Hello! I bought a theme long time ago but I have just started working on it. I try to change the text on home page but it does not change it. I shows the standard text instead. Please, kindly tell what is this bug?

Hello, lately I get this strange texts on my pages (www.garageveltman.nl): Function create_function() is deprecated (carpress\inc\theme-widgets.php). Is there an easy fix for this? I tried updating the theme, but doesn’t do the trick… thanks!
Hi, did you upgrade your php engine? Or maybe added some custom code? I’ve checked our sandbox and it works without an error. Updating the theme and all the plugins should clear those issues in most cases. Take care!
Hi, I did not upgrade the PHP engine, it was running on php 7.2.10. I cloned the website and restored it on a php 5.3.29 engine. But it gives the same problem. Any suggestions? I never had trouble with it…
I now did a new clone and it works at php 5.3.29, so the problem must be in 7.2.10.

There is an issue with the newest version of WordPress 4.9.4 on my website www.bmcars.pl. After updating my slider images and Google Maps vanished from the home page. I tried putting new Google Maps API, but this didn’t solve the issue. There is probably some error with JavaScript

Hi. It is not just support it is also the time which goes in the maintenance of the older themes. Thanks for the notice but there is not much we can do about it. There will be always illegal copies of the themes online. Be careful with those since you never know what exactly will you get.

I had considered buying this theme but can you explain why it went from it being previously listed as $59 and has now jumped to $199? It’s even still listed in the Live Demo for $59 then when you go to buy it’s listed as $199. Just seems very expensive compared to other similar themes on themeforest.
Hi. CarPress is one of our older themes and our plan is to keep all our themes up to date so all our themes can be used for a long time. We also listened to our users and we added support back to our older themes. This is one of the main reasons for the price increase. On single service pages the
is always what you name the Services parent page item. How can we have that be the name of the actual individual service instead? I’d rather the tag for each service page be the name of each unique service instead of always being “Service”.

You can use Visual Composer with our theme but we are not using it in any of our CarPress demo pages. Also, our widgets won’t work with it, since Visual Composer is working with shortcodes, so you would need native VC elements. We have our own slider in the theme but you can also use Slider revolution which is supported.

Hi there, I can’t get the Revolution Slider to load and I’d love to be able to make use of the SLIDES feature that came with the theme. Right now all I can do is create slides and add an alias to a page, but that doesn’t do anything. How does the slider work?

I’m also wondering why the ‘MAKE AN APPOINTMENT’ button didn’t come with the main navigation bar? That along with the fact that the slider doesn’t work is a bit frustrating. The preview you guys are selling is a lot different than what I was sold.
I’m not exactly happy about this purchase at this moment with all the pieces that seem to be missing. Any help is greatly appreciated since I’m trying to finish up my client’s website this week.

I looked up information on why I can’t find the plugin ‘revslider.zip’ and the CarPress theme doesn’t seem to include it when I download the files. That’s confusing. The CarPress theme you are selling shows the slider working just fine. I thought that’s what I was buying.
I wouldn’t be asking for help if I didn’t need to. Please tell me why that plugin wasn’t included in the theme I purchased.

Hi. This is because in CarPress demo we don’t use Revolution Slider but its own theme slider. You can add it in the wp-admin -> slider with the slider page template. You can also read that in the documentation -> https://www.proteusthemes.com/docs/carpress/#slider

I really loved how the Car Press theme looks/functions but have a question about the Make Appointment button in the Main nav. I guess I can’t get support though.
The Auto Repair theme doesn’t seem as nice and has fewer features. I’m stuck deciding what to do here. Stay with Car Press and no support or got with the Auto Repair theme that doesn’t look/function as nice.

I would not have purchased this theme if I knew it came without support. All my other themes from ThemeForest included support. It’s apparently impossible to get a refund. I CALL RIPOFF!
