on frontend must be visible. Now you can add to cart out of stock products from category page and you will see that your product aren’t in stock on checkout page.

Your issue is because you defined wrong DIR_CATALOG in the file /public_html/admin/config.php
Please change the code
define(‘DIR_CATALOG’, ’/home/adult88toy/domains/adult88toy.com/public_html/adult88toy.com/catalog/’);
to:
define(‘DIR_CATALOG’, ’/home/adult88toy/domains/adult88toy.com/public_html/catalog/’);

Then, you can go to Extensions >> Themes and choose the theme So maxshop and save it.
