Hi @tux103,
We need more info to understand what’s going on at your end so I’ve opened up a support request under your username. You should have an email from me asking for more details. We’ll do our best to help you figure it out.
Cheers!
Adrian.
I read another post of your and updated woo commerce and it works
Good to hear that, thanks for getting back to let me know.
Cheers! Adrian
The theme gave me an heart attack, almost.
We have WordPress Multisite and we are using XStore. So, we installed this on a new site because we like the design, and it disabled WooCommerce plugin from all other child sites. I thought all 10K products and categories are deleted. I had to Network Activate the WooCommerce plugin again. puhh!!!
Its solved.
I’ve read your initial comment, it still got in my inbox. You’ve jumped the gun a little bit
Good to hear you’ve figured it out.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Sorry Adrian!
Lot of work pressure here.
Theme is really beautiful. Thank you for the hard work. I really admire your Themes.
No worries!
Best of luck with your project!
Hi there! Really love what I see of this theme. 2 question/concerns though. 1. Am only looking to deal in digital downloads – will the theme work efficiently with Easy Digital Downloads?....&....2. Am worried about using Visual Composer in terms of it affecting site speed – won’t be looking for creating super complex pages, just simple bold static design but will have very extensive product catalogue. Thanks!!
Hello,
Adrian here, happy to be talking to you about Shopkeeper. I’ll answer your questions in the next few lines.
1. Am only looking to deal in digital downloads – will the theme work efficiently with Easy Digital Downloads?
Shopkeeper is built specifically for WooCommerce, not for Easy Digital Downloads, you can see digital files with WooCommerce as well. EED is a different platform so I cannot be sure.
2. Am worried about using Visual Composer in terms of it affecting site speed – won’t be looking for creating super complex pages, just simple bold static design but will have very extensive product catalogue.
Visual Composer is optional, you can choose to turn it off a just built classic pages using the built-in WP editor.
I’ll be around if you have more questions, just let me know.
Cheers!
Adrian.

I updated my theme and now my site is broken. I get the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION.
Hello @gettanicol,
I just opened up a support request under your username and I was offering to help. Please check your inbox, we’ll be doing our best to help you get to the bottom of it. It’s not something updating the theme should result in, but I am positive we’ll figure it out togheter.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi Adrian could you come back to my emails please. The issues I’m facing are stopping my site go live and I think I have provided enough supporting documentation to show the issue is with your theme. Then you stop replying…
Hello Harry,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, they’re now assigned to one of the developers to dig deeper into it. I’ve talked to them this morning and they’ll do their best to get back with a reply asap.
Cheers!

I am trying to understand the product page layouts. It seems that the classic one I chose is using the header font choice and not the secondary font for the product description. Is there a place to edit the layout like a template? Or do I need to modify a version of it, define it as a template and then apply the template to all product pages? Will that override the default? (My client purchased the theme, I cannot log in to the Support panel) Everything is updated t the latest versions.
I found where the h3 tag was on the product info page (added for an old theme) but would still like to edit the layout. Is that possible?
Hello @jennipagano,
With the account that purchased the theme or not, we still won’t be able to help you with custom changes regretfully, they’re falling outside the support policy.
Cheers! Adrian.
Are there any plans to make the menu items more obvious like the cart icon and the search bar. My grandmother would not understand where to click.
Apart from that, amazing theme so far!
Hi Richard,
Good to hear your grandma is doing her shopping online, cool grandma!
We do consider creating additional header options, it will take a little while until we can provide a major update, but we’re getting there.
Thank you for using Shopkeeper and for taking the time to provide feedback!
Cheers!
Adrian.
I am looking to add a custom facebook converstion pixel to my thank you page…..1) does this theme have one? 2) how would I find the url without having to buy something from my own site? Thank you!!
Hi Andy,
Thank you for choosing Shopkeeper!
1) You can paste that in Appearance > Customize > Custom Code. 2) I am not sure I understand what are you trying to achieve, can you please provide more details?
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi guys – loving my themes as always—did a recent update and for whatever reason, the visual composer is refusing to install hence affect the look and feel of the website…. Any help?
Hi @Lifemangado,
We’re not aware about such issues and I am not sure what could cause that. You should go though the Troubleshooting Guide in the Help Center, maybe that will help you get to the bottom of it.
Cheers! Adrian.
Thanks Adrian for your response – there is nothing useful from your Troubleshoot Guide as started since the update. Is there a way I could please restore back the previous theme – I don’t want this latest update please – the visual composer is refusing to instead making all pages inaccessible or out of shape. Your earliest response would be highly appreciated.
Is there a way to edit the titles on the category grid element? Your demos are all centered titles and somehow mine are left, top. I would like to boost the size too. Where can I adjust? Or, what is the css edit?
Hello @jennipagano,
You should reach out to our support team to ask for help with that: http://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help
They should stay centered by default.
Cheers!
Adrian.
I am unable to log in since my client purchased the theme themselves.
Hi, is there any annual fee for this Shopkeeper theme? is the $69 a one-time fee?
Hi David,
Adrian here, happy to be talking to you about Shopkeeper.
The $69 fee is a one-time fee and it includes six month of support. Optionally, you can extend your support plan for longer than 6 months but, again, it’s optional. Updates are provided anyways.
I will be around if you have any other questions and I would be happy to help.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi Adrian,
Thank you for your quick reply. Very helpful.
Apart from that, if I were to get the Shopkeeper theme, how do I do the following?
i) Keep track of my orders and shipment ii) Customer information (Email, date of creation, etc) iii) Payment information
Thanks a bunch.
WooCommerce handles all that and you will be able to see it all in your administration dashboard. If you’re new to WooCommerce you’ll find the video guides in the Help Center useful. Here’s everything you need to know about managing your online store: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/categories/201772465-WooCommerce-User-Guide
I believe that’s what you’re after. I’ll stick around in case you have more questions.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi, Could you update VC in your theme please from 5.2.0 to 5.2.1? Dropdowns in editor stopped working and apparently that fixes it.
Hello there,
Sure, the latest version of Visual Composer was made available as soon as it was released, you should be able to perform the update.
Check out the Help Center article: How to update Visual Composer?.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Thanks Adrian, Unfortunately that menu is gone in v2.2 and there is no option to update the plugins. Or am I missing something?
Could be. Make sure you have the latest version of the Get Bowtied Tools plugin installed. You you don’t, grab it from here: Download Get Bowtied Tools
Once it’s installed and activated, go to Shopkeeper > Updates and make sure updates are activated by connecting your Envato Account.
This is what you should be looking for on your screen:
Once updates are activated you should get the notification to update Visual Composer as well.
Hope this helps.
Cheers! Adrian.
It appears like the Get Bowtied Tools plugin isn’t installed or activated. Please check that under the Plugins section in your admin dashboard.
It was there activated, just installed the version you mentioned but result is still the same. I will do a clean install later on and let you know the result. Cheers
OK, please do that. I will be now looking forward on hearing back from you.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi Adrian, all working fine again after reinstalling the template. Thanks
Good to hear that! Thanks for getting back to let me know.
Cheers!
Adrian.
I tried to open a ticket but couldn’t login. Anyway I have trouble with the pop up messages in the checkout page They show up on top of each others and you can only see the top one . I got message for point and rewards , message for min fulfillment time and message for min order amount. is there a code or a fix that and make the messages stack below each other or To make time of display on the one in the back is a bit longer so when the one on top disappeared the bottom one will be still on the screen enough to read it.
Hi @mdardir,
It looks like your support plan is expired, so that must be the reason for not being able to submit a support request.
I just sent your note to our developers to perform further testing with the plugin. Hopefully if they find a fix, they’ll include it with the following update.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Thanks Adrian however even after I purchased a premium plugin to handle all my woocommerce messages and info’s the pop up messages still firing up is there anyway to disable it and just return to the default woocommerce way??
Regretfully not. I understand however how important that is and the best I can help you with right now is to let you know that our developers are working on adding classic notices as an option with one of the following updates.
Thanks!
Adrian.
When I apply a filter is displays twice above the products (EG: when I click Shoes) https://zikitextiles.com/SHOPKEEPER
Hi @envisiondesign,
I see what you mean. That doesn’t look live native theme or WooCommerce functionality, it looks like a custom / plugin powered widget so that’s what you should be looking into. Probably it’s not compatible with the theme so my best suggestion is to search for an alternative.
Cheers! Adrian.
Ok, I deactivated. How do I get the filters as shown in your demo? Is that a widget or something else?
We use the native WooCommerce widgets in the demo. The “WooCommerce Product Categories” widget and the “WooCommerce Layered Nav” widget to display filters based on the products attributes associated with the products in the store.
If there’s anything else you need help with while setting up the theme, please reach out to our support team via https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help We’ll always do our best to help.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Ok, great. Is there a “clear filters” button somehwere so that I can deselect things selected? EG: If I click “womens” it filters, but I cannot clear that filter.
WooCommerce has an additional “Active filters” widget which you can add to the sidebar as well.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hmmm, I am not seeing that. Is that part of the build or something I need to go get?
Sorry, it is now called “WooCommerce layered nav filters”: https://screencast.com/t/R9XggVe5lpe That’s what you should be looking for.
Cheers! Adrian.
Hello,
I’ve got a problem installing the Get Bowtied – Tools plugin. When I click install, the following notification pops up:
“Installing Plugin: GetBowtied Tools Downloading install package from https://api.getbowtied.com/v2/getbowtied-tools/update.php…
Download failed. cURL error 7: couldn’t connect to host
Plugin not activated. A higher version of GetBowtied Tools is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.
TGMPA v2.6.1 Return to Required Plugins Installer”
I hope you can help me.
Warmest regards Séverin
PS: the link which is shown above doesn’t work either, unfortunately.
Hello there,
This is Adrian, I will be doing my best to help you get to the bottom of this issue.
I am not sure what’s causing that. Please manually install the plugin, you can grab it from here: http://my.getbowtied.com/getbowtied-tools/getbowtied-tools.zip I am hoping that will help you get past this issue.
If you won’t be able to figure it out, please reach out to the support team via https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.design and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password. We’ll login, check the setup and will assist your further with the setup.
Cheers! Adrian.
thank you so much for your help, it worked!
So good to hear that! Don’t forget to bookmark https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.design for future referece.
Cheers! Adrian.
Hi, I purchased the Shopkeeper theme. Your Updates History (Changelog) says you have replaced the framework, and it says the automatic update feature will convert existing [standard] settings for the new framework, but the updater is not working, only returning an error stating “The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.” Furthermore, the Activate Theme Updates link only goes to an error page. (I submitted a support ticket, but in a week of dialog, no reasonable solution has been offered.) From comments here, I am apparently not the only one experiencing this. Will there be a fix soon?
Hi @ynotsmile,
Hmmm, that’s weird. It does seem to be working fine at this end.
Would you please open up a support request? You can do that via https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help Please just provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password, we’ll assign a developer to look into it and I am positive they’ll be able to get down to the bottom of it.
Cheers! Adrian.
I already opened a support request, as mentioned. Your solution was to FTP upload the updated theme file, which would forego the conversion of existing [standard] settings for the new framework, destroying the build. Obviously, that is not an acceptable or reasonable solution, which is why I have now written you here.
Hi Kelly,
I took over your support request and I just sent a new note. Let’s see how that goes. I’ll do my best to help you get to the bottom of it.
Cheers!
Adrian.
Hi, I just purchased the shopkeeper theme. When I am attempting to update it it will not let me and just gives me error message stating that the site is not available. I also attempted to get an activation key, but none to be found anywhere. So, I can not activate it, much less update it. Same for the Visual composer, attempted to get it updated but all I get is error messages how the site can not be reached. Same for activation key, nowhere to be found. Is there anyway to handle this. Please let me know how to resolve this. Tks.
Hello @Mr_Ramgis,
This is Adrian. Thank you for choosing Shopkeeper!
You shouldn’t need an actual activation key, you should be able to validate your license on the fly, by simply logging into your Envato Account: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/articles/207365285-How-to-update-the-theme-
If you haven’t been able to get to the bottom of it by now, please reach out to our support team via: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help We’ll always do our best to help.
Cheers! Adrian.
Hi and thanks for the reply. Yes, I did exactly per your link on how to update the theme. Unfortunately it does not work. All I get is this error message.
“This site can’t be reached
