Dears, I have purchased Jobify + WP Job Manager Core Add-on to try to make as Extended demo site. However, when try to post a job, and click “Choose a package” , it does not forward to Job Package Listing, it just go to Paypal directly and cause error. Also, incase i add sample product and go to Proceed Checkout, then use Paypal, seem no error. Please support me! Thank you,

Dears,

I found that it caused by Simple Paid List pluggin.

After Simple Paid Listings, after click “Choose a package” it will forward to Job package listing.

There should be mentioned in Core Add-Ons clearly.

I will close this thread.

Thank you,

Great theme! We need additional components built into the theme and we are hoping your developers can help. We are willing extra for this and would like to know how much it will cost. Here is the two additional components we need: 1) We would like to set up a questionnaire that each applicant needs to fill out in during their registration process, and based on their answers they get matched up automatically to specific job postings. Basically we are trying to create an automated matching service for your theme. 2) We need to have a built in system for Employers that charges them monthly on a subscription basis. We can and will obviously provide more details on both of these scope of works, but wanted to see if you can provide this custom work for us and if so what is the range of cost that we are looking for. Thank you!

Hello there,

Unfortunately, we do not offer custom work at this time. Currently, the 1st feature will definitely need to be built as it is not a feature provided by our theme.

The second feature, depending on the scope may need to be built, but there currently is a subscription system that can be integrated. See here: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/659-how-do-i-charge-subscriptions-to-post-jobs

Hope this answers your questions.

Pre sales Question? – when applying for a job is it possible to have an attachment feature or upload feature for a job seeker applying for a position Thanks in advance, Furski

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

Yes, it is possible! If you are using Ninja Forms, it is a premium feature, but you can use Contact Form 7 instead in order to implement a feature Free.

Fernando

Hi I’m looking for a theme that works similar to Upwork.com for freelance contractors and companies to engage each other. One of the other requirements is the ability to use (preferably) Stripe Payments of PayPal as a 2nd option. Does your theme offer this with the ability to split payments so we can charge a small percentage to the employer and contractor? Please explain.

I’ve purchased 4 of his themes for this very reason! Same will happen for you if you can offer this little enhancement.

Ok, well thank you anyway. I found another theme that will serve the purpose for what we need.

Hi again,

Happy to hear that you were able to find a theme! :)

If you have any further questions regarding Jobify in the future, let us know! :)

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi! Can you please give me a CSS code or anything to fix this issue with the cutoff of the words…this is really annoying: when you have a sentence and the word would be “Recruitment” it simply cuts off and places it in two lines like Re(next line)cruitment. I can’t find any font styling for these, nor anything that would place the work “in full” to the correct line of text.

Thank you

Hi there,

Can you submit a support ticket and we can take a closer look at this. You can also email me and provide me with your theme license and I can take a closer look: fernando[at]astoundify[dot]com

BUG REPORT: Your latest theme update breaks WP Job Manager Indeed & Zip recruiter integration.

All Indeed & ZipRecruiter listings now display the same date across the board, instead of the actual date pulled via the API.

Thanks Fernando.

Hi Fernando, just downloaded the latest v3.8.1 and the dates are still broken on ziprecruiter and indeed wp job manager listings. Any insight as to when an update will be released addressing this issue? Thank you.

Hi again,

This should be fixed in the next major update.

Sorry for any inconvenience. We are looking into this!

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello,

In the Contact 7 Form on this page, the font is represented in uppercase letters. How can I change this to make the font normal?

I’ve got the same question:

Since the update (3.8) there are some word-breaks in the middle of a word… All over the website.

What is the CSS solution?

Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the delay.

You can use the following CSS to make adjustments to the text:

*{ word-break: normal; }

Hope this helps!

I have a problem with the linking of the company logo on a single listing sidebar. With some company listings the logo correctly links to their job listings page (so you can see all jobs available for that company) however on other companies it doesn’t link correctly and just links back to the same job page they’re currently on.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

I can only see this occurring if for some reason the Company name is removed. Unfortunately, I am unable to replicate this on my end.

If you are still having issues, please contact us through ourSupport Channel! We can take a closer look at the issue there.

Hi there,

Have a few questions before purchasing:

1. Is it possible to not give a Resume Option? Which means there are no resumes on the website. When a candidate applies to a job, they simply attached their cover letter & CV and send it to the employer. They don’t have a option to link their resume or create a profile.

2. No profile option for the candidate, just their name – so basically, they only sign up to contact the employer and send their CV – their name is there just to show who the message & CV is from. OR just their name and CV – so they don’t all the time have to attached their CV in the message.

3. If the above is not possible – is there a way where only the employers can see the candidate’s resumes, however, no other candidate or guest on the website is able to view this.

4. Just like adding to bookmarks option, is there a simple option to set up job alerts as well for a candidate, and candidate/resume alerts for employers?

5. Can both parties send / receive messages within their account, and view their sent and received messages?

6. Can the users login via social media? Can users apply to a job via social media?

7. Which add-ons come with the purchase of the theme?

8. Can there be a option on the website to choose which language to browse the website – then the website is automatically translated?

9. Can Indeed jobs be within the same form of all the other jobs? So the Indeed jobs are not on a separate page, they are intertwine within all the other jobs posted on the site?

Please advise – I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello there!

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for your questions. I do apologize for the delay, as I was away for a few days.

Question: 1. Is it possible to not give a Resume Option? Which means there are no resumes on the website. When a candidate applies to a job, they simply attached their cover letter & CV and send it to the employer. They don’t have a option to link their resume or create a profile.

Answer: This is possible! Since the Resume option is provided through the Resume Manager plugin you can not get it in order to not have a candidate area.

If you do need it but just wish to disable the application process the plugin implements, you can do so through the Plugin Settings. Allowing users to simply submit a cover letter & CV without the need of creating a candidate profile.

Question: 2. No profile option for the candidate, just their name – so basically, they only sign up to contact the employer and send their CV – their name is there just to show who the message & CV is from. OR just their name and CV – so they don’t all the time have to attach their CV in the message.

Answer: Candidate can Register in order to apply for a Job, but they will need to fill out the Name and any fields the Application form requires them to fill. The information will not be filled out already.

This would only be the case if they created a candidate account and applied with it.

Question: 3. If the above is not possible – is there a way where only the employers can see the candidate’s resumes, however, no other candidate or guest on the website is able to view this.

Answer: Employers only see their applications. You can also restrict the Candidates Resume to only certain roles also. Preventing other users from viewing candidates Resume profiles.

Question: 4. Just like adding to bookmarks option, is there a simple option to set up job alerts as well for a candidate, and candidate/resume alerts for employers?

Answer: There is only Job Alerts Extension. It only allows you to create Job Alerts when a new Job is submitted matching the candidate’s search criteria.

Unfortunately, there are no Alerts for Candidates.

Question: 5. Can both parties send / receive messages within their account, and view their sent and received messages?

Answer: There is no built in System to allow users to view or send messages to one another. You can integrate an Internal Messaging System using our Private Messages plugin. Allowing users to message each other from an internal messaging dashboard.

Question: 6. Can the users login via social media? Can users apply to a job via social media?

Answer: You can integrate the WooCommerce Social Login plugin you can allow users to log in with social profiles like our demo.

As for applying through social media, only Facebook application is available with this extension Apply With Facebook.

Question: 7. Which add-ons come with the purchase of the theme?

Answer: Currently, Jobify is not bundled with any premium plugins. Many of the plugins mentioned prior are paid plugins not included with the theme.

Question: 8. Can there be an option on the website to choose which language to browse the website – then the website is automatically translated?

Answer: You can integrate the Polylang plugin in order to create a multilingual website. You can use any language if it is already available or create a new translation.

Question: 9. Can Indeed jobs be within the same form of all the other jobs? So the Indeed jobs are not on a separate page, they are intertwined within all the other jobs posted on the site?

Answer: Yes, you have the option to display your jobs and Indeed Jobs within the same results, or have them in a separate widget.

Hope this answers all your questions today!

Kind Regards,

Fernando

I have a pre-sale query. I want to create a functionality wherein I’m also offering a scholarship (I’ll be using Jobs for educational packages). From other comments I gathered that I would have to create a custom post type called scholarship. Here’s what I need your advise on: 1) For post a job functionality, I don’t want people to be able to post a “Job” but I want them to be able to post a “Scholarship” for a particular job. 2) When student is on the job page he would just see a notification that the job is eligible for scholarship. Then he can fill out a form to check his eligibility and we’ll get a mail. Similarly he can fill out forms on multiple jobs, and then later for whichever job he’s found eligible he can apply by uploading his resume etc (theme’s functionality). My concern is, while filling out this form, he would be giving us most of the details that would be required to apply for the job as well, we need that either he’s not asked for all the fields again OR he gets the fields pre-filled, which means we need to sync the data submitted through scholarship application TO job Application.

So Is there a plugin that is supported with the theme that can help me achieve this functionality? OR maybe with scholarship application we create a profile for the student and fill in all his data in his profile, then we use the same data to pre-fill the job-application form. Is this possible? Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out. I do apologize for the delay but am more than happy to answer your questions today.

Out of the box, the closest compatible solution that is similar to what you are after is the integration of the Resume Manager plugin. Which apart from the default job creation, will add a candidate feature to your website.

Allowing users to create a Candidate Profile and use that Candidate profile to automatically apply for the job. The Employer will be emailed the user’s profile page and information.

This is seen in our Jobify Extended Demo. You can see what the Resume extension has to offer.

If this is not something you are after and wish to create a “scholarship” post type. This would need to be a custom solution to create and also ensure compatibility with the way you wish the application process to occur along with syncing the data submitted.

Hope this answers your question today!

Fernando

Can you download resume in pdf form? And if you can, can you download more than one(10, 100, ...)?

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

Using the Resume Manager plugin you can create Candidate accounts and enable users to download the candidates resume multiple times.

Hope this answers your question.

Fernando

Hello! With the new update (3.8), there is a problem with the word separation across the site. The words are breaked off at the end of the line. Also in the jobify demo site https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/ How can it be resolved? Thanks

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out. Sorry for the delay.

You can use the following CSS to make adjustments to the text:

*{ word-break: normal; }

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hi – love the template but I don’t want WP. Is there an HTML only version? Or do you think it would be easy enough for me to de-wordpress it?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and do apologize for the delay.

Unfortunately, we only create WordPress themes and not HTML templates. Jobify is only available for WordPress and there is no possibility to alter it from being a WordPress theme.

I do apologize for any inconvenience.

Hope this answers your question.

Fernando

Hi, after this last update I’m having horrible problems with the word separation across the site. I have only the usual plugins, which makes me think that the problem is with the Jobify theme

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the delay in my response.

This is a small bug on our end. You can use the following CSS to adjust it:

*{ word-break: normal; }

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hi, I have regions (state) and subregions (cities). How it is possible to make so that the user could choose only a subregion? Thank you

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do so. All Regions created will be available for users to select from the drop-down. You would need to customize the theme and the submission form in order to prevent Parent Regions from being selectable.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello, I didn’t realise my support expired yesterday and forgot to post my query. My question is very simple: the theme automatically sends an email to the employer’s email but I do not want this behaviour. How do I make it so that no email gets sent to the employer’s email and instead to the admin email? I am using Contact Form 7. I read that I could do it through a previous comment but I could not find instructions how to do it.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, using Contact Form 7, the Contact Listings plugin will automatically email the employer regardless if you only enter the Admin email. This is a default configuration the Contact Listing feature provides.

The best alternative is using the Ninja Forms plugin which provides more control of which email to use when an application is submitted.

Hope this helps.

Fernando

Will Jobify every have a Tertiary menu like Listify has?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for your suggestion.

This feature is currently not on our roadmap, but it can definitely be something we can look into. I can bring it up to our team.

Thank you for your feedback! Let me know if you have more!

Kind Regards,

Fernando
