Is there a way to select pre-designed theme structure, like your “Animals” live demo example? I don’t see some of the options, like where can I select the site-wide featured slider like in that demo?

Each demo has it;s own style you can have by installing that specific demos. The slider you mention from the “Animals” demo is a revolution slider element which is included free of charge in the theme package.

I remember removing Revslider due to some issues, whether it was because it slows down the theme or there was vulnerabilities. Something along those lines. Is that something you’re aware of?

To follow up on this: I’ve tried the revslider, but it breaks our theme. We’ve got the most current theme version and the current plugin version.

There could be a plugin conflict between the theme, revolution slider and one of your plugins. Please disable all plugins except the revolution slider and the page builder and clear all caching. Then test again with only the 2 plugins active.

How do I update this theme?
I get this error: wp booster error: td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_block_1 is not set. /home/pokermagazine/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php
And because of the malware that got into your theme I’m in a lot of trouble… So please help me quickly…

Multumim pentru sugestiile facute. Referitor la tutorial, nu exista nici un astfel de tutorial deoarece plugin-ul de facebook comments nu este testat cu tema noastra. SIngurele plugin-uri testate sunt acestea:

bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site

The theme is infected, I think it has some bug that allows to insert popup ads and redirects, I have everything updated theme and wordpress and only solves the problem by changing theme.
I’ve been through this before and I found a popup code in the ads section of the theme, but now I have a redirect and I do not know where the code is placed 
I think they should review the theme because it has some weak point where it is attacked.
When the infection occurred I used version 3.4 now I updated it to 4.0 but the infection continues, how do I remove it?

Please note that the theme has to be updated along with WordPress and plugins. Old versions can have security breaches and these can be exploited by different tools.
Please make sure you update your theme, plugins and WordPress and do not stick to old versions.

Hi,
We’re using Block 12 on our homepage for a list of most recent articles, and pagination Next Prev on that block. When clicking “Next”, the page that opens has about half of the same articles (duplicates) from the previous page.
Unique Articles is ENABLED.
How do we fix this?

Please add mobile theme like Newspaper, this plugin is very useful. Now mobile usage is increasing. I want to buy Newsmag, but dont have mobile theme like Newspaper. Waiting for the next update

Yes, we have. Thank you for your concern. The article refers to a very old issue from 1 year ago though. There is so much fuss now about an issue fixed since April of 2016. If you updated your theme properly and do not use a 1 year old version, you have nothing to worry about.

Hi, I Highly appreciate your hard work for developing this excellent theme, but after the last massive update I was facing the idea of abandon VC plugin, as I’m already using VC extensively for my front page ( separators with titles, Icons, headers..etc) along with some VC extensions, and all of the elements that I used are not available with TagDivComposer…So I wish if you keep supporting VC in the future updates. Otherwise, the theme for me will be insufficient for my application.

Yes, we will still be supporting the tagdiv composer and we will still provide regular updates to it just as before. The only downside is that we will be adding new cool features and elements in the future and we won;t be implementing them into VC anymore. We will develop these options based on our own tagdiv composer.

Hi! I have been using your theme and it was fine.. but suddenly a few days ago we received new subscribers which was set off.. so I checked with sucuri and it is saying the site is affected with traffictrade dot live malware.
I see you have suggested to update the theme, but in the new theme folder I saw new child theme too.. now if I use old child theme with new updated theme it will not work? usually child themes does not change.
plz suggest how can I update my theme and get rid of the malware.

Hello,
If you use a child theme, it also has to be updated. A child theme is not update proof. The code you have in your child theme is a code from an old version of the theme. If you switch to the new version but still serve the old code through your child theme, things will not go well.

It depends on what those “styles” are. If they have been made through the theme panel, then you do not have to wirry. All of the settings from the theme panel or custom code added through the theme panel will be kept. Only custom code modification made to the theme php files will have to be re-created.

I found a strange code inside the theme panel, in the ads part. I pulled back and apparently the redirect stopped.
How did this code get inside the theme panel of yours on several different users? Is it safe to keep using the theme?

The old version from prior to April 2016 had a security issue which was patched in 6.7.2. Similarly WordPress prior to 4.7 is insecure.
