Hi, on other themes using visual composer I can make a row not load until it is scrolled upon. Animate when almost visible. I cant seem to find that in fusion builder. All my sliders load instantly so i dont get to see the slide intro, helps abit on loadtime.

Hi I have installed avida theme but did not install the demo content. If I install the demo content will this affect my current page I have on my site? will I loose the content created i.e. pictures, sliders, pages, video etc?

You will actually not lose any content of your own site but you will actually get more content from demo and it will replace all the other content for you, in this case we do have a partial import option where you can import partial content of a demo and that should be handy for you in this case.

You will have to use custom CSS for that as the logo is position to remain inside the header all the time even if you increase the top margin, however what you require is doable simply by using a custom CSS fix

Hi guys,
I’ve owned the Avada theme for about 3 years now and, in general, find it to be a good theme. However, the reason I ditched it was that I think your blog template page design needs some serious help – if you addressed this issue, you’d probably have more customers (seriously).
I do a lot of my own custom coding so I’m not too worried about it, but the average Avada customer won’t have that knowledge (or the budget to pay someone to do customisations).
Here are the blog post issues for your consideration:
1) Your H1 tag in the title bar and first H2 tag (post title under image) render the same content. The idea of that page title bar at the top is, in my view, pretty useless and just wastes space.
2) The default font size is excessively small and unimpressive.
3) You put the author name, date, and meta info below the post. Seriously?
4) The previous and next bar at the top is a waste of space and would probably be better positioned at the bottom of the post.

To be clear, I’m not trying to give you a hard time, but from a blogger perspective, these are frustrating things that should really be cleared up. Have a look at the Newspaper 8 theme for what I believe to be a much better coded blog template.

I will reply to your queries in the same order below.
1. We do have an option where you can disable the Post Titles for single posts if you want to, we also have an option where you can change and set your own custom title for your page title bar so it will appear as a separate text and not same as your post title.

2. You can always change the font size from Avada > Theme Options > Typography
3. If you want us to change the position and have any feature suggestion about it please do provide us with your feature request and send it to support@theme-fusion.com please, this is basically a design decision and not a theme issue and we always welcome all the suggestions

Hi guys, I wrote the original post on this thread. I’m back to tinkering with Avada on a local host demo site and I’m seeing that you’ve really not done anything to improve the blog page. As I stated above, the H1 tag is in the page title bar and then you repeat the title again in the H2 below the main feature image. Seriously, you guys are losing a lot of money by missing the blogger market.
The H1 in the page title bar is too small. I could increase the font but then it looks like rubbish being cramped into that grey bar.
If I turn off the H2 post title in the theme options, then the meta data option disappears altogether. Seriously? What if I don’t want the redundant H2 post title (because it’s already in the H1 page title bar), but I want to keep the meta data? I’m sure I could probably waste a lot of time playing around with CSS, but should I really have to do this when you could easily have this as an option?
As I said before, I would strongly recommend you look at Newspaper 8 theme with all their single blog post options and study their coding. Here is a screenshot of what their blog post looks like: https://imgur.com/a/uj7gc
You’ll notice they don’t have that big crappy looking grey page title bar, but just have a large font post title for their H1 that doesn’t run across the entire page. Also note there is no redundant H2 post title that repeats the H1. It’s elegantly simple and has good SEO baked into its DNA.
Anyway, to be fair, I do think Avada is a good theme and the demos look great. But since I bought this theme back around 2014, you have yet to clean up your blog posts and give users more options for single posts. As of now it’s still pretty average and I’d say you’re potentially missing out on a lot of sales. Sorry to be so blunt, but I’d really love to see you assign a team to clean up your blog pages and offer more options for serious bloggers.

Thank you for your question. If you’re moving servers, then a standard WordPress migration will do for all non-theme specific content. (e.g, Plugin post types like WooCommerce products would move over just fine.) If your theme uses any custom post types, those will not automatically port over to Avada because they’re registered in WordPress through that theme. If there are no custom post types in use with your theme, then there won’t be any issue there as standard WordPress posts will of course work just fine in Avada.

Hey guys, i think in one of your last updates something went wrong.
A year ago i created a side for a customer. Final check runs without errors and site works very well. Now a problem comes up with TAGLINE BOXes. I have a few on a site and in the content area a FUSION-TOGGLE inside. If you open it up now, you cant even scroll down to the bottom of the content. It stucks.
If you then resize your browser window from the bottom a bit, you are able to scroll down the whole content. Until you open the next TOGGLE. Then same problem occur.
Hadn’t this problem before. Cross platform checks on different PCs shows the same. On mobiles the problem didn’t show up.
Will be happy if you fix that

There are a bunch of js errors in your theme. I already updated your theme and applied the patches but it still persists.
For your information, when I keep refreshing this page: https://lmpmarketing-demo.live/service-center-locator/
There are chances that I do not see my map. I also see some javascript errors, sometimes not. Your avada works well, sometimes not whenever I try refreshing my page back and forth etc.
Try to refresh and wait till it finishes loading. And then refresh again and so on until you dont see the map.

And when I keep refreshing, the map is working fine again due to I do not able to see the js errors of your theme. I do not like this.
I already tried disabling my map plugin and the js errors of your theme still persists.

I have had a look at that page, and there are several things to note:
- You are using a 3rd party store locator plugin, it is not part of Avada and I am see User Agent errors in the console -> https://d.pr/i/XHk7ol – that is coming from Avada, it is plugin related
- I was not able to replicate that. I refreshed the store locater page numerous times, in various browsers, and each time it did not disappear for me. Do you have cache plugins installed? If yes, please purge the cache as well
- Our developers can check this for you, but because it is a untested 3rd party plugin we may need to defer you to the plugin author because we do not have access to the plugins code or development cycle

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Archive description fields do not entertain HTML or shortcode elements by default, if you want to create an archive page consisting of your own content we suggest creating a new page using the category filter and using it as the category page instead.

The only way it can happen is if you put the modal code inside either your Footer or a sidebar that is attached Globally to your pages, then you can put the modal trigger anywhere you want and it will definitely work

Hi hope you are good. A friend of mine recently installed another theme but found trouble with the customization dashboard loading despite the website itself loading very fast. When it loads, it gives a blank screen at intervals and a ‘not responding’ message. She is currently looking for another theme because that theme developer could not trace the issue despite her deleting plugins. Do you have an idea from your large experience with clients why this may have happened She wants to purchase a new theme which may be yours but first wants to make sure it doesn’t happen again by finding out the real problem. Is it also possible for her to build the site to a 2 column masonry grid on the home page along with a grid slider? Thank you so much in anticipation

Since we do not not which theme your friend bought and we are definitely not the Author of that theme we can not provide you any info about that particular item, however we are the authors of Avada and we can tell you about our own item and that our Dashboard works just fine and good, Avada theme options panel is based on Redux and is really user friendly.

Can tags be created in different tag categories?
Let’s I want to create some blog post that belong to different groups of tags. Say there is tag group for related country so, I’d have US, UK, France, and so on. I assume tags would be a way to implement that.
But if there should be other types of tag, e.g. a group of tags for technology – PHP, Python, Java, etc.
And there could be more groups for e.g. project size (small, medium, large), status (planned, in progress, finished) just to name a few things.
Obviously these different groups of tags should not be mixed up. Is there a way to do that, in the description it only states that tags are supported?

In WordPress, tags are all in a pool and the author of the post assigns the relevant tags to the post as they see fit. So if you have tags that are only for US related posts, you would just assign those tags to the post. So you can certainly do what you’re talking about, but there is no hierarchy for tags in WordPress (by default).

Thanks, but that was actually not my question.
The question is not about hierarchy of tags but about grouping them. So they would logically all be on one level, non-hierarchically but they would be grouped into different categories, kind of.
So to try it with an example: Post 1 could be tagged as relevant for US, Canada and UK (for the country tag). But at the same time it could be tagged ‘PHP’ (for the language tag). But these are tags out of totally different spheres if you put it that way.

Avada doesn’t modify the default WordPress tag behavior, so grouping functionality would have to come from an outside factor.
However, that wouldn’t hinder you from adding tags to a post that are related to a specific country/language/genre etc. You can add any variety of tags to posts as you see fit.

Hey, I bought an Inovado Theme from you long time ago because i love the design. The Problem i have right now my developer teels me the theme is no longer compatible with wordpress 4.8. After installing it on the new server with c panel we get a lot of error messages like:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/devtest1/public_html/wp-content/themes/inovado/functions.php:1) in /home/devtest1/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1210
So i can not really use it longer in the future. My question is, is there any update for the new wordpress 4.8 or will be there any update in the future ?
The last update i have from this theme is INOVADO Version: 4.6.6.
