Hi, please could you answer me on these pre-purchase questions:
1. is it possible to remove/hide “read more” below the text on the slider? 2. is it possible to remove/hide “Latest news” & “Our brochure” parts? I assume it is a sidebar which can be hidden, but just want to be sure before buying.

Yes to both questions. In the first case, a small tweak is needed(that we can provide on our support forum) and for the second question, yes that is a sidebar and you have an option to just disable it for your homepage.

Hi. We have purchased the theme and installed it. Are there known issues with the theme options: General, Styling options, Homepage, Blog, Portfolio1 etc, as we are having problems.
None of the changes we are making in the theme options are outputting to the site?

This theme was recently updated to version 3.0 and we are 100% sure there are no such problems. Please make sure you are using the latest theme version on wordpress 3.5 and you have installed it correctly ( http://www.goldenworks.eu/support/topic/how-to-properly-install-your-theme-fixing-broken-themes ).

Unfortunately no, we don’t have it. The theme’s content has been completely changed when it was updated and we didn’t have time to also update the demo. I would like to purchase this theme but before I do, I would like to know if it is compatible with Wordpress 3.5 MU or if you have tested it.

The theme is compatible with wordpress 3.5. The Wordpress MU was incorporated into wordpress since version 3.0, it’s not a separate product anymore.
Also, keep an eye on updates, we have at least 1 big update in the pipeline for this theme.

Hi starshade, Great theme and fab support, the theme is great but I was wondering if you could help find where I can change the colour of the body font to black instead of gray? I was looking through “style.css” and when opened in dreamweaver I can see where it is but if I change it and copy it back, it screws up the whole site. Is there an easy place I can edit this?

Colors are changed from the css skin file associated with the skin you are using. So if you are using the default white red skin, then you should edit the white_red.css file from the “styles” folder.

We’ve got our site almost complete till we found this problem. In the sub navigation menu (in… sf-menu ul a) on firefox we had to slightly widen the text background to accommodate the words that were wrapping around over top of each other, but IE9 instead displayed a gap in the background between each item at the end of the widened section.
Is there a fix?

On your demo site, how did you create the “Latest Works” section with the thumbnails for TGV Parts, High end circuits, and Gardens of Eden?
The latest works section is populated with latest portfolio entries from either portfolio 1 or portfolio 2. You have this option in Appearance -> Theme Options -> Portfolio Options tab -> From what portfolio section you want your latest entries to be displayed on homepage ?.
Obviously you will have to create some portfolio entries in the first place.
I just uploaded the theme and the homepage is severely scattered. Not really sure what’s going on but I sent you an email.
Also, do you by any chance have a demo file so we can import it and have things pre-set?
The problem happens because you didn’t insert a title to your search widget. With no titles, the widgets will break the layout.
Unfortunately we don’t have demo content for this theme at the moment, but if you encounter issues with it, just let us know on the forums and we will help you.
Hi Starshade, I really like your theme, and found it easy to work with but I do have a quick question, how do I change the font colour to a custom colour… I’m guessing that its in “cufon-yui.js” but as I don’t have any programming skills, I don’t want to mess about with it! Thanks and keep up the good work!! 
Font color is changed from the associated skin you are using. If you are using the white red skin, then go to styles folder, open white_red.css and edit the color code:

You simply create an account and wait for the confirmation email to arrive. Sometimes the confirmation email can arrive a bit later, other times within seconds – make sure you also check your spam folder.

This theme, like all our themes are all supported and the current version supports wordpress 3.3. We haven’t update it lately because it was not necessary.
However, we currently don’t plan to release a mobile version for this theme.
I mean to have the blog in two columns instead of one, in the front page. And a third column for widget area at the right side of the front page. Thank you.
I understand now. This would be possible, but only by editing the theme code because you actually want to change the way the blog entries are displayed.

Without customizations to the theme code it’s not possible to have the blog on homepage. Also I don’t understand what are you referring to by “and in two columns at the left and a widget area to the right”. It will help if you could detail a bit.

As a follow up to my comment above, I also have an issue with the template. This is what i’m being told in my Dashboard.

I downloaded the theme over the weekend and I’ve been playing with it for most of the day. When I previewed before I bought, I noticed the text menus on the upper right hand side ( Home, About Us, Templates & Contact ). I can’t figure out how to get that menu up so I can navigate to other pages. Can you tell me where to set this up?
