I have the theme setup and working but I cannot get the blog page to display correctly. In WP under reading I have the dedicated page set as “blog” but when I visit the blog page to display the blog posts it says “Hi and welcome to innova construct wordpress theme. Please note that this is not the actual homepage of the theme” – And no matter what I change I cannot get it to display my recent blog posts. Can someone help ?
Fixed it. I had blog set for page under reading. I unspecified a page and now it works.

Unfortunately we don’t have a date when we will do it or if we will ever do it. Currently we are working on a new wordpress theme and there’s no time to add big improvements at the older themes right now.

Yes the theme is compatible with wordpress 4.1. If you would detail what errors you are receiving we will definately help you and also fix the errors by updating the theme.
On my website www.HJDCapital.com. The Slider used to work fine, but after the update, when I add slider images to the Featured Image, the system makes the images skewed. Previously uploaded images look fine. This only occurs with newly uploaded images.
Is this an issue with the theme or the latest Version of WP?
I found the issue. Its in the theme-functions.php. I changed the dimensions of the slider-thumb back to 630×301. It was set to 270×302 for some reason.

I don’t know how you got that dimension in the first place. I checked the theme files and in the latest version of the theme, 3.4.2, the slide-thumb is defined to 631×302.

The theme is compatible with WPML, but lacks custom styling for the language switcher. In regards to rtl, I’m afraid no, it doesn’t come with and rtl css file.

Whats the easiest way for me to upgrade my install of this to the latest version without damaging my current website?

The update is done by overwriting the files you have on your server with the latest version. Depending on how old is the version you are using, you might lose some theme settings after the update. Also, if you made changes to the theme files, when updating you will be losing them.

When creating the homepage, make sure you are using “Homepage” from template dropdown in the “Page Attributes” box. Then make sure you set this page as your homepage from Settings -> Reading.

There is no service page template. To re-create the service sections, you need to use the toggle shortcode inside a normal page:

I suppose you are referring to the menu. The menu is setup like any other wordpress 3.0 menu. You just drag and drop your pages inside the menu. Please check out the documentation that comes with the theme that explains exactly how it’s setup.

hi when i click on ‘Contact us’ (not the menu item’ the one with a envelop by its side located at the top of each page except the home page, it does nothing. how do i change the url location. Can i change contact us to something else and change the picture. Thanks

Our theme doesn’t come with any RTL support so this feature is not supported. You should contact the person who created the RTL version, not us.

You have indeed created an awesome theme! I am about to purchase the theme but before I go ahead I would like to ask a couple of pre-sales queries.
1. Is it possible to have a separate colour strip for the main navigation menu and make it left align? I want this as the default menu style is very simple and does not catch the eye instantly.
2. Is it possible to have a full page slider image and remove the descriptive text altogether?
3. Are there any plans to integrate external sliders like the Revolution Slider?
4. Is it possible to have a full width footer section of any dark color?
Looking forward for a reply from your end at your earliest as its a bit urgent for me.

2. With changes to the theme slider yes, it’s possible, but this is a request that is not covered by our support. You will have to hire a developer to help you with this

Yes, but only vimeo videos can be used in the slider.
Solved. I have just disabled those Widgets included in the Default Sidebar on Appearance > Widgets.
