Great theme, just purchased. I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to allows other pages to have the same layout as the homepage? For example, I want to create a page showcasing specific posts from a category.
2. I noticed when creating a widgetized page and using the recent post (grid) widget, that you can only have a layout of two post images next to each other in every row. Is there any way to only have one post image displayed but stretched to fill the page, and then another post image in the following row?

Glad that you like the theme. Here are the answers to your questions:
1. You can always set the page as widgetized and place in the “Section:” widgets. Both Recent Posts and Recent Posts (Grid) widget allow you to pick categories as well.
2. Currently there is no way to pick different layouts, but we’ll surely consider doing something about it in future versions.

Hi, my articles now have random subheaders. These come with slightly smaller font than the actual topic and comes directly under the topic of an article. How can delete these?

Pre purchase question : it is possible to add 2 or 3 different languages on the mosaics of the stories for each story ? Instead of the button “Read story”, another “button” to choose a language. If yes, how can you do that ? Thanks !

Love this theme! Two questions before I buy!
1) On the demo, where it says “Spiritual Bites” how easy it would it be to put a photo gallery in that section (using a plugin) instead of having a post there? That way people can view my photos on the very first page… it’s said things are built by widgets but not sure how much you can edit what a widget displays!
2) On the alternative demo, http://demo.codestag.com/ink-alt/ – can the menu bar at the top “float” when scrolling down? (ideally fading a bit!)

Hi there, thanks for writing in. You can do that in many ways, yes. The theme makes use of the header image feature, and allows you to add a header image with a bg video and any html content. You would put your gallery shortcode there and that section would be added at the top of your homepage post grid.
You could also create a widgetized page, that is a page composed of widget sections. You could add anything inside a section widget really, I will be happy to guide you through this at our support desk.
Sticky menu is not built-in for now, but you could rely on a plugin functionality to achieve this I suppose.

I think this MALWARE plugin affects your theme, and if so, what are you doing about it so customer can remove it??? Emails were sent out by a large hosting company asking me to remove it from install…

This plugin indeed contains malware, so of course you need to remove it from your theme by deleting it.
I am not sure what your question is about since we do not have control over what plugins our theme users have installed in their themes.

The full with in post image is not working. It’s stays with page width which isn’t full screen width. alignment set to none but not working.

Hello! The theme looks gorgeous. I see its not compatible with Visual Composer. But, is it compatible with other plugins? For example, if I wanted to have opt in forms, ads, etc?

We have not tested Visual Composer for compatibility, but Ink is a very lightweight theme coded with best WP practices, so it should play nice with most plugins

I really like your theme, but I have two pre-sales questions: 1) Would it be possible to integrate a Flickr gallery / feed into a page or widget area (e.g. by using a Flickr plugin and inserting its shortcode there)? 2) Is it possible to increase the margins between posts on a blog page with a grid view?

This functionality in not possible without some serious customization of the theme files. The closest you can do is to make use of the Header media feature located in the customizer, or even better, a static content section widget, on a widgetized page.
There you will be able to have any content over a background image, and this section will have a height according to the amount of content you add.

Yes, definitely. You need to do is login to your WordPress dashboard and go to Settings » Reading. Next change the “Blog pages show at most” number from 8 to 4.

We are interested in setting up a site with premium content. It was great to find a nice theme like this integrated with a premium content plugin.
What we are looking for is a way to show some teaser text for premium content and to view/read the full content you need to subscribe. Looking at your demo, it seems this is not possible?. When you click on a premium content article, you are immediately presented with a message asking the user to subscribe. Is this the only behaviour available? or you can we show some teaser text and user must subscribe/login to view the full content?

Hi there, thanks for writing in. It is possible to have a teaser on each article, definitely. Actually this is part of the functionality of Restrict Content Pro, but you can easily make even part of your content premium, if you wrap it in shortcodes. The plugin is quite flexible with this, but I definitely encourage you to take a look to the full feature list:

Hi there, thanks for writing in. Ink does not support infinite scroll for now, and we have not tested with any plugin, so feel free to give it a try. Also worth noting is that Jetpack plugin has an infinite scroll module, perhaps you would be interested in trying this one first.

Hello, fantastic theme! Just a curiosity… today we upgraded our Ink theme to the latest 2.2 version. In the changelog you state that you added three new blog layouts but in the theme customizer we don’t see anything new. Where could we see them? Thank you!

Hi. Awesome theme and design! I was wondering, before I buy and soend the next 20 years with the theme. Does it support Learndash? So can i start a Learning Management System with this theme and offer courses to students? Of course paud courses, one-off payments. And need to have their own profiles, therefor learndash seems great. Hopefully with Ink. Thanks!
Thanks for checking out Ink. I’m afraid I cannot commit to 100% compatibility with any third party plugin, however Ink has been developed with WordPress best coding practices and it’s code is un-obtrusive.
Ink is powerfully flexible and well designed as you see. I’d love to see how it turns out if you decide to give it a try with LearnDash. I had not heard of it till now, and looks very promising. Let me know how this goes, or if you have another question, happy to help!
