Sounds like you’re using the old version of the theme. I couldn’t find a no-touch class in the main CSS of the latest update of this theme.

Try to update the theme to see if it works.

Hi, how do I update the theme? I see that I have 1.0.5. and on this envato market they say there is a version 1.3.1. But how do I update? In my wordpress, there are no updates to be seen… Can I find them here somewhere?

If you have Envato Market plugin installed, you can update the theme in Appearance -> Themes. If there is a new update available for the Overlap theme, you will see a notification message with the update link. Click on the link to update the theme. After you update the theme, you will see a notification message at the top of admin page to update bundled plugins.

Your contact form looks good on my end. Also, I’ve tried to submit a message, it says “Thank you for your message. It has been sent.”. That means your contact form is working properly.

However, if it doesn’t work on your WordPress admin page either, it might be a plugin compatibility issue. Try to update the theme to see if it works.

You don’t need to define (‘WPLANG’, ‘fr_FR’) in config.php, it is only for WordPress 3.9.x and below and that was deprecated in WordPress 4.0. That means it doesn’t work if you’re using WordPress 4.0 and greater, as you can see here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Language_and_Language_Directory

You will need to set your site language in WordPress Settings page instead. Go to Settings -> General, select Site Language (Français).

You can change the portfolio slug in Theme Options -> Portfolio -> Portfolio Single Post -> Portfolio Slug. Change it to ‘portfolio’ so the URL will be ’/portfolio/walker-hunter/’ instead.

After you edit the portfolio slug, you will need to update the permalink settings to refresh the permalink caches. Go to Settings -> Permalinks, select “Post name” and then save changes.

This is a problem with the Redux Framework, it couldn’t create a new folder in “wp-content/uploads”. The upload folder “wp-content/uploads” and all subfolders should be writable. Please ensure that they have the proper read-write permissions.

Anyway, try to create new folder named “redux” in “wp-content/uploads/” on your web server to see if it works.

The portfolio in this theme works the same as the blog post from WordPress.

If you’d like to display different portfolio items in different pages or sections, of course it does. You can add multiple portfolio grid widgets in the same page or in different pages. So, you can choose the items from specific categories, skills and tags to display in different portfolio grid widgets.

Sure, the WPBakery Page Builder plugin is included in the theme. You can normally use it activating the product purchase code. The activation option is only available for direct customer who has purchased that plugin individually to enable the automatic update feature and access direct support from the plugin author but you don’t need them.

After you install the theme, you will see a notification message to install Visual Composer and other bundled plugins.

1. The Slider Revolution plugin is included in the theme, you don’t need to activate the product purchase code. The activation option is only available for direct customer who has purchased it individually to access direct support from the plugin author. You can import demo sliders in Theme Options -> Home, select only Sliders and choose a demo to import.

Also, if you’d like to import slider templates from Slider Revolution plugin site, you can download them here: https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

And then import them manually in Revolution Slider screen on your WordPress admin.

2. I’ve never tried that plugin but I think it should work with the Visual Composer because it is just an extension of the media library to show your files in folder view.

First of all, I would recommend you to update the theme to make sure it will be compatible with the new update of WordPress and all other plugins.

After you update the theme, you will see a notification message to update Wyde Core and other bundled plugins.

Once you’ve updated them all, you will need to purged all caches if you have a cache plugin installed.

If you’re using that version but it still doesn’t work. Make sure you’ve purged all caches after you update the theme. Also, try to press Crtl+R to force your browser to load new resource files.

This theme is fully integrated with Visual Composer page builder, the most popular page builder on Envato Market: https://codecanyon.net/item/visual-composer-page-builder-for-wordpress/242431 We have never tested it with the Elementor and other page builder plugins so I’m not sure and couldn’t confirm it would work properly with those plugins.

However, all content elements in this theme are only available for Visual Composer, it doesn’t support other page builder plugins so we would recommend you to use it with the Visual Composer instead.
