I have a question regarding parallax pictures: how can I ensure that the picture is viewed as full width when scrolling up and down? If I have a 2000×540 px picture and I want to make a full width parallax of 400 px height, how can I ensure that the width will remain 2000 px and the picture won’t be “zoomed in”?

Hi, the images will remain 2000px only if is seen on a monitor with res. of 2000px. This is not how parallax works and is not intended for images with details, is intended for background images, you always need to add a larger image for parallax (2000px is fine) but also larger in height so you calculate for the parallax effect.

hi your theme is great. i have a question. i am using v ideo in the slider from vimeo. can i load the video faster? it seems that it takes a few seconds before start playing

This depends mostly on the internet connection, but to play the video immediately is not possible, there will be always a slight delay before the video loads. It’s best practice to add wallpaper (it can be frame/screenshot of the video) till the video loads.

Hi there, currently, there are no animated dots on the WordPress version of the theme.
That feature will be available in future updates.
That is also shown in the demo of the WordPress version of the theme.

Hi there
i have an issue with the instagram photos in the footer widget not lining up as they do in the demo, instead of 2 rows and 3 columns it has 3 images on the first row, 1 on the 2nd row and 3 on the 3rd row.
please help me fix this

There is a detailed guide how to setup Instagram Widget in the Help file that comes with the theme – under Miscellaneous > Instagram Feed – Footer Widget.
Make sure you have the exact settings like on the images in the help file, in order to achieve the same look.

I have installed WordPress and uploaded your theme. Started creating layout.
Next day I am receiving an error entering website. It is happened twice already.

It looks like you(your server) are running an older version of PHP, try asking your hosting provider what version of PHP are you running and can you update to PHP7+ versions.

I have checked and the server runs PHP7.1.
The thing is that when I install the theme it works. I can modify, create pages and use all theme’s features.
But the next day I am getting an error entering the website.

I have 2 issues so far, but am loving this theme.
1. The VC Features Cards module does not utilize equal height. When equal height columns is set for the row, these modules will not adhere to that.
2. I’m using WordPress Engine for hosting and all is working great, however, when I migrate to staging, VC seems to ignore your customization and will not load any of the Definity modules. Its as though it is behaving as a default VC installation. Worth noting is I have migrated to a local host and also a BlueHost staging area without issue.

1. VC Features Cards doesn’t have a height defined, they adapt to the content that’s inside, if there is fixed height the content can be cut off if is larger than the element, my suggestion is to keep the text around the same lines for every instance of that element.
2. It sounds like you didn’t have migrated the Definity Elements plugin that comes with the theme (but is not part of the theme code), he creates all the custom VC elements.
P.S. For the VC Features Cards if you can’t be very flexible with the content inside, you can edit the theme code (CSS) to add fixed height to that element, if you have troubles with that share the logging credentials & URL for the site (via email from my profile page) and I will do it for you.

The contact form in Contact Page 1 comes as a Visual Composer element with a name “Contact Layout” to change the styles you just change the setting contact layout field – the layout from Contact page 1 is the Contact Layout 1.
So to achieve that style you need VC element Contact Layout with setting of Contact Layout 1

There’s no option to choose the contact form in Contact Layout 1. Do I add the Contact Form element underneath perhaps?
You need to use Visual Composer and add the element with a name Contact Layout first, then choose Contact Layout 1 in the settings.

I am trying to install the slider revolution plugin. I have followed the instructions, found my purchase code, but when I entered it, it says “wrong purchase code”.

You should not enter purchase code anywhere in the Slider Revolution plugin, you have theme “bundle” license, just by purchasing this theme.

I want to install the Agency 2 demo on the site and adjust for our needs, but when I have tried to set it up, the import fails. Am I missing something?

There is a detailed guide how to import the demo data in the help file included in the download, under the section Getting Started > Import Demo Data.
The import can take up to 15-30min, depending on the internet connection and it important to not use or modify the website in that time.

After importing the demo files, still when i go to grassrootdesign.com i can only see the header an footer. While purchasing the theme i thought i will get everything and i would just need to edit the theme through visual composer
You have some other plugin named “Visual Composer” that is not the real VC plugin and it causing conflicts
I have tried uninstalling the Visual composer and installing WPBakery Visual Compose. Still it doesn’t install can you give it a try.

Hi, I am sorry for your situation, but the theme is fully responsive, that is shown in the demo which is 100% responsive and made to represent a real case scenario.
The problem is that in your case you need more than the theme provides currently and you need to make code edits to the theme to match your vision, even though you saw the demo before you’ve made a decision to purchase the theme.
The demo being fully responsive makes your claim invalid, but if you request a refund I will approve it on the basis of not having need to use the theme.
Hi, Viktor, I tried uploading the theme on Wordpress but its showing failed to install. Also, its saying the theme is missing Style.css stylesheet.

Re-download the theme again from themeforest, unzip the file and inside is the file that you need to upload “definity.zip” to WordPress.

How do you remove the portfolio link from featured images titles? Also how do you make the links from the featured images buttons appear in new windows? They are marked as “open in new tab” but still open in same window.

Hi there, to remove the link from the VC element “Feature Image Hover” just, delete the content from the link URL & title. For the “open in new tab” this is a known bug and will be resolved in the next update.

It won’t load on mobile because of the Slider Revolution that is not configured properly, try to delete/disable the Slider Rev. VC element and then test to see if will load on mobile to be sure that there is the problem.
Video background doesn’t auto play on mobile devices to save battery, so you need to have the video replaced with an image for mobile devices, import the “Full Screen Video” slider as an example or starting point to configure your slider for the hero section.

Hi there, this is because you have enabled the “Sticky Navigation” which is floating over the other elements. For this, you can use the largest page title size to push the heading or modify the theme code (css) to with top margin to push the page title for regular pages but not for the front page.

Hello Every time i change something in the theme and update it, it does not save the new one I have changed. It just goes back to the start edition. Another problem is that the boxes that are to be fully understood do not go all the way out. What’s wrong? please help
