I saw someone else talking about the layout breaking. Same thing happened to me. Extra space on shop page and checkout.

I can confirm now that it’s a bug and we’ll do our best to release a new maintenance update sooner than schedule, by tomorrow and will include the fix for it, but I am talking about the extra space on the shop page in case there aren’t any widgets in the sidebar, but I am not familiar with anything related to the checkout page.
Can you tell me more about the issue you’re experiencing?

Is there a way to remove the shop sidebar? I didn’t have it in the previous versions, but now I cant remove it and its this blank space on my shop page. PS This is from the user cloptic, this is my second envato account. And the system says my support just expired.
I guess I don’t get any help due to expired support. You might want to know that the empty sidebar section disappeared when I populated the sidebar with a widget and had it set to offscreen. Only way I could get it to go away.

Still, not sure then why the help center keeps on trying to log you in using the other account. Please clear the browser cache after login using this username or even better, try a different browser for this account, just to make sure.
Now getting back to the issue you came here for, I spoke with our developers and it looks like a bug. We’ll do our best to release a new update by tomorrow that will include the fix for it.
You should get an email and a notification in the administration bar as soon as it’s made available.

Hi, I purchased Shopkeeper some time ago and have been very happy, except this most recent update (again) broke the layout of my shop. There is now an extra column of space before all of my items on the shop page.

I’ll start by letting you know that the update shouldn’t have broken the shop in any way, so we would have to check what’s happening at your end to be able to get to the bottom of it. Please go to https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help and submit a support request We will then assign it to a developers to assist you. Just make sure to provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password.
Also, you need to login with the account used to purchase Shopkeeper, it appears like it isn’t his one: “cloptic”.

Thanks for that, but the system insists I don’t have the theme or that the API isnt working.
I was expecting that and that’s why I made the note to make sure you’re logged in with the correct account, cause “cloptic” doesn’t seem to be the one. You must have purchased the theme under a different username.
Can you look into that please?

WooCommerce, which is the eCommerce engine of Shopkeeper, has built-in functionality for user accounts and that includes user login and registration. If you’re after more than that, feel free to test different plugins until you find one that suits your needs best.

Hi my name is Evelyn and couple of months ago i purchased the ShopKeeper theme; which is great. Hi, I have a licence for this theme, although support has expired. I am still being offered theme updates, but with the last one several settings changed and even content disappeared. This has not happened before. I had the site restored and my hosting provider suggested updating the php, which I did but the same happened upon theme update. I’m now having to restore my site for a second time. Does the fact that my support has expired now also mean that theme updates will no longer work?

You need to make sure you’ve also updated WooCommerce and Visual Composer. If you’ve used custom code, move it to a child-theme.

Thank you, Alexandra, I too thought that updates were for life, they are with other themes. I do use a child theme. Every single update went well (I switched away from the child theme, updated the main theme and then switched back), except for this one – my footer disappears, the font size changes, the header changes. Are you saying that making sure that WooCommerce and Visual Composer are up to date could prevent this? It’s awkward that udpates stop working once my support expires – why would I suddenly need extra support for regular theme updates?
The WooCommerce database and Visual Composer indeed needed updating, which I’ve done – should I try another theme update, with the risk of having to have the site restored again?

Hello,
You need to make sure you’re using the newest version of GetBowtied Tools (2.1). Once you’re using that version of GetBowtied Tools, if the theme update won’t work you can try to Disconnect your theme license and connect it once more.

To get the child theme, you need to go back to your themeforest account and download the All files & documentation package. In there you’ll find the child-theme.zip which you need to install in Appearance > Themes > Add New.

I have checked you sit and I can see what you mean. The mega menu wasn’t built to support that many columns, the consideration is that such a long menu becomes redundant for a user when navigating the site. Less is more. My best advice is to try and reorganize your menus in a fashion that has less links, maybe more subcategories.

I get what you mean and that’s the default behavior. Until the large image loads, the thumb is being displayed instead of showing an empty space. However, this may get to be a visual issue if for some reason the overall loading time is long, site may be slow.

Hi. I’m having an issue with the fonts. I’ve changed to a Google Font and everything works fine, but everytime I load the webpage there is a second (or less time) when a different font appears until it suddenly changes to the right one. Is there any way of fixing that?

By default, the colors of the button changes along with the global options in the Customizer. There’s no built-in option that would allow you to change the colors of that specific button.
