Hey there, I bought this item yesterday, and had to see that the VC / WPBakery plugin is kind of broken since it’s not working … the editor doesn’t show the buttons for “backend edit” “frontend edit” “classic edit” and so on. And if I hit “edit with WPBakery” on a frontend page, it takes to backend, but with and broken interface.
I got several other themes using the VC / WPBakery – all just working fine. I saw that the last update is just a few days old, maybe you guys broke something?
Can you help me.
For information, the installation was tested on a subdomain and got reinstalled a several times (even deleted and re-added the subdomain a several times with clean new wordpress 4.8.2 setup!). Theme V.1.2.8 – WPBakery V.5.4 ( V.5.4.2 available since yesterday!! maybe they fixed something???) PHP 5.6 on the server. (But no other themes/ plugins on other domains / same server are broken.

Hey there, I could do that, but as it’s only a test on a subdomain, helping us on that domain on our end wouldn’t fix the problem when it need’s to get moved or installed on another / the main domain. I tried it on several other places and it’s not working. Maybe check your release?

As I mentioned before, the VC Plugin that comes prepacked with your V.1.2.8 theme is V.5.4 – not 5.4.2 as you’re showing with the screenshots (which is the latest version available from WpBakery). I got other themes running VC on 5.4.2 and they work just fine aswell as other sites still running VC on 5.4 – also no problems there. So you maybe really need to check your release since you even thought it comes with VC V.5.4.2 what it obviously doesn’t.
Even changes.txt within the theme folder: “jacqueline\plugins\install\js_composer” does say: “12.10.2017 – ver 5.4 – Update: ......................”
So please help. Not only me but all your customers who maybe not even withnessed this bug yet, and get it fixed as soon as possible.

Please note that the update procedure is as follows:
1. Make the full site backup.
2. Navigate to wp-content/themes directory on FTP and rename the jacqueline folder to jacqueline123, for example.
3. Then upload the unzipped jacqueline theme from the new theme update package to wp-content/themes directory on FTP.
4. With that done correctly, you should go to Appearance – Themes in admin and should see the new theme version for the parent theme instead of the old one. Please do not click ‘Activate’ in order not to lose the changes. If the old jacqueline theme is renamed on FTP and the new version is uploaded via FTP properly (see points 2-3 above), you should see the new theme version already activated.
Also, please note that if you use the child theme for your site, make sure to have the child theme backup as well, also please note that if you activate the parent theme instead of the child theme, you will lose all settings. In order to avoid that, please read this article (it is on Invetex theme, so please note that in your case it will be ‘jacqueline’ instead of ‘invetex’ in the code: https://themerex.ticksy.com/article/9476
In your case, we suggest you getting in touch with your hosting provider for the site backup in order to restore the site and then follow the procedure above in order to update the theme without losing changes.

Hello, i have question, thinking to buy the theme, i need to build a website for massage salon with different types of the massage, is it possible to manage such a case with booked plugin? From the demo i can see that there is possible of booking a time slot but not choosing different type of the massage.. also, different massages are provided by different persons and that suppose to be as well key of time slot… is it something like this possible? thank you for your answer stepan

1. The translation procedure is as follows:
- Set the language you prefer in Settings - General in your admin.
- Open the jacqueline.pot file in wp-content/themes/languages directory on FTP in Poedit software.
- Click 'Create New Translation' in the file and select the language you prefer (make sure the language variation is the same as selected inSettings - General in admin) http://prntscr.com/doe3l0 . With that done the .po file will be generated out of .pot one. Translate the text strings in Poedit software and save the file. As soon as you save this .po file, the .mo file will be generated automatically.
- Upload these .po and .mo file to wp-content/themes/languages directory on FTP

2. You can edit the font is wp-content/themes/jacqueline/shortcodes/theme.shortcodes.css fie but we do not recommend doing this, because you will need to change the font in this file each time the theme is updated to the new version. Please add this piece of code to ‘Your Custom CSS’ file with an !important tag, like this and it should work: .sc_services_style_services-1 .sc_services_item_category { font-family: ‘Mr De Haviland’, cursive !important; }
.sc_item_subtitle { font-family: ‘Mr De Haviland’, cursive !important; } Then replace the ‘Mr De Haviland’, cursive font with the font you prefer and save. If it still does not work, please provide us with your Wordpress admin login credentials in ticket https://themerex.ticksy.com/
3. In wp-content/plugins/trx_utils/includes/support.services, line 47, please replace the following piece of code ‘rewrite’ => true with ‘rewrite’ => array( ‘slug’ => ‘test’ ) where “test” is the slug you need. If the issue still persists, please provide us with your Wordpress admin login credentials and FTP credentials at https://themerex.ticksy.com/ so that we can take a closer look into the issue.

the last three updates of your theme did not work. everytime i updated i got internal error 500. also tried deactivating all plugins, changing httaccess or raise php memory. did not work. hope you can help as i want to be up to date with this theme. thank you!

I’ve just purchased and installed this theme, but need a few questions answering:
1. How do you get the Dark Theme (home 2) working across the site – I’ve changed all the options to dark in the theme settings but the other pages still have the light theme.
2. When I install the child them it says that the parent theme cannot be found?
3. The instagram add on didn’t install – could you let me know the name of it so I can install in manually.
