Hello, thank you for kind words. Generally, Opta should work fine with WooCommerce but I have not tested. You will need to add some extra CSS to fit the theme style, so there will be some work, sorry.

If we decide to include the WooCommerce in some of next updates, I will let you know. We current don’t have theme with WooCommerce, sorry.

First, when you create a Portfolio Item, below the editor, there is Portfolio Preference where you can set “Thumb text on mouse over” (which should not be the same as Portfolio Item title), to use Quote instant of image, to set link to post/external site/no link option etc…

All this options are not available on Post Item, so if you need any of this, there will be a little bit more work.

When you download zip file from Theme Forest, unzip that file and inside it you will find:

- MANUAL – OptaWP.pdf (documentation file) - DEMO CONTENT folder (in this folder is placed XML file which you need to import in your theme to have look like our demo site) - SITE folder (in this folder is placed opta-wp.zip file which is theme installation file, that file you need to install the theme)

On our “Gallery” page, in carousel slider (which is created by featured images of each gallery item) by default is used this code for featured image:

get_the_post_thumbnail($post->ID, 'large');

That mean, the max resolution will be 1024×1024px. You can use vertical images to max height 1024px.

If your question is about images on “Home” page, there by default the max width for image is 559px – with this limitation you will have at least 2 images in row. This limitation can be changed with one line of CSS code – we can help you with that. Yes, vertical images are supported on “Home” page and there is no limit in “height”.

If you already know your images sizes, you can contact me over the mail here from TF and I will make you print-screen with your images to see how will looks.

I will past you a code which you need to add in Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

This code will add “underline” effect to menu items and to all links inside Page and Post content. Also, there is some limitations – “underline” effect can not be used for links which are in two lines (for example Blog Title). Also, if a link font is small, you will probably need to use different height for underline line (default is 3px).

However, try this code, and if you need some more customization (if there is some link which is not selected with code below) or anything else, please contact me on our support forum (probably the code will be longer) and I will try to fix it.

On Gallery page is a image carousel ( http://demo.cocobasic.com/opta-wp/gallery/ ) which is created by featured images of each gallery item, and there is no option to have a video instead of a image. There is a option to put a video inside a gallery item like this http://demo.cocobasic.com/opta-wp/gallery/reminiscences-from-paris/

Just to be clear, we are talking about white background on Home page? There is no option by default to put video in background on Home page. It can be done using this tutorial https://envato.com/blog/video-background-html5-video/ (the video must be selfhosted). We can help you with that.

As you see, there is a custom filed called “Item Info” and that content is displayed on left part on screen ( http://demo.cocobasic.com/opta-wp/portfolio/clothes/ ) You can use there code like this:

or you can use any other valid HTML code, without shorcodes.

- You are right, there are no tabs, alerts, etc.. by default with theme. If this is important part for you, you can use some 3rd part plugin and we will help you with CSS modification to fit in theme.

We can help you to add the “related posts feature” – it can be our own code to show related posts by category or we can help you with some plugin which use shorcode for related posts.

I will try to explain how themes works/looks on back end side.

- Home page is a custom page template (“Portfolio”) which is showing all custom “Portfolio” posts. Print screen of Home page:

As you see, there is a “Portfolio” template selected for “Page Attributes”. Also, below the editor, there is “Page Preference” section where you can set your custom title/text for page and page description. This options are available for all “Pages” (on our demo we have used only on Home page)

- Each “Portfolio” item has this options in “Portfolio Preference”

Here you can set ”Mouse over text​”, you can set link for Portfolio  Thumb - you can set to link to current post, to set link to external site or to set ”no link”.  Also, here you can set ”Item Quote​” text - if you set some text here, on home page will be portfolio item with quote text (thumb image will not be displayed). “​Header Content​” will be displayed in head of single portfolio item, and  here you can place image, text, video (iframe Vimeo, YouTube), google map, image slider…

- About page looks like this:

Here you can see shortcode for columns, text slider, skils… Also, here you can see [box_page] shortcode which will expand page width to 1140px (image width is on About page is bigger than rest of content). There is also [full_page] shortcode for full width.

Theme comes with shortcode generator.
