hi, can you please update this post: http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/807-order-listings-randomly (Order Listings Randomly) i need this option. thx
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Sorry about that. Just so you know I would recommend you replace the [jobs] shortcode on the Results page with this shortcode instead: [jobs orderby=”rand”].
This will reorder your Listings in Random order.

Fernando
Hello! newbie question: this is only the theme, right? What else do I need to have this working like the demo? Some plugins? Thank you.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
We only sell the theme, which will work without any Paid plugins. See our Jobify Classic Demo, it uses no premium plugins at all.
Only our Extended demo uses Paid plugins. These are not required but only enhance the theme further.

Fernando
How do I change the names of search filters:
Examples: key words, local, category?
By the locale plugin translate was not possible and I did not find the path / folder by the code editor.
Hi there,
You can use the Say What plugin. When using the “jobify” domain, you will be able to edit these texts.
Hope this helps!

i have a project with 4 localised sites (new wp install, and different databases, the same design). Enough for this, one-license? or need license for per site?
Hi there!
Just one is fine! The theme is 100% GPL allowing you to use the license on multiple websites.
If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
Kind regards,
Fernando
Was this latest release supposed to fix the mobile or responsive layout that leaves words cut off in the middle as well as hyphens? Please advise. Thanks so much!
Hi there,
Yes, our latest update will have this resolved. Update to version 3.8.1, which just released and it will resolve the issue!

Can I remove any applicant photo spaces within the site? We don’t want those featured anywhere and hate the “dummy photo image” that appears in its place.

Theme experiences some serious image/logo sizing issues. Without instructing all customers to upload their logos the exact same size and dimensions the site looks very odd, bits of logos are missing and spoils the overall feel for the site.
If this can be fixed, it would be appreciated.

Hi, Is there an option to remove candidate account ability to post a job, and the employer account ability to apply for a job? Thank You.
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today!
Unfortunately, there is no default restriction feature provided by the theme. I can suggest hiding the menu item for posting jobs from users with the Candidate role.
Using the If Menu plugin you can set conditions to hide menu items based on a users role. See here.
As for Restriction Employers from applying for a job, this is not possible to hide or restrict, unfortunately.
Hope this answers your questions.

Hi, for social login I used the “social login WooCommerce” plugin but when a new user subscribes is registered as a customer. Can I set as a candidate or employer?
The post fot the plugin setup for jobify is not reachable http://jobify.astoundify.com/category/528-woocommerce-social-login http://jobify.astoundify.com/article/529-setup-social-login
Thank you
Hello there,
By default, being a WooCommerce extension the plugin will set the Customer Role. This is the default behavior.
It might be best to contact plugin support and see if there is a way to alter this.
Another option might be using the User Role Editor to edit the role to either Employer or Candidate.
Also, these are the correct links you were looking for: http://listify.astoundify.com/category/528-woocommerce-social-login http://listify.astoundify.com/article/529-setup-social-loginKind Regards,

Is there an option to force applicants to register before applying to posted jobs and including their profile in the database that is made available to paid employers?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
You can hide the default form and use the feature provided by the Resume Manager plugin. Which will notify users to submit a Resume in order to apply for the job.
Once their account is created, it will use the profile they create.
The Resume plugin also has a restriction feature that only allows users who purchased a listing package to view Resumes. See here.
Hope this helps!

Hi, Just noticed that the apply for job pop-up doesn’t work correctly…In the pop-up using gravity forms, there is a field to add a CV to it (file upload) but when you select a file it keeps popping up again and again to add the file. After 4-5 times you get multiple files being added to the CV upload filed.
I have tested it on a non Jobify test site and the same plugin same form used and works without any issues.
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today.
Would you kindly be able to submit a support ticket where we can take a closer look at this issue. We can then provide a more direct solution.
We hope to hear from you!
Kind Regards,
Fernando
I have one question regarding the bug in the theme regarding lines breaking in the middle of words. After inserting “*{ word-break: normal; }” at the bottom of style.css the problem still persists, can you please let me know when this issue will be fixed?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
If you have a caching plugin, you may want to flush the cache, and also your Browsers cache. At times due to Caching, the changes do not take effect. Add that CSS also under Appearance>Customize>Additional CSS and see if there are any changes.
If the issue is still present, we can take a look through our Support Channel, but our next update will fix this.
Hope this helps!

Hi, I would like to know if employee and candidate section are managed by User Profiles or have been developed on specific sections. Thank you in advance.
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today.
The Candidate Profiles shown in our Extended Demo, are managed by the Resume Manager plugin. With the plugin, you can create the Resume profiles.
Hope that answers your question.

Fernando

Hi there,
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out! Hope to answer your questions as best as I can.
Employer:
1. Sign Up & Create Profile: There is a default Sign up form and once a user signs up they can edit their profile on the Accounts page.
2. Post Job & Pay: Users can also Post a Job for Free out of the box. IF you wish to charge users a fee for submitting Jobs, you will need to Create a Listing Package.
3. View a Job Dashboard: Out of the box, there is a Job Dashboard page users can access. This can easily be created. See Create a Dashboard Page.
4. View their listed jobs: On the Dashboard page, users can manage the jobs they posted. Allowing them to edit, and delete them.
5. View stats for their listed jobs – such as how many applied to the job, see the uploaded CVs & name of applicant (applicant management): You can add the free stats feature using our Stats plugin.
There is no application management out of the box. Applications are originally emailed to employers. You can add a application management feature using the Applications extension.
6. Can enter Promo/Coupon Code for job advertising discount: WooCommerce will allow you to create Promo/Discount codes.
Candidate:
1. Create an account to Users will only be able to create a regular user account. You can create candidate only using the Resume Manager plugin. Only if you create a custom role that is for candidates.
2. Bookmark Jobs: Yes, using the Bookmarks Extension
3. Make Job Alert: Yes, using he Alerts extension
4. Apply via CV: Yes using the Applications extension as mentioned above will allow this.
5. Apply via LinkedIn (Not necessary): There is no feature like this compatible with the theme.
6. Login via Social Networks (Not necessary) You can add the WooCommerce Social Login plugin for Social Login.
7. Candidate Dashboard: Only when using the Resume Manager plugin which is only for Managing Resume Profiles.
8. View their bookmarks: The Bookmarks Extension provides a dashboard for this.
9. View ALL Created Job Alerts: The Alerts extension rovides a dashboard for this.
10. View the Jobs Applied to: There is no feature built in.
Hope this answers your questions today!

I have problem when using Jobify Extended themes. I submit Job post with Company video link successfully. However, when view Job Post, click Watch Video button, screen change to black , but no video showed??? Can you help me?
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!
The only thing I can suggest is making sure the link is valid and the field has not been modified(with WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin). Also, make sure the video is not private.
If these do not apply, head over to our Support Channel where I can take a closer look at the issue.
Kind Regards,
Fernando
Hello, I can make sure Company Video link is correct and not private, by going to Admin board, view Job listing, and copy link from Company Video and view in browser OK (of course, signed out Google). Also, I have not installed WP Job Manger Field Editor and no change that field. By the way, this field is already recognized by system so it displayed Watch Video button, incase clicked it change black screen I will submit to Support Channel. BR,
Glad to hear you are able to find the solution!
Fernando
Pre-sale: Do you have an ETA for facetWP and radius search for jobify? Thank you.
Hi there,

At this time they are not officially on our roadmap, but it can be something we look into in the future.

I’m using locotranslate to translate Jobfy Page Stats into Brazilian Portuguese but by saving the translation the word some from the site. What to do? My website http://agenciablitz.com.br/peneiras
Hi there,
The strings for the widget can be found within the Languages file. Make sure all strings have been translated.
You should be able to use the Stats plugin also to translate the strings.
If you need further assistance, we can help through our Support Channel!
