What is the story with all background images not showing in the code. Does it mean that google is not seeing these images ? If yes why ? Thx.

After discussing, we conclude this feature is not available because the Visual Composer use the background image of the Page section with custom css background-image, so the Google can’t index the css style.

It’s the default behavior of the Visual Composer core and we can’t change it.

You have to update theme immediatly:

1. You have to update JS Composer from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2 very soon! It does not work correctly in WP 4.8.1. You can´t change text via composers drop down menu. Nothing drop down appears.

There are some more minor but realy irritating bugs:

2. Using Module “Pages section”: By placing a background image in section settings are not saved. Don´t know und what circumstances theme is saving changes, cause sometimes it´s working. Also padding is often resettet to standard.

3. Using module “Image”: Margin Bottom is always reset to 10px. No seamless design possible.

Font Issues. I’m having real issues with fonts. Once changed in the theme settings, they keep resetting to default fonts or a mix of default and chosen fonts. I have reset the section twice, today and the problem still persists. Need help

Very problematic theme. Ok, Could you explain to me what is the purpose of the preloader in this theme ? I tested many pages different sizes. With the slow internet or big page size, pre-loader should be displayed immediately or within a second on the screen. In some instances, a visitor sees the white page for 5 seconds (which reflects actual loading time) and then preloader loads a page immediately. Is it for decoration so it looks cool ? Can you pls look at this.

The Preloader will help you avoid the problem when the site loads the HTML first before the CSS, JS and display a site without any styles by running the preloader until everything loads completely.

It’s nothing to do with my theme. Your demo theme loads the same way when loaded the very first time. You give a lot of options in your theme but perhaps you should take a look at this from code functionality point of view. I’d buy this theme already 10 times if you made some effort to code it a little bit better. The theme is heavy even when it does not need to be. For example, if I switch off VC on post pages, I enter pure text without images, the size of the page is nearly 2 MB. 2MB for 20 lines of HTML? Shouldn’t files be loaded only when they are used? For example, why are some youtube files loaded when you don’t use youtube player on a given page? A ton of external CSS etc. With a number of options you give to people, it could be ultimate WordPress theme but right now from client’s point of view, you need a dedicated server to load this theme in a decent time when pages start getting some traffic.

Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it, however, that VC behavior comes from the VC plugin core itself, the Ken theme just use it but can’t change or improve it, it will need to change from the plugin provider instead.

Also, we’re trying to optimize and improve the theme speed in the future versions, surely it will have a lot of changes.

Hello there! I am currently working on a website where the Ken Theme is being used. Within Ken Control Panel the Ken theme has been registered with some API key. The website is https://ckvoicelessons.de While working with the theme I found these two bugs:

1. WooCommerce product list The isotope script seems to cause a buggy output of products. Please see the issue here: https://ckvoicelessons.de/produkt-kategorie/unterrichtspakete/

2. In MacOS and iOS Safari Browser I am seeing weird white flickering when scrolling. For example browse this page with Safari browser and scroll up and down. You will see odd white areas appearing while scrolling: https://ckvoicelessons.de/gesangsunterricht/

Is there a fix available for this? Currently there is a childtheme of Ken 4.0.1 installed on this site.

Hi. Is there any tutorial on how to create a button that will let users switch on and off the sound of the video set in the page section? I think it’s a very important function. I have never seen a website without this option. Thx

I do understand there isn’t such option in the Ken theme. This I requested 2 years ago. Switching the sound on the feature that you added inside the theme, does not make any sense if a user can not toggle it off and on. I understand that you would like to charge me for 4 lines of custom JS script. Thx

I understand your point, but implement a button to toggle the video sound on the front-page is not something 4 lines of custom JS can be done, however, if you know how to write Javascript, you can take a look at this topic:

You should first create a button, assign an ID to it, then write a code that triggers on the button click (on click) mute the sound.

If it is a youtube video, then it gets a little bit harder.

I have upgraded to version 4 of the theme and it has VC version 5.1.1. For some reason none of the toggle switches are working on the theme or in VC. I can’t use any of the toggles at the bottom of a page, such as ‘Stick template’ or ‘Header toolbar’. Plus none of the toggles work in VC. No idea what to do from here

Then build the Blog page with the Blog Shortcode inside the Visual Composer editor instead.

VIsual comploser is weird at version 3.3, together with WP 4.8. The edit/clone/delete buttons do not show up at all. You can use them, but the icon is not there.

Also, I have the 3.3 version installed with a valid API Key but don’t get any updates for the theme.

I bought the theme last year and have never used it since, my 6 month support has expired and I need to fix these issues…

Hi There, I have the last version of woocomerce, Wordpress and the Ken. But still, wocommerce is telling me my theme was outdated templates (version 2.2.0) of a lot of pages such as cart, thankyou page or oder-details (among others). Any idea how to fix it?

Please kindly recheck in your Themeforest account > Download area > Ken theme > Download it again.
