General to see if it works. When this feature is enabled, it will load all images on the page before displaying the whole page content.
If this doesn’t work, you will need to remove the page background, and then set that image as the background of the row next to the slider instead.

You don’t need to hide the Header when you’re using the Left Menu. If you hide it, you won’t see the mobile menu icon.
You have to edit your Home page, change the “Display Header” in Flora Options -> Page to “Show”.

This is a compatibility issue, the Redux Framework that’s included in the Wyde Core plugin is not compatible with PHP 7.1. Try to downgrade to PHP 7.0 to see if it works.

I have tried everything and the installation is not working. Following are the issues that I am having:
- Can’t import the media content and I put the parameters in the php.ini as specified - I am getting this error when trying to launch the website:

I haven’t modified anything. The demo selected is # 1.

I am still unable to import Media completely but the other errors I figured out that it was the version of PHP that I was using. I downgraded to a different version and now the errors are gone. I just need help with the media.

It sounds like your site has the low PHP configuration limits. Please make sure you have increased those limits as we provided in our documentation.
To can install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/php-settings/ to check and change the PHP limits on your server.

Thank you! I downloaded the plugin and these are the results that appear in the table: upload_max_filesize = 32M max_execution_time = 300 max_input_vars = 5000 post_max_size = 32M memory_limit = 256M
Based on this it should work. I will try later and let you know if still an issue.
If you have imported other content types but Media, next time you can skip others and select only Media to import.
However, the importing process depends on your server performance. Some images might not be imported, you have to upload yours to replace them manually.

Hi I am really happy with my purchase that I made yesterday and am enjoying the template. I have two questions. In the footer there seems to be something missing. There are two buttons Download Button and Our Work Button there is no place to put a url. Also the Newsletter Button doesn’t seem to be functioning. I added a url and it doesn’t work. I bought your theme Flora and I am trying to activate the licensing to update and improve my Visual Composer. But it says that you have removed or hidden the Product Licensing tab with the Visual Composer settings. They said I should talk to you to have that fixed. How do I do that?
The activation option is only for enabling automatic update feature but you don’t need it because that plugin is included in the theme and need to be updated by the theme author to make sure it will be compatible and work properly with this theme.
I’m sorry but some content elements and features are disabled by default since they’re not compatible with the theme. Even if you have activated the license code, they won’t be working. We would recommend you to use custom content elements that were designed especially for this theme instead.

This is a permalink conflict issue. As you know you have the portfolio page called “portfolio” but you have set the portfolio post slug to “portfolio” too. You couldn’t set the portfolio post slug to the same name as the portfolio page slug.
There are 2 ways to solve this issue:
1. Change your portfolio page slug from “portfolio” to others.
2. Or change the portfolio post slug in Theme Options -> Portfolio -> Portfolio Single Post -> Portfolio Slug to others, default value is “portfolio-item”.

Your theme (Flora) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

i use printaura.com for my store and i think because of those template files, it’s giving me a error when i try to manage the store. how many days/weeks will it be for an update?
When you go to the WooCommerce status page, you will have only 1 template file that is out of date called “flora/woocommerce/cart/cart.php”. It’s a template layout of the Cart page. I’ve checked it on our demo site and it’s currently working fine even with the new version of WooCommerce plugin.
If you’d like you can check it yourself on your Cart page, add a product to your shopping cart and click on “View Cart” to go to your Cart.
I have no idea why your plugin doesn’t work but I think it should be not related to the old version of that template. I suppose that your plugin is not compatible with the new update of WooCommerce plugin.
Also, after checking your recent comments again. Seems like you have more than 1 template file that are out of date. Actually you should have only 1 warning in there. Try to delete the whole theme folder first, and then upload the new one to make sure all old files have been removed.
Anyway, we will release the new update in a couple of days.
