hi the theme have 1 bug can you fix it ? when use mega menu and i use sticy menu the page from mega menu no roll down move up down like bug and cant choice the category item my support its expired for that i tell here to fix it ty
Hi, that’s not a bug. Since your mega menu is taller than the screen and you use the sticky header it’s normal what’s happening. What you need to do is add a max height on the inner menu container to generate an inner scrollbar in Journal > Settings > Header > Menus > Main Menu > Mega Menu Max Height.

Infinite scroll included in Journal2 don’t support dynamic URLs. Please add this feature to the theme!
It’s needed for correct work Mega Filter Pro (MFP). When apply filter – it’s work well, but when you scroll down – all other products lazy loading to the list without applying filter marks.

Hi, that is correct and we don’t have plans to make it work with Mega Filter Pro unfortunately. Please consult with the extension developers if you need to modify the extension to work with our infinite scroll feature. We had to modify our own Super Filter module to accommodate the infinite scroll concept but cannot assist with other 3rd party extensions.

Hi, your last reply was 13h ago. Our response time can be up to 24h depending on the queue. As soon as we reply to a ticket we move to the next in the queue. It’s a good idea to include temporary access to your store in the initial ticket so that you save time if our developers need it.

Hi, first of all your issue was not theme related. Second, it was Sunday night when our developers looked at your ticket and realised they need store access. We don’t know what time zone you are in but we do try to sleep at night. So now we just started our day and are responding to all comments and tickets.
Also, we do not provide live chat support, any single comment or ticket reply can take up to 24h. Even so, this is the best support you can get on any Opencart theme on Themeforest, we are pretty confident with that.

Hi, that’s not a theme file, it’s the default Opencart template file for the default module which is not used in Journal. You will never see those changes in a Journal module like Custom Sections or Carousel. But you don’t need to edit the file, you can do that from Journal > Settings > Catalog Mode > Product Grid…

Have you considered Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) for future Journal releases?
I know it’s not possible for the entire theme because of limitations, but certain static pages with no dynamic content could be cool.

Hi, we do not have plans for this unfortunately. AMP is not really that great because it doesn’t magically make your store faster.
It imposes certain coding limitations, you have to basically exclude many HTML tags from your pages, it only accepts certain tags and there are lots of other limitations. So something like that will require heavy core file modifications.
If you do some research on AMP you’ll find that it’s not really that great in most cases, when you consider its limitations:

Hi, you should add that code directly in the footer template file so that it applies to all pages as otherwise the module will need to be added to all layouts.

Hi, Journal 1 cannot be updated to Journal 2 they are 2 separate themes so you will have to remove Journal 1 and design your store in Journal 2 engine.

I want to buy this theme but I’ve noticed this in the demo that Structured data showing up as Unspecified types on product pages. Also category pages Breadcrumbs structured data not showing up at all.
Can you provide a fix or new version with this fixed?
Also reviews don’t show in Theme 13. I tried submitting 1 but it would have to be approved before it will show up. Can you do that.
Hi, the unspecified type is added because of a bug in Rich snippets testing tool and it refers to the Open Graph meta tags but we’ll investigate this further and we’ll provide a fix if needed. If you test a product page in Rich Snippets testing tool, you’ll see the Product type too as well as Breadcrumbs type: http://take.ms/5L6ZI

Yes, I did see the structured data for the product and breadcrumbs and those look good. I didn’t see it for the product reviews on the product pages. I don’t see the breadcrumbs marked up as structured data on any of the other pages besides the product page. I wouldn’t care too much about the Open Graph tags as long as the other things are working. Thanks

There was never a guarantee when it will be completed. Since our priority is still Journal 2 we have to provide support and any potential fixes for the current theme and then whatever time we have left we dedicate it to Journal 3. We will have the confirmed list of features when they are all completed, we still add stuff to it and have to properly test them in all situations before we can confirm it. So as it is now we’re still hard at work on it (as time permits, because most of the day is spent on high demand support for Journal 2).

Your store looks good from our testing with the minifier on, however for further investigation you need to file a ticket on our support page. Moreover, you have a very old theme version on your store so please update to the latest version as lots of things have been fixed since.

Hi, unfortunately that’s not possible at this stage in Opencart because Opencart uses lots of inline javascript throughout the page that will not work anymore since it depends on the plugin referenced to be loaded before the actual inline code.
