Oh my, we apologise for that. Ticksy was once again undergoing some maintance and hopefully it’s going to be all okay in the upcoming period… To decrease the padding, please edit the Row that contains the video and set it’s top padding to 0. You may do the same for the row holding team members and decrease it’s bottom padding.

That worked, thanks! Last question, how do I change the rollover color on the icons in our SERVICES section? I don’t see a place to change it. In theme 02….the footer. Is that done in a visual composer and part of the page, or is there an actual place you can edit the footer? I can’t find ANYWHERE to add links or pictures, etc to the footer except the simple edit box on the north footer small HTML box. So do I need to do all HTML to control the footer like the example in 02? Thanks

Are you sure you have the latest theme version installed? If you do then you can update the Visual Composer plugin through Appearance / Install Plugins menu. Please see this article for more information:

I did install version 3.95, but for some reason that plugin will not update. What else do you suggest? If I delete it will the theme direct me to reload it? Alos, send me the code to update the map marker, I can do it thanks!

This is strange. What you may try is deactivating the Visual Composer plugin, delete it and install it from scratch via Appearance / Install Plugins menu. That is a final way and should definitely do the job. Regarding the code: what I meant with an additional code tweak is that it would be more of a customization job which is beyond the scope of our free support.

Filip – Thx for getting back to me. Deleting the plugin and then reinstalling worked perfectly, thank you. Ticksy is currently not working, so let me ask you another question. I want to start using the blog to post stuff, one a one page site like mine, how do I make the anchor links still work when navigating from the blog page(s)? Lastly…this theme is GREAT, best I ever used. But other themes allow you to easily upload a custom map maker right in the config popup box. How come this theme cannot do that? Just curious thanks!

North comes with a full package of FontAwesome icons that you can preview here and you can use any of the following icons in any theme part:

Hi,
I bought your theme which is great but I have an issue. Is it possible to use the dark theme setting for the home page and loader but the white setting for all the other pages and woocommerce pages? Because when I use the dark setting for everything, It’s weird in the product page, account page,etc. Some woocomerce feature stays white like the description zone in the product page, some parts in the account page… I think I saw it was possible to do that on the demo…

Well, it’s of course possible to apply the dark skin to a particular page but it will require some tweaks in the theme’s code. Please don’t make me spend $42 to renew support just to ask whether or not it’s possible to close sub-menu items after you expand them on mobile?
Usually there’s a + plus icon to expand/close. Anything like that or no?

hi guys, after the last update i see that there are 2 new plugins prepacked with the theme, “Quick Link” and “Timetable” are these pugins really prepacked? because i didn’t find any reference in the changelog of the theme updates, can you clarify me this point? Thanks in advance

that’s wierd! i restored my entire site from a backup copy and then updated it again and now these 2 plugins are disappeared…. furthermore this happened again to me today while i was updating another website which runs another theme…i will investigate more about this but it’s clearly not a problem of north theme…. sorry if i asked about this issue

The theme is fully compatible with the latest WordPress version. There aren’t any significant changes in the WP core that would require us to update the theme. If there was, we’d update our theme right away.
