Hi ppl, is there any way to adjust boxes with 50% height and 50% width? For example I got a row with 4 columnes first and second are 100% height and 25% width. Third and fourth should contain two rows, it should look like they are split into 4 boxes with equal sizes where box 1 and 4 containing a background-image or image which uses the full size and Box 2 and 3 containing text.

I have used this theme for a few years without issue till now and I am not sure if I don’t have my portfolio set right or if something changed on an update. When I click my portfolio the only of the three links that works is the magnifier. The other options (going to the link button or text link, goes to blank pages. www.jillshepherddesign.com Can you let me know where I would edit that info or turn those options on or off?

Looks like a permalink issue to me so please go to WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and make sure that they are set to postname and then click on “Save” button once.
However if you want to turn them off please go to Avada > Theme Options > Extras > Featured Image Rollover and you can disable them from there.

The color for this can simply be changed from Avada > Theme Options > Color > Primary Color

Hey there, we are trying to get rid of some styles in css. For example ”.product .product-border” with no borders and some font sizes. All styles belong to upload/fusion-styles/fusionXXX Where exactly are those styles inherited?

You can actually overwrite those styles using custom CSS inside our Avada > Theme Options > Custom CSS Tab as over riding them or changing them directly in theme CSS file is never a good idea, it will just be removed on each theme update so you can either use the child theme in this case for that you do not need to override the styles in parent theme, you can just put them inside your own child theme style.css file or simply use the custom CSS field in our theme options.

Hi we have compatible issues with WPML plugin and AVADA, the thing is when someone go to http://amalcosmetics.com/basket/ with a product added to the cart and swap the language, the product title is not showing in the correct language.
So to see the issue, first you´ll need to add to the cart a product and in the cart page you´ll see if you swap to another language that the product title keep the last language.
Can you advise me on it?

Just a few more questions for my planned directory website
1> Can I have advanced search option i.e business + city + state 2> How many customers database can I list on my website 3> Can I have many categories options that I can link to my search 4> Is there a booking calender available 5> Can customer claim business 6> Can I receive payment from paypal, credit cards 7> I will need translation from English to Thai too
I guess if some of the above features are not available then can I buy some plugins that will work with the theme.

These will indeed require some advanced plugins actually, you will be requiring a search plugin that is coded mainly for the real estate and you can find many in this case doing a simple google search, also you will probably need to create a custom port type for this or just use a real estate plugin that might offer everything in a bundle
Regarding translation our theme is 100% compatible with WPML where you can translate our theme into any language you want or use multiple languages at same time.

For some reason whilst using the fusion builder – my changes won’t save. I’m simply trying to change images in the containers and add parallax but it keeps reverting back to how it was prior to the changes.

Should never happen at all, please make sure that none of your 3rd party plugin is causing the issue here or also check for any kind of cache being the issue and also check your console for any errors.

In the banner section, must the logo be a *.jpg image only—or can I use a *.mp4 or other video file

Hi, why are all you JS files minified?
I am looking at Avada trying to decide if I should use it for future projects for my clients, however I need to be able to modify some js/jquery code.
But your kit, even though it includes .psd files and all sorts of files, does not include the unminified versions! A developer does need them.
Hoping to get an answer soon as I need to make a purchase decision soon.

Yes we do You can do anything you wish with Avada.
We have advanced modes for performance reasons, for example a CSS compiler that compiles all css into one file, and also a JS complier.
There is also a “dev mode” you can turn on or off, which will allow you to modify any js file you need. Go to theme options > advanced > css/js compiler and change the setting there
