1) The option enables the hub header for all posts, this is disabled by default on the theme demo.

This is something I’ll look into. The difference is Huber is a review theme with BuddyPress integration, whereas Kleo is a BuddyPress theme first and foremost. I am however working on a new theme which is a BuddyPress theme first with tons of styling customisations.
This theme seems to have just about everything I would want. I love the layout and flow of things but have a few questions/concerns.
1. When it come to the affiliate linking, do you have to enter it in multiple places every time you write a review?
2. How come you only see the “WHERE TO BUY” https://huber.ghostpool.com/demo-games/forza-horizon-3/ on this page and not the rest of the other review pages?
3. Can a Twitch tab be implemented, like since there’s Video, can there be a new tab called Streaming, kinda like the way this theme does it. http://planetshine.net/demo/goodgame/twitch/
4. Can this theme work in multi site?
5. Do you have a backend demo we can see?
6. Do you supply dummy demo data to import when we began creating our site with your theme?

Suggestions: 1. It would be nice if the right widget bar that contains the background image of the game and it’s rating would act like an accordion and expand when clicked on, then they can click again to go into it or click on to the review.

1) You can assign different affiliate links to each hub page. So any posts, reviews, videos associated with the hub can also display these affiliate links without having to create them each time.
2) It can be added to any page and is seen on other hubs e.g. https://huber.ghostpool.com/demo-games/injustice-2/
3) You can create custom tabs with the theme so the answer is yes.
4) It’s not be tested with multisite but I don’t see why not.
5) No unfortunately not.
6) Yes, there’s a demo importer than sets the site up just like the demo site with one click.
7) When you assign a page background header background image to your reviews, these are then used in the widget.
Not by default, but this can easily be done with CSS changes which I can show you if you decide to purchase the theme.
9) I’m not sure I understand. This page simply displays all items added to the Games category. If you don’t want an item to show, just don’t added it to the Games category.
10) I have no idea, I’m not familiar with this plugin unfortunately. You’re better off asking the plugin developer. If the plugin is designed to work with any theme then it should in theory work with Huber.
11) I’m not sure what you mean? Hub pages use endpoints, meaning each tab is not a real page. You associated news, video and review posts with a hub so they are displayed in the related hub page.
12) What would expanding the review show that isn’t already seen?

1. – Last weeks I see many updates with fixes. This is nice. Do you plan also more new features and functionalitites instead only the bug fixes? I mean for example: new post layouts, new widgets, more header styles, post and video sliders on the homapge and in the widgets, etc… – as we can see thousands of examples on themeforest. Do you have any roadmap, let say till end of this year? Roadmap, which you can share with us?
2. – Do you also prepare in the very near future the magazine with the same functionality, but “diferent graphic style” ? I mean, Huber is nice for games, comics, scifi… but I would need for travel places, sport trends, furniture design magazines, and Huber style si not so good for this area. This should have some different graphic style.

1) New homepage layouts are in the works. However I’m focussing on bug theme updates at the moment to get the theme as stable as possible I’m also working on a new theme as the moment, once that’s complete, I’ll move onto feature updates to Huber again.
2) With Huber you can change the layout, fonts and colours for the entire theme to create a totally different look. What kind of style changes are you looking for?

Clicking the block header images doesn’t seem to change anything. Are you referring to different header layouts? If so, this is in the works and will be included in the next theme feature update.

Lazy load in what context? The theme already has a load more button and lazy load image tab.

1 – Is the theme compatible with PhP7 ?
2 – If I understand correctly the changes between huber and gauge and the review, posts and pages will be faster to load because less requests will be sent. Am I correct ?
3 – Is it possible to have a backgrd and a video header (with clikable button) like in this the review post http://thereview.ghostpool.com/watch-dogs/review/ ?
4 – If I want to change some Css about the rating box for instance (color, circle instead of a square, size of the box…) I have to do so for each item or a specific class exists to change it for all items ?

1) Yes.
2) There are page load speed improvements throughout the theme, one of them being the need for much less pages that need to be created, which has major benefits in the backend when using the pages interface.
3) No, you can insert a background video and have a video autoplay in the header, but there’s no play button any longer.
4) A specific class to change all items.
5) Yes.
All three themes can do the same thing, however Huber has the edge, for the following reasons.
- Hubs no longer use child pages for tabs. The Reviews, News, Images and Videos tabs are now part of the hub page. This reduces the number of pages generated, reduces the number of database queries and makes creating hubs even easier.
- Hubs and reviews can now be either posts or pages.
- You can now add multiple reviews to each hub item (you associate reviews with hubs just like you do with posts).
- Hubs now include a Forums tab by default for easily adding forum content.
- You can now add multiple affiliates to each hub.
- Release dates are now treated like a proper date field so you can order by this date, filter by specific date ranges, show only items from future release dates etc.
- Add review results to the top of reviews.
- Images now work with CDNs and image compression plugins.
- Tons of speed improvements.

2) You can only mute the video with some external JavaScript. To add controls you can make a small code change the video bg header function.
3) Not that difficult, but if you’re not familiar with HTML, CSS and PHP you may want to hire my developer to add this for you.
4) It’s a BuddyPress community/paid membership/learning courses theme. Not gaming related this time.
Hello, Just bought this theme and I accidentally deleted the profile menu. I tried to restore a backup but I can’t and now the LOgin, Register and Logout options are missing from the header. Is there another way I can get them back?

The reason why I am asking this is because I would like to use the hubs to create a website for boardgames. While for video games each game is composed essencially by a single game, boardgames are composed by a core game and several expansions, so I would need to create several hubs to allow people review each of these componenents, but if I post a news that is related with all hubs I would like to avoid that my users receive several equal notifications.
1) Yes, there’s an option to disable this.
2) Users don’t receive any notifications. The Follow page will display both followed hubs and list the post under both hubs.

Like you say, the main hub tab displays both news and video posts and the news tab just displays new articles. You can disable the News tab if you feel this is redundant.
Hello Again. I would like to make a improvement request. The image from the featured area, the bigger are in homepage where are displayed the featured posts, is a bit static. As this are is not a slider, I am feeling that is missing some effect when we hover the post. I would like to suggest to add some effect like a image zoon on hover, some examples:

1) No, the tab links are setup automatically.
2) The affiliate links are just custom links you can add to each page – they can link to any store.
3) You can create a page that shows the highest voted items.
4) Yes. When you create a hub all of this is done for you, the news, images, videos and write as review pages are not separate pages (like in the Gauge and Review themes).
5) You can do this for views, but not votes.
6) I list the differences at the bottom of the Huber item page.
7) I would recommended Huber as it’s the easiest to use and has the most features.

How well does this theme work when converting from a mini-site/custom post types theme? Would I need to convert all of my custom post types to regular posts before switching to this theme?

If the custom post types were registered in the old theme instead of a plugin then you won’t see them when switching themes. In which case you’ll need to convert them to posts or register them in the Huber theme, both can be done using plugins.

There’s no demo for other types of items, but you can of course review anything on your site. All the text like genre, developer etc. can be changed from the theme options.
There is no comparison feature.
