I’m having an issue when enabling the Child Theme. All of the navigation menus disappear. Any menus that I try re-creating refuse to display on the website at all. If I disable the child theme, they come back.
I’ve tried clearing my cache and resetting my permalinks, but that hasn’t made any difference.
Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance

Hi , still have issues with mega menu on ipad, I registered this on your support forum almost a year ago, a update was told to come. Now since support have ended I can not even post a request/update on this old reported issue. Please guide me how to proceed. Buy 6 months new support for an existing not closed issue/task is not ok.

I did further research and I can see what you mean. I submitted the issue to our developers again to be reviewed. As soon as possible, a fix will be included in a new theme update.

The theme is wonderful, but I have a suggestion. For the main navigation, the menu can only be placed on the right or the left, and not centered. If you add the possibility to center the menu, it would be even more wonderful.

There are 3 built in option where the logo and menu are centered and you can find them by navigating to Shopkeeper > Customize > Header > Header Styles: https://www.screencast.com/t/UQIaUvq5ZYh

Yes, I had an idea for a layout, where the logo would be on the left, the main navigation centered, and the cart etc. icons on the right. And all this would be on one line of course. If you could add that to the theme, it would be perfect.

Hi, I’m trying to set up a child theme with ‘Child Theme Configurator’, everything goes great until the moment it shows a fatal error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare shopkeeper_remove_reviews_tab() (previously declared in /home/techgt/public_html/wp-content/themes/shopkeeper/functions.php:291) in /home/techgt/public_html/wp-content/themes/shopkeeper/functions.php on line 291
If I insist and activate the child theme, it all goes berserk losing all my adjustments.
Any ideas what I could do here?
So I tried uninstalling the ‘configurator’, deleting the child folder and installing the child zip from the files package, and same result. Losing all my adjustments upon installation of the child theme. Any ideas?

That error isn’t caused by the theme or child theme and it comes from the changes you or the plugin you used did. That function is called twice and this shouldn’t happen. Maybe you can try a fresh installation of the theme and child theme.

To add a logo you’ll need to navigate to Shopkeeper > Customize > Header > Logo. If there’s the place where you uploaded the image but still can’t see it on your website, then you should clear your cache and check again.

Since more than a week I have the problem that since I made the update with header-default it doesn’t show my logo. with another header style it works. I uploaded everywhere I could a logo, but the problem still exists. Not only for this client, also for another clients where I installed the theme shopkeeper.

I have a problem with getting the product menu font colour to appear as well. I’m using a dark transparent header for my front page, no transparent header for my shop page. However, for my product page, the head doesn’t seem to follow the shop’s header settings. Can you assist me with it?

Thanks for getting back to me.
Yes they are currently showing as it seems if I change the header style to have my logo aligned to the left they re-appear, however this is not how the site was designed and not how it works best.
Ideally my logo needs to be in the centre of the page however when I put it back to my original header style the icons disappear.

If you’ve used custom code to change the theme default files then we recommend you move all the custom code to a child theme. Also you should do website backups once in a while to be safe. Other than that, you should be safe updating the theme in Shopkeeper > Updates.
