What defines related products? I thought it would be tags or categories but it appears not to be. How can I make sure that relevant related products show on the main product page?

As I know in woocommerce by default related products are selected by the same category. We kept here default functionality, so here is default behavior.

Dear Woss Themes Team, I installed the theme and all the plugins but the Visual Composer gives me this message: “There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 5.4.2 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?” And the Layered Popups plugin: “There is a new version of Layered Popups available. View version 6.25 details or update now”. And it is not possible to update either of the two. The Visual Composer asks me to buy a license and the update of the pop up plugin just fails. Any advice? Thank you!

You don’t need to buy nothing separately. We try to keep up to date all the bundled plugins with each theme update. Well in next theme update all the plugins and files will be updated for sure, but until that time simply use plugins included with the theme, they are fully integrated and compatible with the theme, and do not worry about license key plugins ask you for.

Dear WossThemes team, I have just purchased and installed your Artday theme and am really excited about it! Now I am thinking of using the child theme as in the future I will certainly need to modify some codes to personalize my site. I am learning how to code in the meantime. The question is should I install the child theme and do all my work on my new site on it? And if I upload the child theme do I need to activate the parent theme or only the child? Thank you!

If you want to make some changes certainly you need to use child theme. To use it you need to install parent theme and child, but active theme should be child. And then if you want to migrate your website for example from localhost to your server you need to do the same thing, to install both of themes and to left active child theme.
If you’ll activate parent theme all your modifications from child theme will not be applied. Hope it will help to understand how child is working

In new versions of Wordpress there are default function that allow you to add different media in wordpress editor. So you can add youtube or soundcloud url in editor and it will appear automatically with image, title and link.

Love the theme. Unfortunately the plugins are crashing my site and I cannot activate the WPBakery plugin, which pretty much means I can’t use the theme.
Every time I activate that plugin I get a memory allocation error.
My domain has 2,048 MB RAM.
Suggestions?
(I have deactivated and deleted every other plugin except woo-commerce, Jet Pack and the plugins related to this theme.

That is your server environment issue. Simply you do not have sufficient memory to run all the plugins. I can suggest you to make sure that your PHP version installed is bigger than 5.3
But with out of memory issue will be much better to contact your hosting provider, only they can increase it for you.

Thanks for your work on this theme. I’ve followed the installation process for the Artday theme (twice) and I don’t seem to have any of the images that are present in your demo. All I seem to have are geometric patterns. Is there a way to replace these images with the ones from your demo. I’d like to start by getting my theme to look like yours and then move on from there.

As I see you get exactly the same structure as in our preview. Only one thing as you know following the Envato rules, authors can’t sell themes with the images, they are only for preview. So all the themes that are on themeforest are sold without images. But for easier understanding all the images are replaced with image holders, so you just need to replace them with your own.

This is Visual Composer element, so you can find it in list of elements. But it will be much easier for you to import all the demo data on your website, in this case you’ll exactly the same structure as you see in our preview, and you need just to replace the text and images with your own, instead of making everything from scratch.
But “New Prints” it’s a custom category name, but in this field you can add everything you want. You can change it from every product edit page.

Hello, I’m getting the error from artday:Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpb_map() in /home/avriltho/public_html/wp-content/themes/artday/wpbakery/vc-extend.php on line 40
It was working earlier but then crashed the WP site and disabling it has regained my access. I then removed artday and installed a fresh download but it still give this error. My host provider has also tried different PHP versions to no avail. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, on mobile (Android/Chrome), links with submenus in the main nav don’t work very well. You have to tap numerous times before they do anything. The first tap changes the link colour and it takes a second tap before the submenu opens although sometimes submenus don’t open on second tap and this requires several taps. What’s up with that .?

it’s a default height of the logo, try to increase this size, it should solve the issue. Also don’t forget to clear the browser cache after changes.

Just checked, your logo is small in itself and has and indent from left and right. If you don’t have possibility to make it bigger as image you’ll need to change some code for logo wrapper. Send an email to us with link to your website and login details, we’ll be glad to help you.

1. You can disable it only directly from code or by adding these lines in your style.css file

But with second and third I’m little confused, I’n not quite sure that I understand correctly what you meant.
