Hi, i was wondering for your theme demo on modern shop, why header on product category and on product doesnt have slider?.. in your demo its working but not into mine?
Hello @host1501
We are creating the category pages manually there using the WooCommerce elements, however with our new theme version that is 5.3 (under beta testing) you can now easily edit your category pages and assign slider to them directly
We will suggest you to wait for our new updated version that is coming soon.
Thanks for choosing Avada.

I have just updated Woocommerce to v3.2.0 and there is a message “Your theme (Avada) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. ”. I believe the template file is: Avada/woocommerce/checkout/thankyou.php version 3.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.2.0,......Will there be an Avada update soon?

Hello @lareeadair
You will have to use a 3rd party SEO plugin for this, there are many free plugins available and Yoast SEO is a very popular one that you can use for such features, if you need further info on this please do open a support ticket and our team will gladly assist you with all your queries.

Hello,
you offer a theme-included option to upload custom fonts. Right? Are the uploaded fonts are working with Slider Revolution and other plugins?
Thanks
Hello @gruebundmartsch
Yes indeed we do offer a theme option for this, however our own custom font does not load on 3rd party plugins such as Revolution Slider but you can always use custom CSS to load your fonts anywhere you want.
We will be happy for you to be a part of this Amazing Community!

Have you load tested your theme? I am looking to have up to about 10,000 concurrent views and wanted to see if you have had any issues with timeouts or overloads with your theme and woocommerce.
Hello @Haulsadmin
There should be no such issues however these values depends on your server mainly and you can always increase those values after getting in touch with your server administrator. However for any other queries we suggest you to open a support ticket with our team and we will gladly assist you with it.

Hello! Really love this theme. So easy to work with. Question: the client wanted a predominantly one page site, but also wanted a couple pages that are actual pages. I was able to add anchors for the menu items that land on the home page, but when on one of the actual pages, and you click on an anchor menu, it just sits there (I’m thinking because it can’t find the anchor on THAT page). Is there any way to have both worlds? Here’s my site so far: http://pavewest.net/
I should mention that I did try to put the entire URL (and not just the anchor) in the menu, but now all the menu items on the Home Page are highlighted. Is it possible for it to act correctly?

I am mortified with this new theme update. The backend is a huge mess and it lacks formatting stating “Failed to load plugin url: http://robmar.com/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/js/fusion-plugin.js" and I cannot update my pages. Furthermore, the Slider Revolution is also not properly formatted, and I cannot access any sliders NOR can I turn it off on the home page so it’s not visible. I am so upset that trying to get the token, upload the theme, get the plugins to work, and nothing works, losing two hours of time. I need assistance yet my support has expired. I’m very frustrated at the moment and I need some help as I do not have time to buy a new theme from another author and rebuild this site. Please advise.

Hi! I added the image carousel with all square image sizes (821×821 and 750×750), but sometimes there is a gap/margin at the very right side of the carousel. Also between the arrow and the side of the page there is a little gap. But the strange thing is that when I make my internet screen bigger or smaller, somethimes there is no gap and somethimes there is. On mobile there is no gap. The image carousel is full width and I add 0px gap between images and that’s ok. But on the right side there is.. I really dont understand whats going on here. Do you know this issue? You can see the carousel at fitnessnext.itsomimedia.nl at the bottom of the home page!
Really hope you can help me! Please make your screen smaller and bigger to see the gap is somethimes there and somethimes not..
Like to hear!

Hello, just a suggestion for your development work.
I am making an extensive test on page load speed, starting from the basic WP installation. When Avada + child theme is installed the number of HTTP requests increases dramaticaly, with 88 (!!!) new requests.
If you disable various features in the Extras section you save 7 requests.
I have noticed that many HTTP requests are there for Avada features that are not always used.
For this reason my suggestion is: allow users to decide what Fusion functions to enable (or disable), in order to bring to a minimum level the number of HTTP requests.
Thank you.
Hello @Numbernine
Thank you for your suggestions and feedback, however that extra section is exactly why its there so users can enable / disable the features as per their requirement.
Thanks
-Ammar
Yes, obviously it is… but I believe it is very circumscribed.
For instance, if I am not going to use the counters circle feature, why do I need the request to…
wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/assets/js/min/general/fusion-counters-circle.js?
Or if I do not need the countdown, why do I need to load the file…
http://avadaminify.cumvincerelab.it/wp-content/plugins/fusion-builder/assets/js/min/general/fusion-countdown.js?There is plenty of features in Avada, but only a part of them is used.
So why loading them all as HTTP requests?
Thank you.
Hello @Numbernine
there might some confusion be going on regarding the disabling of scripts and features, so I hope I can help to clear this up.
Yes, some of the general scripts can be disabled in Theme Options (on Advanced > Theme Features tab). But since you are referring to counter circles e.g., I want to point out that those are Fusion Builder elements. If you choose not to use certain elements of Fusion Builder at all on your site, you can disable them on the Fusion Builder setiings page: https://i.imgur.com/MqEMgWl.png, https://i.imgur.com/ubH9iCh.png.
Also, from the files you quote, I do get that you don’t use our JS compiler, which can be enabled in Theme Options > Advanced section: https://i.imgur.com/6LTF5j0.png, https://i.imgur.com/LsQ2AOz.png. If you enable it, only one javascript file will be loaded from the theme per page, which will reduce requests dramatically.
You can see that in action e.g. on our live demo. Even on the counter circle demo page (https://avada.theme-fusion.com/counter-circles/), you won’t find the corresponding JS file being loaded, because the JS compiler is on. Although a lot of features are used on our main live demo, you will only find 33 requests on that page and a Google Page Speed score of 99%: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/avada.theme-fusion.com/c4KgNySx
(By the way, just for the sake of completeness, GTMetrix currently has the stats, that 85 requests are the average for an arbritary webpage that is checked.)
I hope that helps and clears this up a bit more.
If you have further questions, please open a support ticket, and we’ll be happy to provide answers and to investigate issues.
Thanks Mark
Hello, thank you for your complete reply. It is just another proof of your professionality.
I have considered the number of calls before using the JS compiler, because – IMHO – any file which is minified still takes space in the final minified file.
Disabling Fusion features in the Fusion Builder / Settings section does not always prevent the corresponding files from being loaded, and for this reason I tought that completely disabling some features might have been an advantage, although I know nothing about the technical implications.
There is no criticism in what I am writing: only appreciation for the best WP theme available. I would not have spent such time discussing about a minor theme
Just for the sake of information the 85 calls quoted by GT Metrix are an average number as you say, and include sites ranging from 20 requests (google.com) to over 460 (nytimes.com).
In my opinion I would very much like to find a way of having a “slim” version of Avada within Avada, that each site developer could shape to fit her / his needs easily and more safely than the W3 Total Cache minify functions offer, although this is in a good proportion already possible.
It was positive and interesting crossing my opinions with yours, although mine are much less relevant in this context.
Thank you for your time.
Hello!
Thanks again for your feedback. We are happy that you took the time to get in touch with us
The overall number of assets included, the number of requests and the amount of features, will depend to a large extent on the site setup and the site scope. So this is a topic where unfortunately there is no one for all answer or recipe. Here also the GTMetrix average comes in, as it shows how different the sizes and scopes of sites can be. What I wanted to point out is, that even with all features turned on, Avada still is nicely along the average here. And when optimized, using the JS and CSS compilers, like on our demo, the requests come down to the lower end of requests measured by GTMetrix.
Regarding disabling Fusion Builder elements: If you e.g. disable counter circles (like you mentioned), the corresponding JS file won’t ever be included, regardless of the JS compiler state. That is true for all JS assets that are specific to one element of feature. There are some assets that are shared among different elements, so those will always be loaded, unless all of the corresponding elements have been disabled, or there is a Theme Option setting on advanced tab to turn it fully off. And example for that would be the lightbox feature.
Avada is, as you indicated, a full stacked theme, so includes a vast amount of features. Obviously not all websites will need all of them. So in order to get a lighter version of Avada, doing an analysis of features and elements you’ll need and to then disable all that you don’t need, will be the way to go. Using the JS and also the CSS compiler, will improve this even further, and give you decent results. Any kind of server side caching plugin is also a good thing to use, if you are familiar with the setup.
You are most welcome!
Thanks Mark
Very clear explaination. Thank you Mark. Happy developing!

Hi, I am very happy with the theme, but I can not place the header above the slider. I do not want the header to be transparent. Please help. I have already tried to click the button, place slider “Below” header.
My website is: https://unikoda.dk/
Hello @Ejorgensen7
The only thing that you need to do here is set your header as opaque as right now its set to transparent, as long as its transparent the header will always come over the slider so you need to change the transparency value to 1 from either Theme Options or Fusion Options.
You can read more about it here => http://bit.ly/1DSsLpG

Hi I already have a Woocommarce theme and want to keep the content. Can I use your child theme to change layout and style? Or I need to install and activate the full version and demo content to make it work?
Hello @mariovfx
This depends on what kind of code was your previous theme using, if it was embedding its own shortcodes into the woocommerce they might not look same however if it was using simple woo elements you will be good to go also child theme or parent theme does not affect anything when it comes to migration from one theme to another.

We are looking for a true MOBILE specific theme that allows custom build pages and products. And custom menu and headers etc. Doe your theme allow such thing?
Hello Mariovfx
Our theme is 100% responsive, however we also have a feature called “Fusion Builder Visibility System” where you can create different layouts for Mobile, Desktop as well as Tablets by hiding the respective elements and containers, a custom mobile menu can also be assigned to your theme that will load only on mobile.
