Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

Using the Resume Manager plugin you can allow candidates to create a Resume profile and upload their resume. You can then add a widget to allow users to download the resume if you wish.

Fernando

Good Morning send notices of vacancies by email?

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well.

By default, there is no option to email out Vacancies by email. You can send out Newsletters with 3rd-party plugins. Another option is using the Job Alerts plugin. Which notifies users when a job is posted matching saved search criteria.

Hope this answers your question.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Pre-Sales Question

I want to create a job portal website using your theme and WPJM. I have done some research and also saw your demo.

My idea is have a preset regions and user will only select it so they don;t have to input the location field.

My question is,

1)if we use the “Regions for WP Job Manager” with your theme, can your theme hide the Location field in the job submition form? I know i can be done by CSS, but which is not a solution, the job meta and [jobs] list will show the location “anywhere”

2) Can the job list location replace by the pre set regions ? 3) can the single job page, the job meta location display regions in stead of the google location

From your demo, i saw the regions and the locations is actually different. is may be you manually input the location (and choose the region) when creating that demo.

What i want to achive is remove the “location” totally and replace by the regions plug in. is this possible?

Thanks

Dusing

Hello Dusing,

Hope you are doing well today.

By default, the Location field is a core component but you can have the Region chosen replace it with Jobify.

1) There is no option to hide the Location field out of the box. This can be removed using Code or using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

2+3) Now to display the Region instead of “Anywhere” or the Location entered, you can do the following.

- Visit the settings and enable “Filter Location Display”. - Visit the Job Settings in the customizer and clear the Address format.

In doing so when a Region is selected it will display on the Jobs Location Meta.

So it can be possible. You just need to add the Regions and it can be achievable.

Hope this helps!

Thats for all listings. I uploaded the demo content

Could you use this for hiring people on a local basis – and how could you get paid for that in terms of helping a company find a freelancer ?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out.

The most common way to earn a profit from a Job Board theme like this is charging a fee for Companies to post jobs. This can be done with the WC Paid Listings plugin. With it, you can Create a Listing Package.

You can also charge Candidates a fee to post Resume profiles similar to jobs also.

Hope this helps!

Fernando

Many thanks – what I wanted to do was use it similar to Upwork where people would post their profiles, but if a client wanted to hire them, they would it do it via the website.

I have been translating a lot on our website, but I can’t seem to translate this ‘for 1 job’ in Locotranslate. I can’t find it anywhere. I was able to translate the rest of the text in the tables, but this one is not updating at all. Could you help me with this? It’s for this website: https://va-executive.nl/tarieven/

Hi there,

This text is from the WC Paid Listings plugin. Review the plugins language folder in order to translate it.

If you need further assistance translating this, we can assist through our Support Channel.

Is it possible to change the testimonials section to something like this https://ps.w.org/wpstudio-testimonial-slider/trunk/screenshot-1.jpg?rev=1694212 because the speech bubbles look too playful and outdated. It would be nice to have a more corporate option there, the current one seems a little too childish.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for your feedback.

At this time the theme only comes with one template for Testimonials. It currently only displays them the way it is in the demo and the styling would need to change in order to modify it.

I can pitch it to our team and see if we can enhance the styling of testimonials.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi Fernando,

Thank you for the prompt reply. Please please forward it to your team, I would highly appreciate it if there could be another option that looks a bit more modern and professional. Many thanks!

Hi Fernando, just wanted to follow up if your team has maybe thought about enhancing the style for testimonials? Still the only con of the theme :-(

Hi there,

I am looking to import classifieds from awpcp.com plugin to jobify theme. I want to know if it is possible? I would then buy Jobify and make it happen.

looking forward.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

You should be able to import Classifieds into the Job Section using the WP All Import plugin along with the Jobify add-on. See here.

Just keep in mind Jobify is meant to be used as a Job Board website.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello. I am using Jobify to build a website and I want to use a font which is not included in the theme. Is there a way to add it?

thank you

Hi there!

Hope you are doing well today!

At this time in order to add custom fonts, you will need to use custom code to integrate them. You may be able to use plugins to also add additional fonts.

Hope this answers your questions.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi there,

Hi, is there any way of searching on multiple regions? Thanks

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Unfortunately, only one region can be searched at one time. The theme or the Regions plugin doesn’t have the option for multi-region search at this time.

Sorry about that.

Kind regards,

Fernando

Can I use this theme to build a site like Upwork or Freelancer? If not what theme should I use for that type of site? If so will it require me to buy the theme and additional plugins? If so, what plugins will be required?

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Jobify is designed to be a Job Board theme. You can use the Resume Manager plugin in order to add a candidate section. Allowing for recruiters and Employers to look up Freelancers and candidates. This will give you a base for something like Upwork or Freelancer, but this is not the exact purpose of the Jobify theme.

To build something like Upwork or Freelancer, you will need to customize the theme further to get exactly what you are after.

Hope this answers your question.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Fernando

Hello,

Please could I see a demo of the Indeed integration plugin on a job?

Thank you

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today.

At this time we do not have a demo with the Indeed extension. The plugin will allow you to display Indeed jobs with your websites jobs. This is what it looks like when jobs are integrated with your results page. See here.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Thank you, how does it look once a visitor clicks on it? Does it go to indeed or are the job details pulled to fit into a page within the theme?

Many thanks

Users will be directed to view the Job on the Indeed website.

Fernando

Hi,

I have sent an email to Fernando as a reply to a previous conversation. Can you please have a look as your Contact Listing owner plugin has serious issues (does not appear on random websites, does not send application information to application email if set to @listingowner with Gravity Froms)

Thank you

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well, I replied back to your email. Let me know which site you need assistance with and I can take a closer look.

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hi,

Thank you, sent a reply with details already.

Kind regards,

Hi I have bought the Jobify theme + the addons pack on the Astoundify website. now my question is what other addons do I need to have an up and running jobboard? Woo commerce and job manager? second question is there a way to translate the theme to dutch? thanks!

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today and thanks for reaching out!

The theme will work out of the box without any premium plugins. If you wish to add any additional features like our demo see this list.

You can integrate additional WP Job Manager extensions found here and they will work with the theme: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/

As for translations, see this article in order to translate your website: Translate your website.

Fernando

Pre-purchase question: Hi, I want to have a site for a recruiter only..there won’t be other employers listing their jobs, just this one recruiter. I assume I can remove employer sections? As I only want to have job listings. This wouldn’t be used as a paid site either. It’s simply one company doing the hiring for employers. Would this work for that? Finally, do you have a map feature that shows where the recruiters are located? I’d want a map per location. In addition, a map showing the locations of all jobs that are listed? My client also does not want the name of the employer listed. I assume it’s possible to NOT include that? Thanks!

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well today.

Question: I want to have a site for a recruiter only..there won’t be other employers listing their jobs, just this one recruiter. I assume I can remove employer sections?

Answer: If one user will be managing all Jobs this can all be done from the back-end. You can remove all front-end pages for managing jobs.

Question: This wouldn’t be used as a paid site either. It’s simply one company doing the hiring for employers.

Answer: The Paid feature requires the WC Paid Listing. If it is not needed, no need to get the plugin.

Question: Finally, do you have a map feature that shows where the recruiters are located?

Answer: If you want to have Jobs and Recruiters, you will need the Resume Manager plugin and instead of having candidates, you create Recruiter profiles. Similar to this: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/find-a-candidate/ This would be the best option.

Question: I’d want a map per location. In addition, a map showing the locations of all jobs that are listed?

Answer: The Jobs section will also have a map showing the Jobs location like this: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/find-a-job/

Question: My client also does not want the name of the employer listed. I assume it’s possible to NOT include that?

Answer: The Employer can be ignored when creating jobs from the back-end. If you use the front-end submission, you will need to edit the fields using the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

Hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Fernando

Hello!

I need to create a job board that connects individuals who want to teach English in Japan with companies in Japan who want to hire English teachers. The idea is to make this website highly specific and niche. I need to be able to charge employers for posting their job opportunities on our website and create both free-tier and paid-tier options for individuals to post their resumes (3 different tiers is ideal). Employers definitely need to have to log into an account on my webpage (which means I need certain security features). Payment processing for both parties is entirely necessary as well. Location information for where each job is available would also be very useful as well. Because this job board is to connect English and Japanese speakers, multi-lingual support is imperative. Please let me know if your product fits my needs. Thanks for your time.

Hello there,

Hope you are doing well today!

Question: I need to be able to charge employers for posting their job opportunities on our website and create both free-tier and paid-tier options for individuals to post their resumes (3 different tiers is ideal).

Answer: In order to charge users for posting jobs you will need the WC Paid Listings plugin in order to Create Listing Packages. Now if you wish to show certain fields and options you will need to use the WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin. This will allow you to hide fields or show them depending on your package.

Question: Employers definitely need to have to log into an account on my web page (which means I need certain security features).

Answer: An account will be always created when a user submits a job, or you can force users to register first before submitting a job. You can use the default Registration form used in our demo.

Question: Payment processing for both parties is entirely necessary as well.

Answer: WooCommerce provides all the Payment processing. Now if you wish to hide content for your individuals, you can charge a fee using the Packages plugin

Question: Location information for where each job is available would also be very useful as well.

Answer: Users can enter the Jobs location and it will be displayed on the Results Map page.

Question: Because this job board is to connect English and Japanese speakers, multi-lingual support is imperative.

Answer: You can use Polylang to make your website Multilingual.

Kind Regards,

Fernando
