If you activate another theme then content which is created by the Layers will not be displayed if the new theme not supports the Layers.Most likely the content is not lost. If you restore the Skrollex the content will be displayed or you can restore it from page history.

Ok, I realized that IE 11 works in compatibility mode for version 7 by default (maybe coz I use Win 7 Pro and on Intranet). Even a nude WP fresh install without any theme/plugin, does not work properly. So the deal is to force programmatically compat mode to Edge.

adding meta <meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=edge,chrome=1”> just after <meta charset=”<?php bloginfo( ‘charset’ ); ?>”> in header.php in /themes/skrollex/ does the job.

Adding the tag in back office (using plugin), is not sufficient as the tag is added at the end of the </head>.

IE is not working in compatibility mode by default. But this can be defined in your browser Tools / Compatibility View settings or in the group policy of you company or in the IE developer tools (еmulation tab). Try to change this settings. You can see the list of domains that belong to the Intranet zone in the: Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Sites -> Advanced. You can also try to exclude your site from the Intranet zone, but it can be disabled via group policy.

Since the standard editor are used for blog post editing, which have not a function for change of font size by default, you should use plugins for this purpose. Do not use empty columns for indenting – this can lead to wrong display on different devices. I also recommend breaking the section into columns of equal size, otherwise the page may look bad when changing the size.
Unfortunately, the template does not provide the ability to create empty side areas. Try to think through the layout of the page without them. This can only be done with custom CSS, if you have coding skills.

I do have some coding skills. Can you tell me what custom CSS I need to use? Maybe just enough to try and get me started? Even just a more detailed explanation of how you might do this? In the meantime, I will try and see what I can do. Thanks.

On which device and in which version of the browser do you see this effect? If you see this only on your site, but do not see it on theme demos, try disabling all third-party plug-ins and custom CSS code if you use it.
If you create page from preset, will you see this problem before editing of created page?

I just checked again and the problem appears to be gone! Maybe it was because of the size of the image? What is the optimal dimensions in pixels of the header images? Thank you!

The theme demo shows both – - I can only get one style of mobile menu to work. Plus, it would be nice if I could get the mobile menu to only display on mobile and not have to have it on the desktop view. Only one menu shows on desktop view on the demo – I don’t want that menu at all. I only want the mobile menu that I sent you the image link of. Thanks!!

The message says that the header.php file was not found. This is a theme file. Apparently it was deleted from your server or you somehow changed the server settings and the file is not located. Try to reinstall the theme. Make sure that the file is present on the file system and access to this file is allowed.

So I should delete the theme and then upload it? Does it mean i’ll have to upload all the content again…?

The simplest way for reinstall theme is uninstall then install it.
