The sidebar area was actually renamed as “Widget Area” due to the reason that any sidebar you create can also be applied to your pages and other widgetized areas such as sliding bar. So if you want to create a new sidebar (widget area) please go to Appearance > Widgets > Widget Section

You can not put your own custom content into that specific area however you can put the content inside the footer widget area from Appearance > Widgets and put your own social icons there.

Yes, that is definitely possible using our Fusion Options that works individually for each page only where you set them so please edit your page and than scroll down to Fusion Options > Header > Header BG and change the opacity from there.

Can you create custom layout templates for posts?
I want to create a fairly complicated layout with a number of rows, modules, custom fields, etc. that have a custom layout that will then need to be applied to about 65 posts in a specific category. Then we’ll be filling in information into each of those specific to the post.
However, the design is not final and so we may need to update the colors, fonts, some other things on the layout side and want to be able to update all 65 posts. Is this possible?
(I’m NOT talking about what some people call templates that have global elements that contain a loop element and are the same information on every page.)

That is not a template, its more like a custom post type of its own that has custom fields, however if its only about the columns and some elements of our Fusion Builder that is definitely possible by saving them as a template to library and loading them later on.

Yes, I am more interested in using Fusion Builder to layout the page correctly, and the fields can be pulled in via shortcode.
Question: If I use a template I create in Fusion Builder on say 50 posts, then we want to change some of the design (ex: background color of a row) can I do that to ones that already had the template applied? Is it global or more of a copy/paste situation with the template library.

Or can I create a page template using Fusion Builder, save it as a page template in my library, apply it to ~50 posts, add post-specific information to each of those and then change some of the design (ex: background color of a row) within the original page template and have that change applied to all of the posts that used the page template without overwriting the post content?

You need to install and run the “Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin” after making the change so that your new thumbnail size can be registered and be used, if however the issue persist please do open a support ticket and our team will guide you further

It works. The image become square now, I do set the image with 202202 however the real image showes as 400400 in my computer.

We use H1 for our main page title bar that you can disable or enable from Theme Options or Fusion Options however the rest of them are in your own control where you can choose from the header title, if you want to learn more about this please do open a support ticket with us.

Definitely this can be done, you need to scroll down to Fusion Options > Sliders and disable the slider from there and than you can set an image inside your first container (background image) to show instead of slider, however please make sure you are using 100% width page template.

Hi, I just started using the Portfolio to showcase the team members & the departments they belong to. It works great, as a team member can belong to more than one department. The only thing is that I can’t have the headings “Project Description”, “Project Details” & “Skills Needed” showing up on the single portfolio post page. Is there anywhere I can amend these headings in the child theme so they don’t get overwritten when I update? Cheers.

If you want to change those headings to something else you can use our translation technique and translate them to the heading of your own choice by replacing / translating the string however if you want to completely remove those headings you can simply do that by using Fusion Options on the portfolio page

Hi: Bug report here. The code in fusion-responsive-typography.js interferes with the revolution slider font sizing when using h1 h2 elements instead of a div element. We must use h1 h2 for SEO purposes. I have modified the selectors in your code to exclude headings inside the rev slider like so: h1:not(.tp-caption), h2:not(.tp-caption) and now the rev slider works as intended. I hope you can work a fix into your next release so I don’t have to edit this file every time. Thank you!

Thanks Ammar: our support has expired, and we aren’t in need of it, but I thought your devs should know about this bug. The rev slider applies inline styles (including font sizes) to its layers. Avada also modifies font-size property on headings (globally). The two are in conflict and the Avada js breaks the proper functioning of the rev slider (specifically w/r/t h1,h2,h3,h4 elements).

That should be working, if it is not it could be a plugin conflict with WooCommerce, I’d try to disable them all and see if it works, and reenable one by one.
You can also check the page in inspector tools to see if there are any errors, most likely one shows.

at least – could you add option to control width of a sidebar in woocommerce? I’d like to widen it to 400px but setting custom CSS moves it below the main content – can you help?
We already have that, you can control all sidebar widths in theme options > sidebars. Both dual and single. These are site wide though, not individual per WooCommerce or post type.
For the 100% width, technically we do actually allow this but we don’t have an option in the page options. Eg, if you set pyre_portfolio_width_100 to yes in custom options we do apply it so product is 100% width.
We’ll add a page option for it soon.
