How do I translate “UpSell Products”. It seems it is hardcoded to .php and loco translations are not helping. Also, the footer text (Designed by WPThemeGo.com) can be only altered via hardcoding the php??
Solved by adding wante .po and .mo lang files to hitheme/lang folder using Loco Translate. Footer text yet remains unsolved as it is hard coded.

This theme has insane amounts of issues. Not to mention the SUPPORT TICKETING SYSTEM does NOT WORK CORRECTLY. You cannot check the status of your ticket by using your email address and TICKET #, as it specifies; the application just FUCKING FAILS.
The “one click demo install,” is NOT as easy as they contend. It’s basically nearly impossible with all of the typical PHP limits most wordpress sites have, so good luck going and editing PHP.ini and or .user.ini with the right stuff. And even thereafter, the media and files in the one click demo CONTINUE TO FAIL, with an unresponsive support team.
Don’t buy this theme all. WAIT UNTIL THEY FIX SOME OF THIS BASIC SHIT.

No – your TICKET SYSTEM redirects back to the initial login to create or check ticket status, WITHOUT SUBMITTING THE TICKET. I’ve been back and forth, HAVING CREATED 7 + TICKETS ALREADY that did not submit correctly. Multiple browsers, etc. THIS IS IN LINE WITH THE THEME HERE, which is that your technology is buggy as hell.

I’m interested in this theme. However, I noticed that in the mobile demo (http://demo.wpthemego.com/themes/sw_hitheme_mobile/#) the “TODAY DEAL” items do not click through to the individual product view/page. It appears that they are not links. I also checked it directly on a mobile device but same thing. I would find it hard to believe, but is this true? I would need these items to link/clickthrough to the specific product. Just want to make sure this obvious feature will work before I spend the $60 for the theme. Thanks!

I found a huge Mistake on your Theme!
-If i choose a special category in Shop for example Shoes, then the Shop only Show all shoes from this category.
PROBLEM IS: The Category Field is missing now to go back with an X- to all Products …or choose other Category ….
Can you please FIX this… i need it for my shop that customer can chosse the Category from MENU…
for example SHoes for Women…. choosen from the megamenu …but then customer have to Press Shop to see all other products or category..

excerpts not working, I have added the manual excerpt to my posts but when on the home page it shows the grid but posts show full text and images in the except with is 2000+ words. how to add excerpts to post slider, same as on your demo site blog layout? I really don’t know why I keep playing with this theme. nothing seems to work as it should.

this issue was reported 8 days ago now. still no resolution. anyone else has issues please call me 07400057333, I could do with joint evidence to help in this case, I am taking wpthemego to court. 2 months working with this theme, with website still at the beginning of development. this theme has cost me a £4000 contract. Be prepared and expect contact from my lawyer.

Thanks so much for your patience. However, I need to confirm some points here:
1. You reported the issue in the ticket on 28/08, and today is 31/08, is it 08 days ago now?
2. You created ticket with duplicated content, then to easier for both of us to follow the issue, we closed one and also informed you in the ticket. Also, for any customer using our ticket system, they know that customer can continue the ticket normally even when the ticket is closed.
3. We have been supporting you in the ticket – and reply you no more than 24 hours. Because the issue need fixing in code, the FTP account should be included then we can fix for you.
However, you provide us with the account that do not let us to write or edit then we could not fix it. Then we ask you for other one.
With the new one, we check and see that even when the code changing, your site remains the same, even when all the code in your site is removed (we made a test for this). It may be caused by the server cache. Now please contact your hosting provider to turn off the cache then we will continue to fix and check your site correctly.

sorry, 7 days then! Even then it took the request for a refund to get you off your butts, seems like longer than 7 days, to be honest.
The first day I contacted they asked for the admin account, not FTP. The theme can be edited from WP admin. There was no mention of you requiring access to FTP account.

It took 72 hours for a reply to my original ticket, here are the times as copied from the tickets, these times a between your responses 08/26/2017 10:00am 08/29/2017 10:17am this is a wait of 72h 17minutes and not 24hours that you mention. this has also cost me a £4000 contract that should have been completed on Monday but due to the issues with the theme and included plugins I could not do anything but wait for you. I wish now that I looked elsewhere. I put my trust in you and your company and really I can honestly say it was a major mistake by me I can handle mistakes and even have forgiveness for mistakes but blatantly lying is unforgivable. 24 hours reply time? go away.

Copy of My review The Hitheme code is a mess, Hitheme css files include all options even if they are not selected. the same with JS. The whole Hitheme and pages are spammed with demo.wpthemego.com/themes/sw_hitheme link even the Hitheme register link on the theme points to wpthemego. all social links like fb and twitter are hidden inside widgets and pages and all point to wpthemego social networks. theme is created to give them backlinks. I can not believe you charge for this. I did not ask for all your links to be plastered and hidden all over the Hitheme. why when i update social networks inside the theme setting do i then need to go looking for hidden links? why is the theme default register page pointing to wpthemego? why are alot of og images pointing to wpthemego? really people best to stay clear of this one and in fact all wpthemego themes. they are all spammed with wpthemego links. Code is old even tho the theme is quite new why is the majority of files from 2015 2014. It is disgusting. now I have modified the theme and spent a few months debugging the code I now class this as my own theme. this was the reason I purchased a theme so i could concentrate on content and promotion. Really people don’t waste your time. get a designer to create a simple theme because most often this is all you need. Trust me you will get a massive headache using wpthemgo. sorry guys but really, clean up the old code instead of just adding to it. and if i disable an option then have it automatically removed from the loaded css and js. Im not using a shop but still the code is in my loaded css and js when its not being used. just a dirty way to deliver content. I have been designing websites for 18 years this has to be the worst coding I have ever come across just because it works does not mean its correct. Green is the way and the hitheme is far from green and google will let you know that if you buy. very very bad code

About the points you mentioned above:
1. About the CSS and JS files, we put them in a file to minimize the file request.
2. If you use the quickstart or import demo data, the demo data will be available in your site. After that, you can replace the demo data including image, link, content into yours. We do not fix the link in code and you can edit in in the backend of your site. If you don’t use any element, you can remove or delete it.
I confirm that we do not add hidden link to get backlinks to our site and you said! This is not acceptable. If we do this, you are not the only one tell that! and Themeforest won’t approve the theme here.
3. If you do not use shop, you just need to remove WooCommerce plugin then there won’t be code for shop anymore.
4. About the “old code” from 2015, 2014 as you mean – this is not problem! If it still work well and cause no bug, we can use it. In our theme, if anything causes bug, we will update.
You’re an experience user, then I think that you understand these points. I checked our Support System http://support.ytcvn.com/ and see only your 01 ticket from July to request the update for WooCommerce. We released 02 updated versions after that. I hope that you updated in your site. If there is any issue or question, you can contact us then our team will support you.

1. over usage of css and js. here is result on fresh theme install with woo plugin This page has 43 external Javascript scripts. Try combining them into one. This page has 20 external stylesheets. Try combining them into one These results are unacceptable.
There are 2355 DOM elements on the page from as seen on your demo site. are you really saying that this is acceptable? this is madness gone mad.
2. demo data. example. register to our site link. points to. http://demo.wpthemego.com/themes/sw_hitheme/?page_id=7 Why add that? I dont want my customers going to register on your site. this is not required even in a demo you should just put /wp-login.php?action=register after all this is a wordpress theme and standard wordpress register page. why put a link to register to your website?3. woocommerce. whether or not woocommerce is used there is still 20k lines of code in the css app-default.css and thats just one of the many css files included in the theme.
4. old code. The code used is not valid! its scrap book code this should not be used in production. the whole point about valid code is that it works it all browsers and it has been security passed. the code you use can be manipulated and is not secure. As i said earlier just because it seems to work does not mean there is no problems.
obviously your an experienced support agent and I know you understand the true facts that i am stating.
And yes I did update the theme and no its still does not work as intended out of the box.
one issue i can recall was the list by function Ascending descending does not work still on the new theme.
However functionality was not so much of an issue the review was for bad coding.
Seems like you just copy themes and just add css.
I know what your game is and i don’t like it. I think I will report this to themeforest thanks for pointing that out to me.

For this one, if you don’t want to show them, for the SKU, you don’t need to input this field for the product then it won’t appear in your site.

Let me try to explain this for a third time, so you can understand. I HAVE ALREADY UPDATED THE THEME TO THE LATEST VERSION THAT WAS RELEASED A FEW DAYS AGO.
Then AFTER the update, in the Wordpress admin area of my site, two of the plugins that came bundled with the theme are showing that there are updates to those two plugins.
So my question is, do I run the updates via the Wordpress plugin update system? Or do I wait for another theme update and go through the ridiculous convoluted way you guys do theme updates?
