ah unfortunately ravenly only available in the latest font update, we need to update the library first to enable it. i’ll list it in the update plan for now. sorry for that. and for blog post title please add this to your custom css

oh! you can add html tags in your title area to achieve that example
<i>Double </i> Denim <b>Day</b>
this will make double italicized and day bolded

I’ve had your theme for a while now but have never been able to get the featured area working. I’ve gone into the options and activated it but for some reason, it just never seems to show up. Is there something I’m missing from within the posts themselves?
hi i will need to see your site first to be able to provide an accurate answer. but usually this issue comes from a wrong category slug (fix: you can leave Selected Featured Category option empty in customizer -> featured area) or because you use front page template (featured area is only for blog page).
Hi there. Just downloaded the Travel Demo onto my clients website annecherise.com – but for some reason there is a white box around the Featured Blog Post, where as in the demo it’s just white text over the featured image. How do I adjust this?

you can change the style via appearance -> widget -> open front page first row and change the style of df widget – recent big widget to style 2 to get the title below the image

No if you go to http://dahz.daffyhazan.com/applique/travel (no /front-page) it doesn’t have a white box. That’s the design I want to use.
ah that’s only available in blog page template, for widgets we dont have that style. to use blog page template you can choose your latest post page as your front page and then enable the featured area (style: single boxed) as your featured slider.
Sorry I have tried getting this to work with no luck. We downloaded the ‘TRAVEL – GRID 2 COL FULLWIDTH’ demo. The goal is to get the slider without the boxes but still be able to have the feature slider and the three widget boxes underneath the blog. Just looking for steps to get it to look exactly like the demo.

to achieve the demo look. you need to :
first, choose your latest posts as your front page. (customizer -> Static front page)
then make sure blog layout is using the masonry 2 columns (customizer -> general layout)
then enable the featured area and use the single boxed slider type (customizer -> featured area)
then add the widgets (3 boxes) in blog columns widget area (customizer -> widgets & make sure you are opening the home/latest post page in the customizer)

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to reduce the extra space at the bottom of the posts showing on the homepage. The space looks ok on the full site, but when it collapses to the mobile version the space to scroll from one post to the next is very noticeable.

Hi Dahz, the extra space occurred on the “front page template” but when I switched to the “latest display” for the posts page, the problem was corrected. However, the issue I have with the “latest display” is that I like the look of the posts page now but I want to limit the posts to select categories. Is there a way for the posts page to display all the latest posts from select categories or tags? Also, when I add the “big posts” widget to the widget area, it works fine if I have the number of posts set at 2 or more, but if I change the number of posts to 1, it won’t display on the page. I figured that maybe it was meant to be that way, but when I used the “med posts” and “small posts” widget and changed the number of posts to 1, they both displayed on the page. Any help would be great, thanks!

hi there’s only one shop page in the theme so you cant realy change it, apart from color and minor styling.

Hey I used the code to take off the tribal divider. It took it off from the homepage blog but when I click on the actual article, I see it in the individual articles. Can it be deleted from there also?
So to recap:
1. Want to delete the tribal divider from ALL pages. Homepage as well as single blog posts
2. Will I be able to use visual composer with this theme?
3. I can’t find the shop page in the backend within the “Pages” tab
oh thought you only want in the homepage, for that:
1. you can change the previous code withsvg {

2. no, we dont add compatibility with visual composer in applique
3. you can create new page or check which page is it in woocommerce -> setting .

Unfortunately, applique doesn’t have feature to add search icon / form to the main menu. Applique search icon appears on the right floating sidebar (for desktop screen) and on mobile header.

Unfortunately applique doesn’t have option to disable sidebar only on single post. But you can turn off the sidebar for single post and page globally via customizer -> general layout -> and check the Disable Sidebar On Single Post or Page option.

Dear Dahz-Team,
Unfortunately I have for about 2 weeks a big problem to display my pictures on my website. The pictures are uploaded in the desired size (1850px) at Wordpress and have a great and sharp quality in the media library after that. If I add the pictures to a post, they are still sharp while I’m working on it. But when I put the site online, the pictures lose a lot of quality, have artifacts and are not sharp.
In addition, the problem is that the images were displayed the weeks bevor without problems in the uploaded width of 1850px. Now they are suddenly much smaller.
I try to fix this by using CSS with “img.size-full {width: 1085px;}”, but the quality is still bad.
Is it possible that the theme use a different picture size somewhere?

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience.
Please try to deactivate the plugins that not required for the theme (especially jetpack if you use it). If the problems fixed by this method, then re-activate the plugins 1 by 1 to seek which plugin caused the problem.
