Pre Purchase Question. I was about to buy, but I had a question: I have not seen a place where the candidate can post his resume. Is this theme only for companies to post? Can not candidates post their resumes? If you have this option, where is it? Thanks!

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well!

Our Extended demo does have a Candidates area. This is powered by the Resume Manager plugin. Where you can Submit your Resume and Search Resumes.

Hope this helps!

Hello, Trying to add ionicons to the main menu in Jobify. There are even spaces for them in WP admin to enter the code, but still no luck. About 6 month ago you mentioned that it was not supported. Are they still not supported? Are there any workarounds for this? Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today!

Unfortunately, this is not a feature supported by Jobify, unfortunately. There currently is no feature and it would need to be built at this time.

Hope this answers your question.

Hi there, just want to ask a question concerning the Map Area. At the moment it seem to look at the America, however, we are located in the UK, how do we do it so that it automatically looks at the UK. By the way, this is something that my brother and I are working on so I can’t see whether he still support. This is something you are aware of. If you’re unsure then please inbox me.

Thanks for reading

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

You can adjust this through Appearance>Customize>Jobs ▸ Map Settings. There you can set the default Map coordinates. This will display the Location of your choice, which is the UK, instead of the default USA coordinates.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Thanks for that!

I have another question if that is okay with you?

FONT: Stuff that comes in from Indeed looks a different font, how do we make it the same as the rest of theme?

Thanks

We can take a closer look at this issue for you through our Support Channel. Please submit a ticket and we will be happy to assist there.

How is it possible that you can’t choose your own h1, h2 and h3’s? The site-title is always the h1? The same h1 on every page? Why? No really, why?

How dare you say “We’ve coded Jobify in such a way that Google will love you and search results will reflect that”? This is just not true. Yes, the performance is ok but you can’t choose your own heading tags. Really guys?

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Currently, there is no built-in option to edit the Site-titles tags. The only possible way to do so is by going into the theme files and editing the tags used for the corresponding content. We do apologize for any inconvinience.

If you have any additional questions, let me know!

I logged into support but it says I haven’t purchased any products, so can you answer the question here please?

When I click on the ‘Apply for job’ button, the Ninja form appears, but there is no facility to upload a CV via the form. You can buy an add-on for $49 but it doesn’t send the attachment by email. It sends it to the server.

Is it possible to get the theme to work with Contact Form 7 or similar?

Thanks

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

Ninja Forms does offer the option to upload CVs via the form but as a paid feature. If you get the feature you need to configure the email sent to employers to have the attached file.

Jobify does work with Contact Form 7 and it does include the feature for free. You will need to configure the form and the email to send the attachment to the employer.

We can help you setup your forms through our Support Channel. Just make sure you are logging in with your Envato account. This will link your theme license on our website.

Fernando

Hi, How would I create paid job packages only for certain job categories? If selected category Cat A – Free job posting. If selected Cat B – Paid job posting. Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Categories do not determine if a job will be a Free or Paid Job Posting. You will need the WC Paid Listings in order to Create Listing Packages. Allowing users to submit jobs either for Free or for a Fee.

Hope this answers your question.

Question about user roles. There are 2 default roles for the theme: Employer and Candidate. The role is assigned depending on how a user registers (by posting a job or a resume), correct? I’d like the same website user to be able to both post jobs as well be able to have resumes to apply to other jobs. Would you recommend a different set-up for user roles in this case?

Hello there!

Hope you are doing well today and interesting question!

By default, the theme and WP Job Manager do not have any built-in restriction system. With that said Roles like “employer” and “candidate” don’t give the user any special capabilities by default. Unless you add restrictions using 3rd-party plugins or edit the default role using the User Role Editor plugin, an Employer can actually submit a Resume and apply for other jobs. They will just remain with the “employer” role.

You can change the setup if you wish, but it is not necessarily required.

If you have any additional questions, concerns, let us know through our Support Channel!

Hi, How to remove the map? It is not in active widgets, but it is showing on the site. From the few comments available here it is supposedly easy. The amount of stuff I need to fill out for technical support seems excessive for this question. Thanks

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

If you are referring to the default Results page, you can change the page’s template within the “Page Settings” when editing the page. Changing it to any other template besides the “Map & Results” Template.

If you are using them Map Widget I would just recommend replacing it with the Recent Jobs widget instead. Allowing you to show just results and no map.

If you need further assistance, let us know through support!

Fernando

In the previous comments, you mentioned social login will be available in Jobify 3.0 – when is that being released as I don’t see it in the current version. Thank you.

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

The Social Profile feature can be integrated using the WooCommerce Social Login plugin. This extension will integrate with the Default WooCommerce login and registration form.

Hope this helps!

Hi guys, love your themes btw. I’m looking to build a swapping/bartering job board. I see you guys offer marketify and jobify. What would you recommend for my needs? Focus lies on connecting two parties with interest in what other party has to offer. Need to build an extensive profile and easy to post a offer. Which theme would you recommend? Thanks, Peter.

Hi there Peter,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.

Marketify is designed to be a Digital Marketplace, not a Job Board. In this case, Jobify might be the best option since it is a Job Board theme. Although it is designed to be a Simple Job Board theme. Meaning there is no swapping/bartering feature between users and employers.

Users can simply look for jobs and apply for a job. From there Employers can communicate with the Candidate.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Fernando

hi Gents,

presale q.

In the demo and these kind of scripts, when a user signs up he is considered on the job board statistics on the home page .. ok .. and when the same user creates a “resume” .. another counter increase.

I mean you can have 10000 users but only 50 of them added their resumes , that is a problem for the companies who is searching for employees .. they dont want people who just put a username and password and considered a user.

Is it possible to make the “Add resume” MANDATORY for all the users in the system signed up as “candidates”? ... can it be a part of the “Sign up” process or something ??

what is the solution to something like that?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.

The best solution for this would be to remove the default registration form, and only have the Job and Resume submission pages. This prevents users from registering only and not submitting a job or candidate profile. Instead, the only way for a Candidate to register would be to submit a Resume profile on this page. When they submit a Resume/Candidate profile their account will be created at the same time.

Hope this makes sense.

Let me know if you have additional questions.

Fernando

one more question please … when a candidiate “uploads” his resume .. coz i know that resume plugin of WP job manager allows you to do that… and when that user applies to a job with his online resume … does this uploaded PDF file or whatever … gets “sent” to the employer as well?

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay.

The Resume Manager plugin has its own application feature. Which the user’s candidate profile will be emailed to the Employer. If the actual Resume PDF is not attached, they will have a direct link to the candidate’s page where they can download it.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello Jobify, i buyed jobify months ago and im very happy with. but since the last update the region doenst apperas any more. if i put a region on the job, there appears “anywhere”. even if its on the Job regions already. My support period is expired, but this is a problem after the last update. can you support me please? thx ricardo,

Hi there Ricardo,

Hope you are doing well.

Make sure under the WordPress Dashboard you check the Filter Location Display under Job Listings>Settings. After under Appearance>Customize>Jobs (and Resumes) ▸ Jobs you clear the Address Format field. This will display the Region instead.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Also, does this theme allow a second language?

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Yes, you can make Jobify into a Multilingual website. We recommend using Polylang to add a second language to your website.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hey Guys, I am using your 3.8.1 Jobify theme, but using the child theme included which is a 1.0. We are receiving an error only on the child theme when looking at candidates (and previews of their profile). Here is the error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home1/bloomthc/public_html/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 3774

It works as expected on the main theme and it also works on other themes such as Twenty Seventeen. Is there a quick fix or document you can point us at to help resolve this issue? I turned all of the plugins off too and that did not do the trick. It is only giving us this error on the child theme itself.

We do love the theme, but not being able to view candidate details is a big miss for us.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well once more.

I will be happy to have a look at the issue if you could kindly provide me access to your website I can take a closer look! :)

Hope to hear back through our support channel.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello! There are 3 user groups. 1,2,3 If a group 1 of users submits a job, only 2 groups of users see it. If 2 groups of users submit a job you can see the 2.3 user group. This can be done?

jamie

Hi, Jamie,

Hope you are doing well today.

At this time there is no restriction system in place. You can hide certain menu items to only certain roles to submit a job. Apart from that, any user role can view the job as there is no built-in restriction system as to who can view. You can either charge to view jobs using the WP Job Manager Packages plugin or use a subscription system like Restrict Content Pro to hide content from users.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi, I am interested in your job/recruitment theme but had some Pre-purchase questions.

We want to know is does the theme have the ability to let candidates upload a video as part of the cv profile and is it possible to make it required/compulsory so the candidate can’t publish their profile without the video.

If the above is possible can you please also show us a screenshot of what it looks like with video on the cv profile?

Thank you.

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Out of the box, it is not possible to have Candidates upload an actual video to the website. Instead, you can use a link to a video that will get added to the profile page. It will appear on the Jobify: Actions widget buttons and once clicked the video will appear like this.

The field is not mandatory but can be made to be using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin or code.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Hello guys, can I protect this theme with a membership plugin?

Also, what’s the difference in the two demos?

Regards.

Hey there,

Hope you are doing well today!

You can look into integrating Restrict Content Pro as it can be used with WP Job Manager. This will allow you to create subscriptions for your users and grant them access to certain pages.

As for our Demos, aside from the color scheme and images, the only major difference is the plugins they use.

Our Classic demo does not use ANY paid plugins. While our Extended demo does use some Paid Plugins.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Prebuy, its posible to add a booking plug in (woobooking) to make appointment to listings? like in listify? i prefer this jobify stile more clean

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for your interest in Jobify.

Unfortunately, Jobify does not offer support for Bookings. As it is meant to be a Job Board theme.

Hope this answers your question today.

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi there, you only sell the “regular” licence? Is it allowed to charge for job listings with this licence? Thank you, Markus

Dear Fernando, thank you very much for your reply. I’ve just purchased your theme and 12 months support. One quick question before I install: as I have a running site, I want to install and test jobify on a subdomain / different domain. Is it possible that I run into problems if I activate the licence now on the subdomain and later switch to the proper url? Thank you!

(also regarding the token which has to be created from Envato)

Hi there,

There won’t be any issues if you use a subdomain and then switch the theme to a different URL.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi, How Can I enable viewing of the Resume file uploaded by the candidate to the employer ? Thank You.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

If you are using the default Contact Form method, you should be able to view the files uploaded through the back-end. You can also set up for the email to be sent to the employer and yourself.

If you use the Applications extension, you can also view submissions from the back-end: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/applications/#section-8

Hope this answers your question.
